Several paragraphs if given enough to write with.
Do you enjoy writing collaborative posts for things like conversations, combat, etc.?
Oh yes, that's why I'm here!

As long as the grammar isn't terrible. I would say depth of writing is helpful, but not necessary.

I'm excited to explore fight scenes and flying combat scenes.
Is there anything you really dislike and want to avoid like the plague?
I think fighting strange alien monsters for no point would be something I'd try and avoid.
Is there something you are uncomfortable with happening to your character?
I'd prefer for him not to die but pretty much anything else goes... I think!
Do you have any short-term or long-term goals with this character?
I'd like my character to work towards his Jedi Ace speciality.

Detailed appearance. Imagery insufficient.
At 6"4, he was one of the taller humans of the Order. A relatively muscular built, he was very agile and light on his feet, an uncanny blend of strength and speed. His thick brown hair was often kept short, but with enough length to style. It was usually styled into a comb over fade. His pale clean shaven face is often smiling, his bright blue eyes a symbol of his calm and tranquil nature, peering either side of a larger nose. He would often wear white Jedi robes with a brown cloak.
Report on natural ability with the Force, as well as all known Force Techniques and the skill level.
Limited natural ability with the force manifested and was brought to the Jedi at a young age. Seems to have a naturally strong affiliation with Force Speed. Also has a strong affiliation with Force Sight and Precognition. Results of these natural affiliations are considered 'heightened Jedi Reflexes'. He was top of his class for the above skills. Only other strong Force skill is Force Jump. For the most part, all other skills are marginally above average. These include, Telekinesis, Force Throw, Telekinetic Defence, Force Sense.
Report on skills not directly rooted in the Force, including level of skill
Excellent pilot, one of the best in the Jedi Order. Naturally talented and with lots of training, he could go on to be the best pilot in the Order. Keen interest in mechanics of his ship with intermediate knowledge. Has visited multiple mechanics and received brief training on maintenance and upgrades.
Report on known combat experience, training and lightsaber training.
Trained by the Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan to use a saberstaff. As a result has basic understanding and training in all forms of lightsaber combat. Intermediate training in Soresu and Ataru
Detailed notes on political influence and associates.
Unwavering loyalty to former master, Satele Shan. As he was inducted into the Jedi Order at 2 years of age, he has grown up under the house. As such, the Jedi Code is engrained into him and he couldn't support any other political group as strongly as he does the Order.
Detailed notes on known rivals and enemies, outside and within the Order and Republic.
Xandu Iyope Sith that killed Rihm-Nah Toluuk

