Kade was born on Coruscant to human mother workings low level bureaucratic job and a Falleen father he never met. As a young lad he refused to accept the fate of a planet dweller for himself and worked hard in school, earning a scholarship to the prestigious Galactic Business School at University of Coruscant. Even with the scholarship, credits were tight and the quest for a decent income stream became an all consuming past time. As luck would have it, he managed to land a side gig working for a group of mercenaries negotiating contracts after a indecent night of drinking at a local establishment. The money was decent and the risk low since no one wanted the negotiator killed.
His final operation with the mercs came in during a job on Ryloth. The squad had been hired to whack a Twi'lek Chief which was an easy enough job in the end, clan wars were always raging. Just as they were about to lift off the new Chief, the dead guys brother, hurried up to the landing ramp with two young females in tow. A bargain was struck and the girls were loaded up with the agreement they would be sold in Hutt Space.
Kade, being a talker and less of a fighter, was the only one of the mercs who took the time to even chat with the terrified sisters. It is doing him a disservice to say he was "smitten", but he certainly found himself attracted to the pretty creatures. While transporting the girls, finds them both attractive and intriguing. Regardless of his feelings, one does not simply try to steal two slaves from a band of mercenaries, this wasn't a holodrama after all. The mercs made Hutt Space, the girls were sold, and galaxy kept on moving.
After this particular operation, Kade decided he had had enough. He took his cut from the sale and returned to his studies, graduating six months later. No sooner had he hit the permacrete after graduation then he was approached by a friend, who had a friend, who was looking to make a small scale film about mercenaries. It was a low budget thriller, hardly even a C rated Holo but someone watching it loved Kade.
Not long afterward he found himself at the centre of an epic Holodrama series, thirteen episodes, widely known as The Great Rathtar Hunt. Kade was very nearly killed during the filming and it wetted his appetite for more extreme films. He quickly made a name for himself as an action adventurer on the holodrama screen, though he was careful to never take any role that portrayed him as either pro-Republic or pro-Sith. This earned him fans all across the galaxy, though primarily in Republic and Independent space.
Through all this success he was never able to forget the two Twi'lek sisters and as his wealth and influence grew he quietly began to make enquiries about their whereabouts. The younger had vanished but he was able to locate the elder sister and procured her freedom through an intermediary. He had expected no thanks, nothing more than perhaps a clean conscience. To his surprise she demanded to meet him regardless.
What followed was a secret so dear to his heart that only a few of his closest staff and friends knew of it. The two, like any good holodrama, ended up falling in love against all odds. What came next would chart the rest of his life.
A year into their secret romance she took ill and not even the finest doctor money could buy was able to save her from a sickness she had obtained while in captivity. She died in his arms while on a trip to Scarif to see a final sunset. Kade was devastated by his failure to save her, despite pouring money into various experimental medical procedures.
Since the peace his financial empire has grown by leaps and bounds. Since the death of his fiancé he has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to try and locate the younger sister and free her as well. Through this all he has never stopped acting and even now is set to begin a new series.
