Diamondize (ディアモンダイズ) is the Emitter-type Quirk of TBD.
With Diamondize, TBD can forcefully mutate even minimal traces of carbon into diamonds, provided she is in physical contact with the source of the carbon. They usually appear brilliant and translucent, often showing a faint hue of blue, pink, or purple. Primarily growing from her body, the minerals can appear from any surface she is in physical contact with that contains carbon.
TBD can control the growth of the naturally octahedral gems into constructs to aid her in battle, or for recreational purposes. She can also deactivate her Quirk, causing the diamonds to decay rapidly. As diamonds are the hardest naturally occuring material on Earth, the gems are well-suited for blunt attacks or precise cutting.
Weaknesses:
Diamondize's diamonds are not quite as durable as natural diamonds, and, while still possessing tremendous durability, can be broken by sufficient external force. Furthermore, extreme heat causes porosity, turning the gems brittle.

Yachiyo was born the youngest grandchild of the Ōkashi patriarch, with high hopes that finally a child of an eighth generation would manifest the Mōragan; when the infant proved to indeed carry the rare dōjutsu, her parents and grandfather were delighted, but her siblings instead felt envy. Instead of playtime and friendship, Yachiyo was meticulously groomed to be her best possible self. Her father in particular began to shift the expectations he had placed in his oldest son, adding them to the already unrealistic standard he held Yachiyo to, who felt suffocated by the myriad of training excercises and the sense of duty she had to shoulder. Difficult techniques, such as the family's customary fūinjutsu, and terrible combat practice, quickly forced Yachiyo to develop exceptional skills for a child her age, lest she break to the relentless teaching. Only her grandmother treated her like the child she was, teaching her the art of glassworking, an artisan endeavor her mother's family had bestowed upon each child. Incidentally, the recreational activity helped Yachiyo to hone her Katon.
While she showed herself to be an exceptional novice kunoichi in most every depertment, so much so that by the time she enrolled in the academy, she remained ahead of her peers effortlessly, Yachiyo drifted more and more towards the whimsical traditions of her family; tending to the clan's gardens, and her grandmother's unique glass artistry. Momentarily free from the pressure of her grandfather's training, Yachiyo proved equally prodigious in her recreational pursuits, devoting more and more time to them, much to her family's distate. Often hiding away from her demanding, almost abusive grandfather, chiding parents, and competitive siblings, she instead slept in the gardens or snuck away to further hone her skill with glass. Continuing her education, the head-start Yachiyo held over her competition melted. In fact, Yachiyo even struggled with some of the basic techniques her peers had mastered easily, narrow-mindedly obsessing over her own pursuits. However, while her fundamentals were awful, she showcased exceptional skill when she developed a crude form of her own ninjutsu, applying her unmatched technical skill to the glass figurines she loved so dearly.
When graduation time came around, Yachiyo had become alienated, sometimes mocked for her lack of mastery of basic skills despite being a prodigious kunoichi from a prestigious clan; her fall from grace was a welcome retribution for those who perceived her as nothing but a privileged and aloof brat. Her lack of academic success had earned her severe scoldings and punishments at home, ultimately resulting in a depressed disposition. At this time of great tension, Yachiyo inadvertently incited an alteration with Mochi Kurimi at the Academy. The incident was cut short, as an emotionally unstable Yachiyo broke down crying, betraying her stoic image and stunning Kurimi. After teachers interfered, the two girls made up and bonded over their shared domestic troubles, inciting a quiet but strong friendship. Shortly after, Yachiyo met Bijou in her family's gardens. A particularly small lesser panda, who seemed to instinctively take a liking to the girl, whom experienced a similar kinship. Her fondness and bond with the creature and newfound friendships served as an invigorating experience, allowing Yachiyo to scoot by. C H A R A C T E R D E V E L O P M E N T
- So, first and foremost, I kinda would like to have a pretty distinct character development from being sort of difficult and an individualist but kind-hearted, to a more playful attitude but with her actual disposition becoming hardened, maybe even slipping towards the antagonistic side. I really enjoy these sort of contrasting personalities, and I think this development specifically is fun. However, I don't really like being the bad one, so ideally this would circle back a bit AGAIN, to a better adjusted, redeemed character with some edges and issues, but a generally "good" disposition.
-A big aspect of her character, as I envisioned it, would be her desire to establish a genuinely fair ninja society, or at least kickstart a change in how people view perceived prestige, lesser ninjas, other villages, low-ranking clans and such. Basically, focus on class-divide and volatile norms. Obviously this is a really grandios ideal, and I imagine this being a very childish and dumb dream at first, then shifting towards an almost fanatic goal of hers. She'd go about it the wrong way for a long time. I think it'd be nice if she could find a way to achieve that goal to a smaller, realistic extent, but without, you know, the usual genocidal shit anime characters with these desires pull.
- Power-wise I would like her to develop the glass jutsu to a really high level, which would make her pretty powerful but also a unique character. I think it'd be super funny if she ends up this novelty genius who perfects a jutsu nobody else uses (like Konan, who was a pretty big influence. Also continue to develop fuinjutsus and maybe a proper animal summon. I really like scroll stuff in general, and I made her clan specialize in summons and fuinjutsus but since I gave her a dojutsu (albeit a somewhat weak one, compared to others) and a cool technique, I'm not too fussed if it doesn't happen. After all, she is meant to reject many of her clans customs so it wouldn't be too out of the way to not do it. :)

