Karena's eyes catch on Alexei walking out of class and frowns after him. A student catches her off guard, and aims a kick for the exposed side of her face, but she dodges the kick and sweeps the other leg, and her leg returns to kick him in the face.

Alexei walks up to the roof

Karena waits for the bell to ring and frowns when she doesn't see Alexei in their next class. What is he doing? He's going to get in trouble.

Alexei sits on the roof smoking a cigarette he knew the monks didn't come up there

When the bell rings Karena goes up to the roof to sketch, her eyes closed and music nearly deafening her. She doesn't see Alexei, and starts to sketch him asleep by the corpse.

Alexei sees the sketch and drops the cigarette " when did you see that? " he says quietly

Karena hears someone talking, pulls an earbud out, and setting the picture down, runs over and stamps the cigarette out. "Aren't you a bit young to be smoking?"

Alexei shrugs" maybe but what I want to know is why are you sketching me next to the man I killed "

Karena frowns slightly. "Is that what you said? Well I'm not typically supervised over what I draw so I just sketch what's on my mind. No one really knows I draw to begin with. And well to be honest, seeing you kill that man made me realize why my mom wanted me to be away from my father, so I wouldn't have to do what you did. You want to see it?" she holds the sketch out to him.

He shakes his head " no I'm fine and killing him was a choice to make sure he didn't fuck with those kids ...it was also an initiation though " he says saying the last part quietly

Karena sighs. "I know. I heard, and I saw." She tucks the picture to her chest and looks at the picture. Tears slip out of her eyes but she quickly wipes them away.

Alexei nods" whelp I have an appointment at a tattoo shop so I best be going " he says and steps down

"Oh no you don't," Karena catches him by the wrist. "Aren't you supposed to have adult consent to get a permanent tattoo?"

Alexei rolls his eyes " I don't have parents so no" he says and rips his arm out of her grip

She coughs as she shivers. "Wish there was some fucking Tylenol here." she muttered. Covered in tons of blankets.
