Hoping to have a post up today. I’ve been too exhausted lately to focus on writing but I’m hoping that sleeping most of the day away will fix that.

The essence of the debate should be what you'd expect. Things aren't going to get really dynamic until after the next round of posts, as I wanted to see what the players would make of the world, what they'd do/create, etc.

The square is obviously full of people from all over the Reclaim Zone. Derelicts, vagrants, gangers, and politicians alike are all conglomerated in rallies or by food stands, etc. The stage is cleared by a very small team of security guards, though it seems what is most holding the people back is apathy. Perhaps I should have written a little more to set the scene.

Either way, my only intent for you guys at this point is to step into your character and find what they might be doing in the world. As hectic as things are right now, this is kind of a lull in the action that is yet to come, so take the time to establish what Proctor would do in this time. Feel free to create some sort of encounter for yourself. I can help with any NPCs if you'd like, but you're free to do with Central Square and the crowd in general what you'd wish. There's plenty of different sorts of people you could interact with, and like I always say when it comes to Futility, the world is moving around the players. There's always things you could be looking into, finding out more about, and investigating to get more information or uncover new plots.

@Firecracker_ asked me about Central Square, its goings on, and what you guys are expected to do, and I thought this short blurb up. I wanted to offer it to all of you guys as I think it might help in some post drafts.

You're essentially in the open world at this point. Establish yourselves. Begin your development in the direction you desire it to go. The overarching plot is going to come in very soon, but I wanted each person to have a moment to set themselves in the scene rather than being randomly thrown into a railroaded plotline. I hope that's good by all of you as this is basically a moment of buildup for what's to come.

Alright. As it seems like we've lost Hour Error, I'm going to go ahead and say we'll proceed without them. I've edited the last Delilah post and story post with small bursts of information directing Taryn to join them. If you could make your next post a transition to the Old Rail Stop, that'd be fantastic. We can just say you arrived shortly after Cass and Mackwell did. Thanks for the help with this one.

All my years in China have taught me that we Americans don't go hard enough with fireworks for the 4th of July, especially with the near constant barrage of fireworks that started early in the morning and lasted until late at night it felt like. Happy Chinese New Year to all!
