Both men stand across from each other, referee in the middle, ensuring both are ready for the match. No sooner than he rings the bell, both men launch themselves towards each other, raining down fist after fist into the head of the other - attempting to score a quick victory in this First Blood match. Both men stumble and fall to the ground, but neither of them budge when it comes to swinging their fist at the other. AJ Dixon is able to quickly push Andy Cannon off, and away, from him before getting back to his fist. Cannon is no slouch and he is back on his feet just as quick. After a moment staring at each other, and the crowd cheering on Cannon, the man attacks Dixon fighting him tooth and nail until Dixon is backed into a corner. The advantage doesn’t’ last long, as Dixon quickly reverses and puts Andy into the corner. The crowd boos with each vicious shot Dixon slams into the face of Cannon.
Bodom: How are neither of these men bleeding yet?!
Kingmaker: I have no idea! No idea at all!
Cannon pushes Dixon back and is quickly back on the attack, both men hitting the mat once more. The crowd is growing hot for this match, and both men seem intent on delivering. Their rumbling and rolling lead to them falling outside of the ring, Cannon landing on top of Dixon. The cameras quickly move to get a better angle. Cannon pushes himself off Dixon and begins launching kicks at the man’s midsection, aiming to keep him down. After the fifth kick, Cannon turns and grabs the barricade, hyping up the crowd with a loud roar!
Daniels: Cannon is on fire here tonight! He knows what he wants and that’s the International Title!
Bodom: Uh oh! Cannon better watch out behind him.
As Cannon turns around, Dixon drills him with a big boot to the mush, knocking him back against the barricades. The crowd boos thunderously, and Dixon goes on the attack. Forearm after forearm is smashed into the face of Cannon. Dixon yells out into the crowd, enticing them to boo more, before going back on the offensive. He pulls Cannon back from the barricade and slams him into the ring apron with tremendous force, and then whips him into the steel steps. Cannon groans as he makes contact with the unforgiving steel, immediately gripping his back. Dixon, not wanting to relent, rushes forward and drives a wicked boot into the stomach of Cannon. He kneels down, and grabs the back of Cannon’s head and barks, “YOU ARE GOING TO BLEED FOR PRIMETIME!”, then proceeds to slam his head down on the steps. He rolls back in the ring, and demands the referee go out to check on Cannon.
As the referee begins to head out of the ring, Cannon pulls himself up to the apron. He wipes his head and there is no blood. Dixon is livid in the ring, and immediately steps through the ropes, aiming to drive his foot down on the back of Cannon’s head with a vicious stomp, but before he can, Cannon sweeps his legs from under him - causing Dixon to land on his back with a thud, the unforgiving hard apron as his landing point. Cannon pushes him into the ring and then climbs in himself. Dixon begins climbing across the ring, but a stomp to the back quickly ends his movement. Cannon drops down and forces Dixon’s back to bend and his head to come up before he lays into him with forearms to the head.
Daniels: Cannon is showing an outright vicious streak here. Is he trying to win the title, or just beat down his opponent?!
Cannon slams Dixon’s head down into the mat, and leans against a turnbuckle, preparing to kick Dixon square in the face when he gets up. Dixon moves to all fours, unaware of what’s going on around him. Just as he does, Cannon launches forward and kicks! But wait!
Bodom: BLOODY HELL HE DODGED IT!
Back in the ring, Dixon has surely dodged the giant kick coming his way. Cannon is all turned around, and is now wrapped up in a tight hold by Dixon. Dixon quickly turns forty five degrees, and powers Cannon up and over for a release german suplex. The power behind the move is enough to cause Cannon to flip head over heels and lands chest and stomach first against the turnbuckle belts. The crowd is in quiet awe of the move, before coming together for a “That was awesome!” chant. Dixon pulls himself to his feet and slowly does a three sixty, soaking in the chants, before he blurts out, “NO! THAT WAS PRIME-TIME.” That quickly turns the crowd against him, causing Dixon to burst out into a large smile. He walks towards the turnbuckle and drives his foot into the throat of Cannon, while untying the top turnbuckle. He tosses the padding into Cannon’s face, before leaning down and doing the same with the middle turnbuckle. As he finishes, he stomps back on Cannon and moves away.
Kingmaker: Cannon wants that title around his waist, but it looks like Dixon will do anything to keep it around his own! Those exposed turnbuckles have made numerous competitors bleed!
Cannon pulls himself to his knees using the turnbuckles, and Dixon rushes towards him, aiming to drive his knee into the back of Cannon’s head, forcing him face first into the exposed turnbuckles. Cannon hears the rushing man and moves out of the way, just in time, causing Dixon to crash into the exposed turnbuckles. Cannon is quick on the attack, and pulls Dixon around, and picks him up on his shoulders.
Daniels: He’s going for the cradle shock! He can’t win with a pin, but this will go a long way to getting Dixon out long enough for Cannon to do more damage!
With startling force, Cannon drives Dixon into the mat with a cradle shock. The crowd gasps at the magnitude of it, and begin cheering as Cannon transitions into a full mount.
