A ship popping its big metal head into a fight that, honestly, I've been waiting for longer than I've been in this roleplay.

It would interrupt the fight entire, like, powerful interrupt.

Look man, not sure what you want me to do. Garrett is bound and determined to rescue Freedom. Now, if Khanza and Fury leave their ship and leave Freedom on, Garret can blow it apart and rescue him, then be on his merry way. That would leave ships as fluff, let you have your fight, and complete Garrett's mission, allowing him to refocus on returning home and going inactive/defending it while I introduce a more playable character. Sound good to everyone?

Not really, there's a powerful meta-story you'd be interrupting without a fight.

I'd hate to have the last month of Fury's posting be rendered completely void like that.

It's also meta-gamey as fuck, what exactly is your character doing about the Giant Bear eating people in the city? Does he somehow understand bear customs?

I'm more concerned about the fact that: "How is he aware that Fury and Khazna have Freedom?"

Also, Sukoh stopped doing anything after the fight. Napping in the streets and all that.

That's also true. Of course, all this could be rendered completely void by Khazna trolling and saying Freedom is already long gone, because he was originally intended to be placed in Fury's spaceship. (not literally his, but whatever.)
