I actually had a discussion like this with a girl in high school who was addicted to some kinda drug. She fell for it 100%.

Its totally unrelated but she wound up in rehab so long she didn't actually graduate.

Yeah, that seems like the most likely drug. Cheap and dangerous. Can't help but wonder what that shit does to your brain. I'd never do drugs, avoid that shit like the fucking pox. The permanent mental and sometimes physical damage that comes from them is way too much of a risk compared to the benefits.

That and I have an addictive personality.

PCP is a hell of a drug. I'll admit to doing a few drugs in my day... smoke pot now and then, did shrooms, LOVE Ecstasy and Dilauded, and snorted coke a couple times. That said, it comes down not only to how addictive the drug is, but also how addictive a personality one has. Pot isn't 'addictive', persay... but the rest of those things are quite easy to get hooked on. Dilauded is the most expensive of the bunch... get too far on that shit and you'll wreck yourself trying to get more. I'll never do shrooms again, as the batch I had was laced, I think. Worst trip ever.

But I made a promise to my mom years ago to never make the mistakes she did. Took to drugs young, almost died because of a very bad trip, got off of them but got into smoking. She became a bad alcoholic before she met my grandfather. (I was adopted by my grandmother, I called and still do call her my mother.) She got off of drinking but smoked until she was 58. She stopped smoking after that.

I have never touched a cigarette, never tried drugs, and I've never liked the taste of alcohol. I'm a man of my word if nothing else.

Eh. I think to swear off all that is both good and bad. Personally, I enjoy a drink now and then, have a cigar when among friends, and again... occasionally smoke a little pot. Good on you for standing true to your convictions, but I think living a little wouldn't hurt you.

As for the post, you could edit in a short timeskip. With all the charms I used, she'll still take approximately two hours to be back to full health. Could find her as that time is winding down, and then I could go from there. That said, she's also pretty low on Essence, so she'll definitely have to take it easy for a few days to be back up to full power. That's another drawback of her... how long it takes to recharge her power.

Oh! Quick question. Do I edit my character profile when it comes to permanent scarring such as blindness? I mean, it goes without saying, but editing a profile after acceptance does look jiffy.

Editing; Oh and alcohol is meh. You can spend an equal amount of money on something else and generate better results of entertainment. Which is not to say I don't drink. It's not too shabby to indulge upon it every once in a while.

I live off of natural sensations more than anything, I'm a chef. It's what enthralls me the most, the smell of what I'm cooking and the accompanying drinks. And unfortunately, every time I get into anything physical (not sexual, that's none of y'all's business.) I wind up getting hurt in some way shape or form.

Not that it stops me, but it happens every time.

The thumb thing is totally unrelated to the physical harm thing.

Though it is physical harm.

Oh you know... skydiving without a parachute, Bungee-jumping with live cobras in your harness, rally-racing with a mandrill as your navigator, olympic swimming in an alligator bog... the usual physical adrenaline-junkie stuff.

I meant general strength training, the occasional fight with a family member, being a show off. Don't have the money or drive to go out and do anything like that.

I was just about to ask whether or not you had ever attempted spiritual enlightenment, then I realized how silly that sounded, so I didn't. Regardless, such yields interesting physical sensations (but mostly mental) - You should try it out sometime, if you're into that kind of stuff.

If I had the patience, drive, and mental stability to do so? Yeah, I'd probably go ahead and do it.

But I've got none of those things. That and anything religious, spiritual, and magical all give a bad taste in my mouth due to childhood experience.
