{Personality}
Arla is very much a young, naive girl in most aspects of how she acts. Often enough wearing her heart on sleeve, it isn’t overly difficult for one to figure out how she feels about them, or how she is feeling about the current situation. She has a typically excitable nature and is a rather smart young girl. Although her temper is equally easy to see flare up, as she has a rather short fuse on an anger that burns hot for a very long time. Arla is slow to forgive someone for angering her, and she makes it clearly known when she is angry with somebody. Her emotions tend to cloud her rational thought rather easily, and the girl will not hesitate to act upon her emotions. Arla is also vehemently against being forced to do something because ‘its her place’ or any sort of destiny. She hates the idea that she was put on this plane of existence for a specific purpose and instead would rather cast those shackles off and carve her own place in life.
Inwardly, Arla is a rather lonely individual. Due to how she was raised, she craves the attention and affections of others. No matter how she must go about obtaining those affections, she craves the idea that somebody loves her the way she was lacking for most of her life. She is very naive and overly trusting towards others who seem to be wanting to do something to help her, or are at least being nice to the young dragon. She has a few fears, mostly relating around abandonment, as she has a dark thought in the back of her mind that her mom did abandon her. Another of her fears being that of close spaces, due to the treatment she experienced while captured by humans during one of her various outings into the world. The girl also has a seemingly random hatred for minotaurs, and refuses to illuminate why she hates the creatures so vehemently.

{Place of Origin}
Arla of the Black Flame was raised among the dragons, despite being born from a dragon slayer mother. She was raised within the estate of one of the contenders for the Dragon Throne, Deimros. Her father being none other than Deimros himself. Despite this, the young girl was not raised as any sort of nobility. More as a servant, with very little rights and as a sort of abomination by the other dragons. Though her father constantly deceived her into thinking she was doing what was right. Arla received training in various subjects, such as combat and statesmanship so she could one day take her place as Queen. A queen under the thumb of her father. She had her ‘guards’ though they were more seen as handlers to a disgusting abomination. As such, the girl would periodically act out against her father just to earn some form of attention.
{Background}
Being born as the result of a brokering of peace between the forces under the Great Dragon Deimros and the dragon slayers, Arla was never destined to have what could be described as a perfect like. Taken from her mother mere moments after she was born to be raised among the dragons, Arla never knew what it would be like to have a mother. She grew up in her father’s estate, constantly being told to do what she was told. Of course, her father twisted her young mind to make her think that her treatment and everything he gave her was because he loved her. His lies innumerable in order to ensure her blind obedience and loyalty. Throughout the years she was trained in various aspects of life she would need; combat, statesmanship, the likes in order to one day take a spot she was assured to be hers as the Queen. Of course, this would be a queen under the thumb of her father who would be controlling her every move from the background. At the estate, she was also treated as less than the other dragons that lived there by many of those living there. As she was seen as some abomination, a thing that was three-quarters dragon and only one-quarter human. A truly despicable little existence. Yet this jealousy and treatment only grew worse over the years as it was revealed that she was one of the fabled black dragons, with her scales and such being as black as midnight. This further showing whenever she was learning magic, and all her fire spells held the same coloring as her scales and burned hotter than those of other dragons.
For years this cycle continued, until a visitor arrived at her father’s estate that would go on to change the future of that world. A female, who had small horns atop her head, a tail unlike those of the dragons, yet with oddly draconic eyes. She bore with her an oversized axe as her weapon, and carried herself into the estate with nary a hint of unease despite not having alerted the lord to her arrival. Yet none of the guards dared move on her, her presence inspiring more fear within them than what their master would do later. Arla knew not what this woman wanted, as she simply watched from afar while the being had a meeting with her father in his private chambers. When she left, the signs of a changing future quickly became apparent to the young girl. Her father announcing that plans had changed, and that they now had a way for the dragons to reclaim the power that had been so wrongfully stolen from them all those years ago. In the next few months, various other dragon clans began to visit her father as they planned for some great war against the Dragon Slayers. While Arla herself was given the specific mission of finding and assassinating a single target in the war. A slayer named Avelith, who apparently had some sort of information that could be used to defeat the dragons in the coming war.
On the day of the battle, everything was chaos as blood was shed, until the dragons enacted their masterplan. A spell which they learned from their visitor herself, one which would rid the world of those damned slayers. Despite this, her prey had managed to get away from her in the chaos of the fighting. When she returned home, her father’s orders changed from having to kill the woman she was sent after. Instead, she was tasked with finding this woman and following along with her. Reporting back on whatever worlds she visited, and every bit of information she could get to a new superior. Instead of reporting to her father, Arla was told that she would be reporting in to none other than their visitor. Who was, for some reason, rather interested in learning about the girl’s former prey. Whether it be to ensure the job is finished, or some other nefarious purpose she was not told. Then she was given a story, an identity, of a survivor from the great battle who had been shunted from her home by the massive amounts of power released that day. How she was an innocent creature, who had only been trying to protect a group of innocents caught in the chaos. Then she was sent along her way after her prey, though due to the draconic forces not understanding extraplanar travel in the ways their visitor did, she was instead shunted to a different world and left to her devices. Something Arla hoped would wind up working out in the long run, and allow her to get back on track with her mission...
