Lokea stood there, stretching just a little while holding her Avenger assault rifle with both hands. She listened, and indeed checked her omni-tool, reading over the contract. It was quite a long one too... but, it did seem reasonable. Non-disclosure agreements, be decent, etc. Hopefully nothing that asks her to hand over her rights, though. It was good to know that she was signing up with someone who had a head on their shoulders, though. Once Saris turned to Lokea and spoke to her directly, answering her question, she sighed in relief. While she didn't get an exact number, volus typically meant it when they say pay is substantial. She stepped back and listened as Saris spoke.

Lokea hasn't noticed the new asari that has arrived until she started flirting with her, in fact. Hearing the other asari caused her to blink a little, turning to her in surprise. "... I'm sorry?" I won't mind having some fun. I think, your the sexiest Asari, I've come across my beautiful nature skinned friend. Lokea couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable around her. Lokea slowly stepped away. "I... I appreciate the comments but... I don't know you, ma'am." Lokea said, visibly uncomfortable, raising her rifle slightly in the other asari's direction. She didn't want to be rude to a potential ally but, she hoped that the other asari would take the hint and know that Lokea wasn't one of those types. In response to Gideon's comment, she sighed. "I'm getting that vibe too." She said, standing a little closer to the geth.

After reviewing the contract, and making sure it's legit, she would look to Saris. She hoped that this stint would at least go well for her, and be a story worth telling. Maybe even fun. She's saddling in for a whole new life, after all. A big decision, with a lot on the line. She smirked. "If it's worth anything, I'm in too." She said, before sending a message to Saris directly to his omni-tool.

Just please put in me in seperate quarters from the other asari, if it's not too much trouble.

Alya'Marek vas Halla

After the firestorm had come to an end with the Blue Suns finally getting the point that it was an unwinnable fight for them, Alya shouldered her weapon following the others to the main hangar to meet up with their esteemed caller finally. While everyone seemed to bombard the volus with questions, Ayla remained silent for the time only scoffing and giving a roll of the eyes at the mention of calling their families. As if her family would care where she was. She busied herself reading through some of the other portions of the contract. She turned the omni tool off at the mention of payment and smirked in her mask. That was what she was after. Oh she would help with cleaning up the system of the rabble but her morality only went so far and morality didn't pay for ship repairs and food.

While other continued to talk and the thought of the payout ultimately in the end now resting assuredly in the back of her mind, she went about eyeing the group now having a bit more time to do so with no bullets whizzing by, of course her eye rested on the geth. She had never seen one up close, well up close and still alive. Most times she had to dispatch them before gutting them to find anything of value or use.

At last, the Blue Suns retreated, unable or unwilling to continue the fight against Taria and the motley band of mercenaries the Volus had employed. Smirking, she procured a rag from somewhere on her person and gave a quick polish to the muzzle of her M-95. "Ahh, just like old times. I love calling down the thunder," she mused before holstering the launcher on her back and taking a moment to check and collect her gear. Idly istening to the Volus' message to meet the team, Taria was distracted when her omni-communicator beeped upon receiving a message. Opening it promptly, she read the message quietly to herself.

"Lokea to (names), full disclosure, you girls kicked a lot of ass. I doubt that this group is made up entirely of trustworthy individuals, but both of you pulled through in my hour of need and done more to help me protect the kids. I feel our chances of survival may rise if we stick together, but it's just a friendly suggestion."

Huh. Well for one thing, it definitely meant the small humans were in fact children. Not sure how she felt about that, but they at least seemed combat capable, so she'd cross that bridge when she came to it. Looking over the assembled mercs, Taria caught the eye of an oddly green-skinned Asari, who sent a knowing smile her way before the other Asari, a sniper whom she assumed was perched somewhere away from the fight, started to shmooze up to her. Taria gave a sympathetic smile back. It would be good to have someone else who wasn't underage or kind of creepy watching her back, at the very least.

More to the point though, Taria listened diligently to the Volus' pitch and just as diligently agreed to the contract when he sent it over to her. A bit too eager? Perhaps, but if there was anyone she trusted in the galaxy more then anyone else, it was Venok, and if Venok trusted the volus to not screw her over, that was a solid second place on the trustworthiness scale.

Or maybe a third, going by the looks of his mangled second in command.

"Hm. You wouldn't happen to be affiliated with Eclipse, would you?" He said to the sultry sniper with mild venom in his voice. "I do so sincerely hope you aren't still affiliated with them..."

"She was plugging heads the entire time we were fighting, lay off her pal," Taria interjected. There was no trust involved in that statement though; the asari exuded a lot of things but very little of that was anything trustworthy. Still, she'd readily take her side against this pile of angry meat.

"In any case, I'm interested in seeing this headquarter of ours," Taria said to Saris directly before getting a thought and addressing the rest of the group. "And just to get this out of the way, the name's Taria Lucimus, and I am in fact a former C-SEC specialist. I'm not here to arrest anyone, and if you have a problem with C-SEC, rest assured that I also have a problem with C-SEC and I'm not gonna give you a hard time over it." Taria tilted her head slightly, as if to challenge anyone to respond in a friendly manner.

Seldina took the hint, it was rather obvious anyway, to flirt with people was her way of greeting people but she did listain to Gideon comment as he called her unstable, she chuckled at that as she said "I'm not unstable dear Geth, I just have a few personal issues regarding mercenaries of Blue Sun, Eclipse and Blood pack". She removed her helmet to confirm that she was a purple Asari.

It was then she answered Laurence inquiry about her being Eclipse or still affiliated with them. "If you must know human, I am ex-Eclipse, due to those personal issues and the fact those basterd are idiot, I abandoned Eclipse all but 42 years ago and have made a habit of elimating certain targets with in their ranks" She told him seriously as she tapped her pistol on her hip in case Laurence tried to attack her even though she was ex Eclipse. She had seen brutal efficiently and a sence of pleasure when he killed Merc's, in his eyes if anything he was more unstable then her.
She did however acknowledge the Turian ex C-SEC female standing up for her dispite them not knowing each other that well which at least got her to mouth a thank you to her. So she was basically a rouge cop, Seldina did like bad cops but after her introduction, she would tone it back somewhat until she knew these people better.
