Okay. Maybe to explain why the standard clones fighting other playable characters are so bad, maybe the "summoner" in charge of them only gets the defunct clones. That will explain why the entire faction isn't so incompetent that they will instantly crumble to a single person. Then if I send in the more powerful clones at some point, such as the 3/4th dragon, they will be more like actual characters and not employed in mass. Due to their rarity and secretive nature they probably wouldn't do anything anways. Same as the elites. That being said I'll put off even posting their character sheets and just post the ones I'll be using, the defunct group. It will seem like there are a ton of defuncts, but given how many clones are made it's not that high of a percentage at all.

Well, there is also the clone army's future nemesis, presented by half a dozen of vampires and werefolk lodging around several hundred pounds of armor and weaponary, but as my phone still remains my only mean of posting here, that has to wait. I might type up a brief, raw CS for one character though.

Against them there will be enough clone bodies to fill a landfill.

Speaking of them, that reminds me that I need to add that they and the original Evvie can't be turned into vampires or werewolves.

How pedantic

can you introduce characters who are above the tier cap but only act indirectly?

Factions are nice, but they are backdrop characters and support for the main character which should be you, they are not relevant and are expected to die horrible deaths in the course of the role-play. Hence their status as non critical characters. They should never be the focus of your fights, and should never take precedence over two critical characters in a fight.

Now I'll have to think of the commander guy. He should be a bad guy so we can have more bad guys, or at least an anti-hero. He might have a personal grudge against vampires/werewolves to further cement that rivalry. I'll try to come up with him today and use him as my character of the day in my character thread. I suppose you want his defunct clones posted in his sheet rather then as a separate sheet? After all, they are his "summons".

Just keep in mind, i like messing around with my characters, so they wont be the "classic" werefolk and vampire kin. More like magic powered humans with certain vampiric traits or the ability to "feralize" onself, changing their man/animal ratio. So i dont think i'll include the ability to infect, nigh-immortality, weakness to silver/stakes and ect..

I just pointed out that ImportantNobody doesn't have to explain Eevie's immunity to transformation, as my characters wont be able to infect her, while adding some additional info as well.

I assume they're intermediate in power? I would think my guy should be able to take on...maybe...1/4 of that group by himself for it to be a fair fight? That way you can still overcome him if you get your entire group on him, but he wouldn't be so weak that if one gets through then he's a goner. He'll need his clones support to hold them off to try and fight your group in as small amounts as possible. I think that would make it the best battle.

I'll still point it out for future reference.

They're at the brink of intermediate and high, able to dish out a sword slash at Mach 1 speeds without charging, but quite equipment-dependant at the same time, so i'll be able to scale them down to mid-intermediate at least by stripping them of armor and most of their tech.

And it's not like im hellbent at throwing all of them into combat at once. In fact, 2-3 fighters is just enough for me.

That means I must make my guy considerably powerful if I'm to fight an entire group of them fairly. Looks like he'll need to bring an entire army with him as well. I wonder why he'd be using defunct clones if he's that powerful? It could lead to some interesting backstory.

EDIT: But if he's too strong then he can't really fight anyone else. Hmm...

I assume that it is legit to temporarily weaken or empower one's character in order to make a fight even. If that is true, then have him gobble up a bunch of steroids! :D