Feels responsible for the death of his friend Rihm-Nah Toluuk
Personal biography, as detailed by the candidate for use in Jedi archives. Acquired shortly after last achievement of note.
Ellicas was a youngling initiate at 2. As a result, he never knew his parents and had never met them. He quickly became friends with Rihm-Nah Toluuk, a Naurotan a year younger than him. They often worked together as Younglings and Initiates during their training. Ellicas excelled at pilot skills and he also showed good promise during Meditation.
He past initiate trials with relative ease at 12. The Trial of Wisdom was relatively easy for him. He had learned about the Code everyday while he was a Youngling and mediated every morning and every night. At the start of the Trial of Skill, Ellicas discreetly asked for two crystals and built himself a white saberstaff with blue blades. A fairly simplistic design, but fully functional and impressive (so he thought). It bore no intricate designs on the handle, but had a three pronged emitter on either end. The trial of insight was the only one he considered himself struggle with. He solved a relatively straight forward judicial case. He thought it was so straight forward that he almost second guessed himself. But he held true to his beliefs and training and passed the trial. Although he's not certain, he believed building a saberstaff for his trials resulted in Jedi Knight Satele Shan electing to take him as her Padawan. And he was extremely humbled and honoured that she selected him.
As an Initiate, Ellicas had always been quite shy. As his training progressed under Master Shan, she explained that confident in one's self is often key the key to success. By no means was over-confidence ever going to a problem, but under Satele's supervision and careful guidance, he began to grow more confident in his own abilites.
During his first few years with Satele, she aided her Padawan in improving his lightsaber skills. She was one of the very few Jedi to have mastered all 7 forms of lightsaber combat. Ellicas and Satele frequently trained together and Ellicas even spent time practising when he was supposed to be resting. He was eager to prove himself to his master, she was a proven warrior and he wanted to be worthy of her tutelage. As a result of her teaching, Ellicas has a more than basic level skill in all forms of lightsaber combat. His formal training, however, focused more on Soersu and Ataru, to which he eventually progressed to intermediary level.
His master also encouraged Ellicas to practice flying while he was not with her. As a highly regarded Jedi Knight, there were often meetings of the Council and her presence was required rather frequently. During this 'downtime', Ellicas was permitted to practice flying and visit local mechanics to develop his natural talents further. It was during this downtime that his aptitude for flying took off. By the time his training with Master Shan had finished, it was clear to everyone that knew Ellicas that he was an excellent pilot and would one day be a Jedi Ace.
At 19, Master Shan and Ellicas were assigned a mission to accompany Master Kyliam Viran and his Padawan Rihm-Nah Toluuk. Whereas Satele and Ellicas were considered Guardians, Master Viran and Rihm-Nah were both considered Consulars. Just as Ellicas wanted to become a Jedi Ace, Rihm-Nah was aiming to become a Jedi Researcher, like his Master. While on the mission to retrieve a Sith Artifact, they were attacked by two Sith Lords, Vasloth Tehrani and Zorag Kalanitini and their apprentices, Omi Hal-Dron and Xandu Iyope. They, too, were after the Sith Artifact. Picking their targets according to skill, the Sith Lords attacked the Jedi Masters so the Sith apprentices could focus on their Padawans, Omi attacking Ellicas and Xandu attacking Rihm-Nah. Master Shan was defending herself competently against Kalanitini's two red blades, whereas Master Viran struggled slightly against Tehrani. He got cut with a lightsaber which left a deep injury on his right leg and a slice on his left forearm. Just as the Sith Lord prepared to land the killing blow, Toluuk blocked the attack. With Master Viran unable to stand, the odds were know against them. The remaining Jedi formed a barrier around Master Viran but were now outnumbered. With occasional assistance from her padawan, Grand Master Shan managed to hold her own against the onslaught of three Sith blades, and even managed to wound one of her foes. Unfortunately, with so many blades flashing and slicing through the air in such close proximity, Rihm-Nah got stabbed in the stomach by Xandu, falling next to his injured Master. Master Shan, however, killed Vasloth Tehrani, causing the two apprentices and the injured Zorag to flee.
Shortly after his 20th birthday, Master Shan deemed Ellicas ready to become a Jedi Knight, thus informing him of her intent to put him forward to the Council, having deemed him passing the Trial of Knighthood. The Trial of Skill had been passed when he held his own against a Sith, arguably bettering his opponent had the companions not been struck down. That fateful and unfortunate event also allowed him to pass the Trial of Courage, has he had no fears in taking on the Sith that confronted them. As his long time friend was killed in the incident, he also passed the Test of Flesh. He had meditated for 6 days after the passing of his friend and found peace in the fact that his oldest classmate was now one with the Force. During this time meditating, Master Shan supervised as Ellicas looked deep in himself to face his fears and demons. Despite no outward appearance of struggle, he did find a demon in there and bested it, with some difficulty. Emerging on the other side was one of his personal achievements that he was most proud of. Accordingly, he passed the Trial of Spirit.
The final test was his Trial of Insight, for which Master Shan had prepared a special trial for her wannabe Jedi Ace padawan. She had organised for Ellicas to travel through an asteroid field he'd never seen before. For a normal pilot this would be difficult, but for a Jedi pilot, it was less difficult. Anyone with intentions of being a Jedi Ace should be able to negotiate an asteroid field. But this wasn't a normal test, this was a Trial. He got given a helmet, similar to one he'd worn as an Initiate during the lightsaber training. He'd have to go through the asteroid field using the Force and not his eyes. He was slightly concerned, but unfazed regardless. He knew his Master wouldn't send him on this trial unless he was ready. Master Shan believed Ellicas was ready, so Ellicas himself believed the same. They took a ship to Prakith and flew to somewhere between Prakith and N'Zoth, the neighbouring planet. Sat before them was a large asteroid field known as the N'Zoth/Prakith asteroid field. From where Satele and Ellicas were, it was an estimated 400 km journey to the other side. With his visor pulled down, he waved to his Master and pressed on with his journey through the asteroid field. It was a long and painstaking journey, requiring him to concentrate the whole time, feeling outwardly with the Force for a prolonged period of time. He made sure not to fly to recklessly or fast. He'd heard plenty of stories of asteroid fields and their unpredictable nature. With no incidents to speak of, he reached the other side and cheered in the cockpit of his NovaDive. He sped back around to meet his master, only for her to flash a quick smile at him and for the pair to immediately return to Coruscant. He could sense that something was up, just not what it was.
After 8 years of tutelage under the Jedi Knight Satele Shan, Ellicas was now a Jedi Knight.
As a Knight, he spend many of his early missions escorting cargo ships through dangerous trade routes with a small squad of Republic fighters, the vast majority of which were successful with very few casualties.
