Elizabeth turned red and bit her lip. She nodded.

James was sobbing.

he took her hand and kissed it. "seriously?" he asked her "how..how do you know?" he asked her.

Kali fell asleep on the couch curled in a ball.

"I'm not a hundred percent. I didn't want to say anything until I was."
Elizabeth turned red.

James snuck downstairs for a snack a short time later. He looked at kali.

"so what do you know that you are? see a doctor right?" he asked her

kali was fast asleep on the couch.

Elizabeth nodded.
"I have an appointment later."

James sighed, looking at kali.

"so you were going to go to it alone ?" he asked her "can i come with?" he asked her

she hand her hands under her head and her knees brought up to her chest as she was curled in a ball sleeping on the couch. She shivered a bit.

James covered her with a blanket.

Elizabeth looked at him and nodded.

Kali pulled the blanket up to her chin.

he leans over and kiss her lips. "we might be parents" he says "i honestly didnt think it would happen so soon" he told her

james kissed the top of her head.

"neither did I."
Elizabeth admitted.

he looked at her "you worried or scared?" he asked her

she suprised him and wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him down for a better kiss. "where are you going?" she asked him

"both."
Elizabeth admitted.

James gasped.
"I thought you were asleep."

"i was" she says "but i smelled your cologne" she says to him she sits up "sit" she told him

"me too" he smiled at her. her dessert was brought out to her. "well eat up babe" he said :i didnt know you had it in ya" he teased her.

james complied with a frown.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and punched him lightly in the arm before she ate her cheesecake.

he laughed "thats another kiss" he told her smiling. He was happy to know that he could be a father. He was going to be a much better one then his own was.

she wrapped her arms around his torso and hugged him laying her head on on his chest.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

James blinked.
"you're not...still mad at me?"

"not really no" she says to him "and i wasnt angry enough that i wanted you to leave me alone" she says to him.

he smiled "you know you will have to tone that eye rolling down, i dont our kid to learn such bad behavior" he leaned over and kissed her

James blinked.
"Oh."

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and kissed him back.

he chuckled "see what i mean" he says to her "okay once we are done we can head back to the house" he says to her

Kali looked at him "we should work on something for the wedding" she says to him "right?"

"what would you like to work on?"
James asked her.

Elizabeth nodded.
"My appointment is in an hour and a half though."

"okay so you just want to stay in town?" he asked her

"um decorations and colors?" she says "even if its a small wedding i still want it to look pretty" hse told him
