However, on the self destruction:
That was a bit petty, I'll be honest. That wasn't really strategic self destruction, more like suicide bombing yourself to survive another person's attack because you didn't want them to win.

It was actually Bloodshot you fought last time. He's not in the NMV. I can understand the confusion though, since they're very similar characters who have essentially the same armor, just with a different power source. I like my fantastical tech to have as much basis in reality as possible, hence my extensive use of carbon nanofibers in the equipment of a fair number of my characters (though I think only two of the ones who use it are actually posted here at the moment).

It's not MY fault you can't figure out that catching her unaware would have been a big fuck-you to the whole spellcasting thing. Don't be upset because you had no choice but to suicide bomb to win. Keep the pressure on, don't stop attacking, stop her from finishing her spells.

Literally... fire off a time delay attack, or a homing rocket or something... something that she can't just dodge and resume incantations. It's NOT that fucking hard. To outright dodge a homing rocket (with smart-targeting, which I would think a half-mile tall doomtank would have somewhere... but you just stated the missiles rained down death), for example... I would have to bur nothing but perfect dodges the entire time... and have no room to attack. Then, when out of motes of essence, I am fucked.

On the flipside... if I chose to attack, I'd take a few homing rockets to the brainium in order to do so.

I decide to sacrifice my mecha (which Edmund is very capable of fighting without) to mash you, and you guys question the tactical value of it? A move that meant a safe and rapid escape. We're at the point of the discussion where I'm not sure what you guys are arguing about anymore. Did you have any issues with the attack? Because Genocide is fucking crazy, and would probably waste a barrage of missiles on a rabbit out in a field if he felt like it. So I'm sticking by that. You guys did read the post though, right? In detail? About how he's not actually aware of the fact that Ysolda and Erde is still alive? That he's required elsewhere? He doesn't care about money. Paradiso is stinking rich. Like, insanely so. 13 trillion is but a drop of water in an ocean of wealth. He's a loose cannon, suicidal bastard. Jesus, you get the picture. If you can justify your character killing himself, I can justify mine blowing up a mecha.

I'd be happy to attempt a big cinematic fight with Ysolda once I get my new high tier character submitted and approved. I love the cinematic stuff myself, though haven't really tried to focus on it in a fight as of yet.
