"i want you to know that i dont care about any of it" she says to him "i like you for you not what you have" she says "does you mom know your courting someone?" she asked.

Elizabeth crossed her arms.
"no, I may have agreed to letting you call me 'mouse' when we are alone, but bunny is where I draw the line."

James nodded.
"I'm glad."
He blinked and shook his head.
"But, that pet raven of hers always finds me and reports back to her. so, odds are, she already knows."

he laughed hard "awe" he says and pouts "mouse and bunny, i can put them together and be bunnymouse, or mousebunny, or bousy?" he smiled at her

"pet raven?" she says "your mom can talk to a raven?" she asked him "do you speak to animals too?" she asked

"The raven is her familiar. they communicate with thoughts."
James sighed and shook his head no.
"not yet."

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes.
"no."

he kisses her cheek "oh ELizabeth" he says as he laughs "dont worry it will always just be mouse" he says to her "maybe" he winked at her

"not yet?" she says "so you hope to be able to talk to them?" she asked him.

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms.
"brandon…….."

James shrugged.
"maybe."

"yes my love" he says and looks at her. "i love you" he smiled at her. "your cute when you make that face" he says

"when are you to come into that ability?" she asked him. "James?" she looks at him "do you think your mom will approve of me?" she asked him

Elizabeth shook her head.
"no new nicknames like that."

James shrugged. He blinked when he heard her question.
"I'm sure that she will."

he chuckled "alright love no new nicknames like that" he told her. he walks with her to the mansion. He sets her down at the door. gives her a long kiss on her soft lips. "now i need to go and change" he told her.

she frowned "and if she doesn't?" she asked him "will you stay with me still?" she asked

Elizabeth nodded. She sighed and waited.

James nodded.
"of course i'd stay with you."

"you would?' she says a bit shocked. "even if you mother said no?" she said

Brandon took her hand and walked with her back to his room. "make yourself comfortable, im going to hop in the shower, get the smell of lake off of me" he winked at her as he took his shirt off. his pants rest loosely on his hips. he grabbed clean boxers and jeans before getting his towel. he was letting her get a good look at him.

James nodded.
"I already inherited my fathers' business and such. I have my own money. what can she do? drop me from the will? I am her only child and I have no living cousins who want her money and such. There is nothing she can do anyway."

Elizabeth blushed a bit and kept her head turned away. She nodded as she sat there on the bed. Her dress sleeve fell down a bit from the shoulder.

he looked over at her and smiled. he walked over to her and kissed her bare shoulder. "if i didnt know any better mouse this was a sign of seduction" he says as kissed her neck and lightly nibbled on the bottom on her ear lobe. he slides the dress sleeve back up onto her shoulder. "but I know you and you wouldnt do that" he whispered in her ear before kissing her neck once more.

Kali nodded "alright" she says to him. "was your father a good man James?" she asked him wondering about his parents.

James nodded.
"He was a great man, a wonderful father. We were heartbroken when he fell ill like he did, and sadly, that was what took him from this world."

Elizabeth turned red. She gasped. She bit her lip. She looked away.
"n...no, but it seems like that is what YOU are doing."

she kissed his cheek. "its good you had a good father" she says "so he made time with you and did things with you" she asked him

"hmm, maybe mouse, but maybe i just enjoy kissing you" he says "and hear your heart rate kick up" he winked at her. "besides im only half naked, again something you will have to get use too" he told her "but hey the invitation is open if you want to join me in the shower" he told her "i promise no touching unless you want me too" he smiled at her and walked into the bathroom and turned on the water. he got out of his jeans and boxers and walked into the shower.

James shrugged a bit.
"I suppose he did. but, he was often busy with his work. he tried though."

Elizabeth managed a nod. She bit her lip for a moment. She looked towards him when he went to get a shower. She did not join him. she wasn't ready for THAT yet.

"i wish i would have gotten a chance to meet him" she says "he sounds wonderful" she told him "if your father was here do you think he would approve of me?" she asked.

Brandon got out of the shower and dried off. He he put on his clean boxers and jeans. he walks out of the bathroom as he was drying his hair with the towel. "did you at least peak at me in the shower?" he asked hiding a smile.

James nodded.
"Yes, i'm sure that he would."

Elizabeth shook her head no.
"I never even went into the bathroom."
She tried not to turn red.

"i think you would make a good dad" she told him "because like your father you are a kind man, you got that from him" she says to him

he grinned but quickly "what a wasted opportunity" he teased her. he got himself a shirt and walked over to her as he slipped it on. he pulled it down and sat down beside her on the bed.

James blinked. He turned red.
"...thank you."

Elizabeth peeked at him while he did that, but then she looked away when he sat down on the bed.