Bodom: Cannon is giving Dixon the beating of a lifetime!
He begins raining down punches to the upper body and head of Dixon, who vehemently tries to return or block each strike coming down towards him. The crowd is chanting FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, and Cannon is determined to give it to them. He pops off Dixon and begins slamming his feet into the chest of the man, determined to keep him down. Satisfied with his work, he slides out of the ring on the other side and begins fishing underneath it for something.
Bodom: What the hell is he going underneath the ring for?
Kingmaker: First blood match! He is looking for something to bust Dixon open with, is my guess!
Daniels: There are chairs, ladders, lead pipes, and all manner of other weapons down there.
Cannon comes back up with a steel chair and runs his fingers through his hair. He slides in the ring as Dixon is getting to his hands and knees, before a vicious chair shot to the back flattens him. Cannon begins raining down blow after blow, attempting to incapacitate his opponent. Before the chair can fully break, Cannon sets it up, so it’s in a position for someone to be seated in. He grabs Dixon’s head and slams it down into it. He points to the referee and tells him to check him. As he does, Andy Cannon climbs the top rope. The referee bends towards Dixon to check him, and sees no blood. As he comes back up to inform Cannon that Dixon has not yet been bloodied, he finds himself being pushed by Dixon right into Cannon! Cannon drops on the top rope, holding himself up but clearly in pain. The referee drops to the mat.
Daniels: That damn Dixon! Why would he do something that like?!
Bodom: It’s the will to survive! That referee knew the risks of officiating this match! He knew those damn risks.
Both Cannon and Dixon are still a bit worse for wear, trying to get their breath back before continuing. Cannon brings both his feet behind the ropes, and is met with a wicked uppercut from Dixon, in a surprising burst of adrenaline and speed. Cannon is knocked for a loop, but Dixon doesn’t let him fall off the top rope. He has far more nefarious plans in place. He climbs to the second rope and delivers a knee to Cannon’s sternum to keep him dizzy. With some urging, he pulls Cannon to the top rope, forcing him to steady himself. Dixon comes up next. The crowd is on their feet booing Dixon rabidly!
Kingmaker: The way he’s holding him! No! No! No! He can’t be attempting to do that!
Daniels: He’s going for the Mug Shot!
The cameras cut back to the ring just as Dixon leaps, and pulls Cannon down for the Mug Shot, the Leaping Reverse STO! With the way the chair below is set up, and how Dixon performs the move, Cannon goes face first into the steel chair! Both men are down! The referee is down! Cannon isn’t moving! Dixon can be heard breathing heavily!
Bodom: He’s dead! There is no way Cannon survived that move, and if he did survive, there is no way he is not bleeding profusely.
After a couple of moments struggling, and the crowd standing is shocked silence, Dixon attempts to get to his feet. He takes his time gingerly pulling himself up on the ropes. He notices the referee is still down, and stumbles over towards Cannon himself, turning him slightly to check for blood. The look on his face tells the tale! A close up from the camera reveals what he saw! There is no blood! Dixon backs up hastily, absolutely flabbergasted and pissed off. He goes into a rage as he gets to his feet, kicking the ropes and viciously kicking Cannon. The crowd is mocking him every step of the way! He leans against one of the turnbuckles, furious that Cannon isn’t bleeding yet.
Dixon looks back at Cannon, and then reaches into his own wrestling trunks and pulls something out. He grabs one side of it and pulls, revealing it to be a pocket knife.
Bodom: What a crafty bastard the International Champion is! He just pulled out a pocketknife! One way or another, Cannon is going to bleed!
The crowd is booing heavily towards Dixon who drops down beside Cannon and grabs his hair, lifting his head up. With his knife hand, he gestures towards Cannon and screams for him to bleed. He forces Cannon’s head back down and drags the knife along his own palm. He grimaces in pain, but to him, it’s all worth it. With a few flexes of his hand, the blood is coming nicely, and he lifts Cannon back up - dragging his hand down his foes face to smear the blood all over. With that done, he sneaks the knife back in his shorts and uses his non bloodied hand to rouse the referee. Before the referee can rise, Dixon stumbles back into the corner with a smile on his face and his hand behind his back. The referee first checks on Dixon, and sees no blood.
Daniels: CHECK HIS HAND, REF! NO NOT LIKE THIS!
The referee makes his way towards Cannon and turns him over, and sees the mess of blood on his face. The referee immediately calls for the bell.
Morgan: And your winner, and STILL International Champion, A! J! DIXON!!!!!
The referee grabs the belt from ringside and Dixon quickly yanks it from him, being sure to hide his hand behind the belt. He poses over Cannon and climbs the ropes, soaking in the boos of the crowd. He quickly gets out of the ring and heads up the ramp, the victor in his match.
Kingmaker: Absolutely outrageous, Dixon should have lost that match! He was bleeding!
Bodom: Doesn’t matter, the referee didn’t catch it and now the Prime Time International Reign continues! Cannon had his chance, he had his moment, but Dixon was too good, too smart, and Cannon came up short.
Daniels: Disgusting, of course you’d like it.
Bodom: Damn right I do! That was brilliant!