Yachiyo has hazel-colored eyes and regal features, lending her an air of maturity beyond her years.

Simple • Blacks, Greys, Oranges, GreensDuring missions, Yachiyo tends towards a comfortable orange and black windjacket, with a sleeveless skintight bodysuit underneath. Above the bodysuit, she wears a form-fitting, poncho-like garment with short sleeves, that contains a mask to pull over the lower half of her face. She wears a black, high-waisted pair of pants with a skinny fit and orange sandals that reach quite high along her leg, for stability.
On her off-time, she can often be seen in a sleeveless jumpsuit, with the midsection being tied into a less lumpy style, with sporty sneakers and a cropped top underneath the usually half-done jumper.
Yachiyo sleeps in a baby blue silk pajama. She leaves her hair open when she sleeps.

Her silent defiance of truly accepting the unequal state of her village is deeply connected to her utmost belief in the phrase.

In spite of her inner beliefs, she dearly loves and respects her family, and knows very well that a betrayal of established values would uproot their position within the village. As such, she wishes to find a way to appease the powers that are without relenting to their mistreatment of their own. Her dreams of rebellion and peace are juvenile, characterized by her own lack of experience, but her strive for power is fueled by the desire to achieve them nonetheless.

Yachiyo was born the youngest grandchild of the Ōkashi patriarch, without much in the way of anticipation for her future. What should've been a normal childhood was quickly recalibrated when Yachiyo - a mere seven months old - showed herself to possess the Mōragan. The rare trait upset the internal structure, with delighted parents, a calmed patriarch, and jealous siblings. Instead of playtime and friendship, Yachiyo was meticulously groomed to be her best possible self - and more. Her father in particular began to shift the expectations he had placed in his oldest son, adding them to the already unrealistic standard he held Yachiyo to, who felt suffocated by the myriad of training excercises and the sense of duty she had to take on.
When Yachiyo began her academy training, her abilities were more developed than most due to the diligent training she had received, much to the approval of her instructors. Her initially almost-prodigious status reinforced the perception of the Ōkashi's value to village, and alienated Yachiyo from her peers, which, in combination with the hostility between the castes, spelled a life of isolation for the young kunoichi.
Her clan, however, was pleased. Yachiyo was presentable and valuable. A gifted youngling, blessed with power, relentlessly perfected by a strict routine.
Continuing her education, the divide between Yachiyo and her competition melted. While she showed herself to be a competent student in most every depertment, the lead seemed to shrink. As more and more skills and techniques became requirements, Yachiyo found herself struggling with some of them, much to the delight of her peers and the distate of her family. In particular, her unrefined usage of the Invisible World techniques became a great source of distress, as it was paramount for utilizing the Mōragan fully. Her lone tutor, her grandfather, was a particularly strict and harsh man, who held none of the resentment he held for her back. These rigorous lessons planted guilt and despair in Yachiyo's heart over the fact that she was the first to inherit the dōjutsu, rather than her parents or siblings.
Unable to turn to anyone for anything - be it her drowning in work and expectation, the competition between her and her classmates, or her emotional state - Yachiyo was close to hitting rock bottom, when she met Yata. A crow with tiny wings - an outlier among the avians her family maintained such a close relationship with - seemed to instinctively take a liking to the girl, whom experienced a similar kinship. Though the summoning techniques which her family was famous for was a far-cry from realistic for the inexperienced kunoichi, her parents consented to the companionship, noting the energy it seemed to replenish for Yachiyo. Yachiyo's wagasa is made out of a contract that she is not able to use yet, and contains the kanji and decoratative designs of the red scroll. Yachiyo utilizes the wagasa in conjunction with Fūton techniques and Chakra Flow to enhance her mobility or control the battefield, or turn it into a makeshift weapon, if needed. Without the addition of Chakra Flow, the item is brittle, and prone to being burned, soaked, or slashed. Its ergonomics can also be a hindrance. - Yata is a small raven, and part of the murder the Ōkashi summon in battle. Somewhat of a pariah from its family due to its wingspan, Yata is an important aid to Yachiyo, able to serve as a distraction, informant, and aid in techniques. However, it is primarily a pet, rather than an integral part of Yachiyo's combat, and is easily frightened by "scary" things, making him an unreliable addition to Yachiyo's fighting capabilities. - A small pouch filled with ash that Yachiyo can use to litter the environment with easily-manipulated targets. |

