I don't see that would have even happened, as you would of course have to be biting him at an angle. Which anything means your jaw get's pushed down to the side, not closed inward.

Alright, let me lay it out for you.

Sukoh was facing towards snar, snar charged Sukoh and Sukoh landed on top of him.
Snar's head is in Sukoh's chest.
Sukoh bends his neck downwards and grabs onto his hindquarters.
Snar elbows him in the jaw, Sukoh's head is almost half the size of Snar.
Snar's elbow would have hit him in the bottom of the jaw, no matter what side he hit it from. The blow to his jaw would CLOSE his mouth tighter.
