March, 2019
The PFL officially began on March 2nd, 2019--with an announcement of some magnitude. Though smaller in scope, the hope was that the PFL could come to own niche markets previously dominated by college markets, expand into Canada and Mexico and generally provide a bridge between the superstars of the NFL and the unpaid players of collegiate football. With only 8 teams in a North-South conference, many were wary of what kind of future the PFL had.
March 2nd, 2019
The Vancouver Leopards struck first, flying in both former University of Oregon Head Coach Kellen Sharp--who had been a rising star and many assumed destined to become an NFL head coach--and former Baltimore Ravens Defensive Coordinator Braden Weiss.

Reports from sources close to the front office indicate tentative interest in former NFL Head Coach Alexander Thompson as a candidate for the head coaching position in Anchorage. They reportedly flew him in early this morning and are expected to have him meet with the owners and other staff this week.
March 5th
Quebec City interviewed Gabriel Thomas, a former XFL and NFL head coach and consultant for a possible coaching position.
March 8th
At the end of the week, reports surfaced that potential candidates for Quebec City had flown in Walter Lerenti and Rylen Erickson for potential interviews.