It is characterized by a black sclera with subtle swirls within the area, a bright white iris, and three pitch black pupils that are evenly spaced out across the width of the iris, with the center one being slightly larger than the other two. The Mōragan alters its wielders' perception so as to become aware of even minor chakra traces on an instinctual level, as well as register the absence of it more strongly. Users of the Mōragan are capable of tracking individual sources of chakra with ease, to the extent that it is possible to perceive what the user's targets are seeing themselves. This is achieved by the Mōragan's unique tethering, in which the user frequently receives and reciprocates small amounts of chakra, creating a continuous link of energy exchange with their target. It is also possible to implant some of one's own chakra into a targets without any (such as inanimate objects) and track them through it. The ability to track multiple targets at once requires mastery of the dōjutsu. Though none of the few Ōkashi that wielded the Mōragan has achieved such mastery since, a revered Ōkashi patriarch has been said to be able to perceive "everything his prey had seen, and could've seen". Because it is so potent in recognizing even miniscule amounts of chakra and, thus, differentiating between that which hosts chakra and that which does not, it is also able to recognize otherwise microscopic objects that the normal human eye could not. Not only are there applications with the planting of chakra, it is also possible to siphon it. SPECIALITY Fūinjutsu, particularly Summoning Techniques LEGACY The Ōkashi are one of the few clans that has not been native to Kirigakure, that has been accepted into the Gyokushō caste. They are well respected and treasured by the nobility for their contribitions to the village, as their steadfast aid in the war, as well as their ability to track down threats such as missing-nin through the Mōragan, has been invaluable. As such, they are considered valuable allies and respected people. They tend to function as a voice of reason in the case of senseless violence, though they stray from opposing anyone truly important, knowing well of their fortunate treatment and the frail ego of humanity. VALUES The Ōkashi have been lead by patriarchs for the majority of their time, having somewhat conservative views on the differences between women and men, as the myths of Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu were an important aspect in the clan's creation. However, matriarchs have existed. Overall, the Ōkashi are a clan that is characterized by its respect for - more or less - everyone and everything. Their most distinctive quality is their utter devotion to nature and life itself. They are well-known for their tranquil gardens and the creatures they protect. The Ōkashi belief is that all is one, and one is all, and as such it is important to be as kind and graceful to one another as possible. Ōkashi clan leaders tend to be imposing, highly decorous people, who respect traditions and authority, and likewise demand respect for their own authority. TRADITIONS When an Ōkashi is at their wit's end, they are to capture a crow that does not belong to the clan without hurting it. They are then to take it to their home, and release it at sunrise. If the crow flies north, it means to leave the situation behind, and look past it. If it flies east, it means to endure and hold on, waiting for the intervention of life itself. If it flies south, one should respond with violence. If it flies west, the problem lies in one's family, and reconciliation is advised. Every Ōkashi receives a scroll prepared for them by their parents. A contract with the crows is made, for when the child is taught and able to utilize the Summoning Technique their clan is famous for. Boys receive their contract from their mother, while girls receive their contracts from their father. Ōkashi who are born with the Mōragan are always given names that contain either the kanjis 八 or 烏. This tradition is so deeply embedded in their history that children who manifest the dōjutsu after they are born, but before reaching adulthood, are renamed, and have their contract redone. Even the few adult members who manifested their eyes later have willingly adopted a new name. All Ōkashi are taught to use either a gunbai (for the boys) or a wagasa (for the girls, depending on their gender as a weapon. It is tradition for the child to be tutored by the corresponding parent; if a parent is unable to do so due to death or illness, a grandparent, parent, or sibling may be substituted. HEIRLOOMS Every child receives a gunbai or wagasa from their parents, that has been handcrafted by them, on the child's third birthday. Furthermore, it is custom to gift one's child a single feather of their crow. The Ōkashi estate houses many of the gunbai and wagasa of important Ōkashi, as well as a collection of each of their crows' feathers. ORGANIZATION The head of the clan is either a patriarch or matriarch, who is appointed by the previous clanleader and their advisors. The head of the clan must be agreed on by both the previous leader - who nominates them - and his or her three advisors. The three advisors consist of the youngest advisor of the previous head, as well as two of their own free choosing. The word of a clan head is untouchable, and the Ōkashi greatly respect their leader, as they believe that his or her authority unites them, and protects them, even if they may not personally agree with their decisions. As such, there is no questioning and little quarrel about an appointed head or advisor, as their election is the word of those who are entrusted with the clan. However, it is common for likely candidates to compete. How they handle such matter is a vital deciding factor in who the head chooses to succeed them. Even the Ōkashi of old days believed in the respect for life and nature, but then, it was thought that the might to shape life for oneself is the way to achieve true contentment and the only proper way to live life. A core belief of the clan was also that might was fated, and to not pursue it meant to reject one's role in life. His sons would adapt their father's views. INTEGRATION In one of the most well-known instances of the crow ritual, Unosuke Ōkashi, the head of the clan at the time, let free a crow he had caught, which promptly flew north. Inspired by the sight of the crows, contrasting against the rising sun, he decided to take his family and travel north himself, leaving the unheard-of in-fighting that had plagued the clan in recent years behind. With several of the allied Ōkashi branches following him, this journey lead the clan to Kirigakure shortly before the first Shinobi World War broke out. Upon arrival, the Ōkashi were met with distrust and animosity due to being foreigners with a Kekkei Genkai. Unwilling to cower, Unosuke and his clan readily aided the village in any efforts they would let them have, never complaining about the danger of assignments. Upon the peak of the Ōkashi's increase in reputation for their competency, Onosuke fell in combat, protecting his team. And though this, too, was viewed favorably, the clan was now in dire need of a successor. Hanayo, his only child and daughter, was appointed to lead the clan, as per Onosuke's dying wishes. Hanayo was an exceptionally intelligent and charismatic woman, able to balance the expectation placed in her as a woman, and her own ability, maneuvering smartly within Kirigakure's society. To further her family's place in the village, she joined the Oinin Butai, who made exceptional use of the Mōragan in tracking down missing-nin, and married a member of a distant Ōkashi branch, Umito, who also possessed the Mōragan, believing it to increase the chance of their children possessing the dōjutsu. Ultimately, Hanayo's smart strategies worked, and the Ōkashi enjoyed great respect within Kirigakure's upper echelon. PRESENTLY Years ago, Hanayo fell ill, deferring her duties to her husband instead, whose since lead the Ōkashi with great resolve, focusing on strengthening the family's ties with the Kage and the rest of the Gyokushō. Umito has sacrificed much of his life to establish his association with the noble families of Kirigakure, knowing well how to maintain his presence while offering his unquestionable aid. It is due to Umito's efforts that the clan to risen to become one of the most valued families of foreigners to live in Kirigakure. However, his personal sacrifice and strictness has lead to a harsher leadership, and tenser relations within the clan. |

