and was wondering if there were any slots left?
I'm interested in this and was wondering if there were any slots left? I don't know a lot about Granblue, but from my understanding I don't need to know much.
Name: Zendrith Strombron
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Race: Dhirom (White)
Element: Water
Dream: "My dream? I just want to build the ship that makes it Estalucia! Because that ship, that ship would surely be the greatest in the world!"
Home: An island covered in water, with very little land to speak of. Water careens off the edges of the island and into the void below, yet the island never runs out of water seemingly. The economy is supported by the ships built and sold there, many of the greatest shipwrights were born here.
Personality: Curiosity lies at the core of Zendrith's character, always seeking to find out more about the world around her and what makes people do what they do. She then puts that knowledge to work in whatever project she has on her mind at the time, usually some new gadget or another draft of the perfect ship. She's extremely confident in her work of course, borderline arrogance as she believes that anything made by her could never malfunction. Of course things can be improved upon, but it's very rare for her to bother improving on past inventions. Usually she just starts from scratch to see how the process can be done more efficiently.
Around others she is pretty awkward, not that she realizes it. Her statements are often blunt and to the point, disregarding social etiquette in favor of efficiency in conversation. She's also not very sensitive to other's emotions, which has caused problems in the past. Zendrith has never been great with people, but as far as she's concerned she's the most popular person in the room at all times. Such is the delusion of the greatest engineer/shipwright ever.
Background: Growing up as an orphan on the streets of one of the world's hubs of invention and progress tended to teach you quite a few things. How to take care of yourself without help was one, learning how to make a speedy getaway when you stole something and got caught was another. But the most important things Zendrith learned, was how to read schematics. At first it was just a way to make money, stealing some paper from some rich inventor for a quick buck on the black market. But as she grew fluent in the language of science and crafting, she took an interest in just what she was taking.
By age 16 she was no longer stealing the schematics, she was drafting them up herself and registering patents to make money. It was a decent enough way to make a living sure, but it didn't hold a candle to the adrenaline rushes of navigating the busy streets while running from an angry stall owner. She began to design a new ship, something to get her off this island and find something new in life. By the age of 21 she had finally done it. She had not only saved up enough to build her ship, but she had managed to get a functioning prototype ready to go.
And it needed to be ready to go, because most of those parts were actually stolen. No way was she gonna pay for a fully functioning ship in just 5 years, not any good one anyways! She payed for the important parts herself, nobody was really gonna miss the rest of that stuff. Except for the people who did and now wanted her thrown in jail.
Fast forward 4 years, she has been traveling from island to island looking for adventure, and she's finally found her perfect adventure. The island of Estalucia, the promised land of legend. She had no real wish for Estalucia herself, but making the ship that could get to Estalucia would be a dream come true! She could claim the title of greatest Inventor to ever live with no contest!
And so Zen's story truly begins here.
Gimmicks: Zen is an inventor at heart, using her own custom gadgets to defend herself when necessary. Her primary method of attack is two water pistols that fire highly pressurized blasts of water that can either cut or bludgeon depending on size of stream. On the side, she uses things like steam bombs to obscure vision and scald enemies, she can deploy water that quickly freezes from the soles of her shoes, and if worst comes to worst she can just use her natural strength to suplex people. She does enjoy a good suplex from time to time.
Inventory: While she of course has all her various gadgets and weapons, the most important thing she keeps on her person at all times would have to be her notebook. A worn white book with plenty of blank paper in it, she records everything in this book, and I do mean everything. Personal thoughts, ideas for inventions, journal entries, if it can be written down it likely will be. Usually kept tucked in one of her inside jacket pockets. She also keeps plenty of tools with her in a blue toolbox to help her repair whatever she may come across, whether it be fixing up boats or machinery.

So, right off the bat I hate to point it out, but Dhirom scale color is directly tied to their ether element. Also, the island needs a name, since I'm kinda planning for most islands to be visitable in the rp.
However, overall a pretty nice character overall. Personality is bombastic which I can appreciate. She's accepted.
why the fuck so many people stealin'?

Isn't the Water element/scale color white? Also yeah, I can come up with a name for the island. Just need to figure something out.
Island named, Zendrith hails from the Island of Grey Sea.
