Alright I guess the spear hero will be a random guy. I'll think of what he is later.

Alright those who aren't heroes are going to be located in the main hall of the castle with a group of other adventurers, and soldiers. You two can converse among yourselves. For a bit until the heroes get sent to the king in a bit, and then you can choose who you want to follow personally, aside from the spear hero of course.

I'll just get my skills for griffon later- They're going to be black smith skills. I'm thinking just something like Weapon Smiting Bonus, that gives him a boost to weapon making and a skill for enchanting weaponry.

Enchanting is more of a magical niche and your guy doesn't have that much skill in magic just yet that part should come later. It should be available once you blacksmith, and study enough in game.

And I guess I'll be removing Chad in order to make the spear hero. I don't want to simultaneously have three different stories going on. I'll be making the spear hero a girl high school delinquent student for diversity's sake.

@Ogobrogo If she's a former bandit queen then why would she be allowed to openly join the Four Cardinal Heroes in the capital? They need help for sure but with all the nations pitching in this time unlike canon where Melomarc kept them to themselves for the most part. She's probably be arrested more so than allowed to go with four newbie heroes still looking to strap on their boots. She's clearly got a reputation and thus be well known enough for guards to recognize her, more so she'd probably be above level 10 if that's her backstory.

Alright, so I definitely get your concerns there and after thinking about it for a couple hours, I think I'm just going to scrap that character concept. I did a little more reading through the wiki and while I was playing around with possibility of having her have been arrested and level reset like with Roudy, but given the attitude towards criminals in Melromarc, I can't seem to come up with a satisfying, lore-friendly way of implementing the character.

It's no biggie though - I've got a couple other concepts I was playing with, so I think I'm just gonna flesh one of those out. Won't be able to pitch again until after work in the morning.

Quick question regarding the religion/s of Melromarc as of the start of this thread: is it united under the Church of the Four Heroes, or split into the Church of the Three Heroes and the Church of the Shield?

@OgobrogoIts currently united as the four but the shield will still be looked upon as the weakest. We will soon find out that there's currently a king who's more in power than the queen. Elder Sister died in a coup, and the younger died in a political squabble. Young King, and an older queen guiding him.