Rea is a rather slim girl of average height, standing at 5'5". Despite her thin stature, her midsection and arms show some light definition due to her lean physique. She possesses a tan complexion, lavender eyes, and a rebellious blonde mane, which she has given up trying to maintain beyond basic parting.
Generally considered attractive by the boys in her grade, Rea has a reputation for being unapprochable due to her perpetually tired and lightly-annoyed resting expression, which clash with her otherwise dainty features. There is a small bar code tattoo underneath her right eye, alongside her cheekbones, which she has received at an early point in her life, which she is highly self-conscious about.
Rea prefers casual chique and comfortable clothes, often sporting sweaters, and long skirts, though she has a habit of lounging about in her sleep wear all day when left to her devices.
Personality
Rea is generally a fairly level-headed and mature young woman. However, she has a notorious issue with indulging her laziness, often oversleeping, putting off work until the last possible moment, and sometimes missing deadlines or dates entirely. Rea is almost cripplingly-dependent on caffeine to get into the swing of things, and becomes increasingly cranky if she is deprived of it for extended periods of time.
Perhaps fueled by her lingering lethargy, Rea is unwaveringly prone to get unreasonably comfortable in places she probably shouldn't be. She is a drag to get out of bed, will cling to any bed or couch she can find, and tends to lower her guard or even nap off wherever there is a soft seat to be found. She is also quite the homemaker, in a sense, as she loves to tidy up places and make them particularly cozy and lovely. Dragging Rea away from a carefully-prepared hot cup and a good book is like playing with fire, as she will explode into a comical hissyfit when kept from enjoying her downtime.
Though Rea has a reputation among her peers for being confrontational and loudmouthed, self-restraint is prominently on her mind, as she is afraid of strengthening negative prejuidice she may evoke due to her background and abilities. Though she is, in fact, no pushover, Rea has a tendency to become quiet and sometimes even bashful when she is infatuated on someone - because this behavior is quite easy to pick out, it is a great source of embarrassment for Rea.

