It's been hell all week. After fierce urban combat to the point of using fists and knives, Soviet and Third Reich forces have been waging war in the streets and buildings of Stalingrad again and again. However, where the Germans once encircled the Soviet forces before, now they have been cut off from reinforcements and Soviet forces have finally received the armored support they so desperately need. Now, an operation is underway to push the fascist forces out of Red Square, however this is will be a bloodbath.
All day at the motor pool, Soviet forces were gearing up for their offensive. Soviet armor was being repaired, rearmed, and refueled to prepare for the next big push to retake the bleeding heart of Stalingrad. This of course, was not only to be attempted by Soviet ground forces and tanks, but also by long range BM-13 support. However, the problem was that the Katyusha's needed armored frontline defense to set up, as well as the proper coordinates to fire strikes to decimate Nazi held positions.
Dimitri was busy trying to work on a brief last minute inspection of factory works Number # 472 "Ironwill", the T-34 tank he and the other crew were assigned to. He was checking the gauges and inspecting the controls while he awaited orders. Thus far, everything seemed good as he checked all the measurements and controls.Dimitri knew that soon the other crew members and himself were to be deployed to the frontlines, and to be honest he relished the moment to get revenge on the fascists for besieging his home-city of Voronezh. For him, it would be a personal vendetta motivated by the chance to gun down fascist pigs and to burn the very Nazi warmachine that had lingered so long in Stalingrad.