Backstory
Rea was abducted as one of many children in a crime spree that swept across England 16 years ago. Though the identity behind the perpetrator remains a mystery to this very day, exhaustive investigations have concluded that at least one Witch was involved, though it is believed that the incidents were not related to any one entity within the Witch society, such as the Order. Though Rea's memories are flakey, she has recollected vivid memories of other children, all seemingly of prepubescent age. Another detail that has burned itself into her mind was the fact that in spite of their young age, every child present exhibited unusually developed demon weapon transformations. Few of the missing children have been found within the abandoned facility, with Rea being one of just seven.
Numerous examinations conducted after Rea's rescue indicated that her bloodstream had clearly been altered, showing heavy traces of the nefarious Black Blood. Furthermore, it was concluded that Rea, much like the other abducted children, had been originally born a Demon Weapon. Initially chalking the other voice up to psychological damage, Rea had become host to a second entity, called Giles, whom she had become a symbiotic Meister to. Because none of the exhibited behavior or shared information matched any of the known missing reports, it was concluded that Rea's Black Blood treatment had transformed select personality traits of herself and other victims, as well as her own Demon Weapon abilities, into a seperate entity's soul within her.
Returning to mundane society at the gentle age of 10, Rea was troubled fitting in with other kids her age. As such, she has learned from a young age on to be her own best friend, to make the best out of her time and situation, and how to deal with the unfairly heightened expectations of others. Though frightened by the second presence inside her body, Rea grew to co-exist with him, ultimately accepting Giles, who, to her surprise, held no grudge against her, and instead accepted his fate as her weapon. Originally adopting an impossibly-perfect demeanor, Rea grew to reject all of it, instead living at her own pace.
It wasn't until a renowned Meister agreed to foster her, that the idea of a future at the DWMA developed. Being afforded a normal life, free of judgement or prying, for the first time, Rea took well to his tutelage and ultimately began attending DWMA.

Rea may conceal her own Wavelength with the help of Giles, who, at worst, distorts her own wavelength. Though neither of the two have a clue on how to capitalize of this, their teacher admonished them to never forget this ability, as it may one day be absolutely necessary to employ it.
Like all Meisters, Rea has a rudimentary Wavelength Control.

An engineered Bond, Rea's and Giles' Soul Resonance consists of Rea briefly relenting a large degree of control, equalizing the pair's input on the technique. In this state, the exchange of power between the pair enables the Ringblade to spin incredibly fast, which does not only increase the weapon's cutting power, but even enables primitive mobility.

A large, hollowed sawblade The teeth of the blade are coarser than most others. It is also quite sleek, visually, possessing dangerously sharp blades on either side of the circle. If it weren't for the Black Blood, this Demon Weapon would likely inflict injury upon its wielder.

Giles is, to an extent, Rea's courage personified. As such, he tends to motivate or push her onwards, and is of great emotional importance to Rea. He's excellent at pep talks.
