How long do you usually write?
Around one to two paragraphs. It depends on how much is going around me, and if I'm interacting with anyone.
Do you enjoy writing collaborative posts for things like conversations, combat, etc.?
Yes, if I didn't I would just write a book :P
Is grammar and depth of writing important to you?
Grammar is not a big deal as long as I understand what is going on, and I don't know what depth of writing means : ^) #CompSciLife
Are there any writing subjects you particularly enjoy exploring?
Character interaction, moral gray areas, the journey of a character over a period of time.
Is there anything you really dislike and want to avoid like the plague?
Displeasing people! Lemme know if something I do is wrong.
Is there something you are uncomfortable with happening to your character?
Nope, everything is fair in love and war.
Do you have any short-term or long-term goals with this character?
Short-Term: Complete the transport of their Dark-Side prisioner to the maximum security prison.
Long-Term: Wherever the wind takes them. Depending on how the action goes, these two can be one off characters

Detailed appearance. Imagery insufficient.
Owecar is a short 5'6" and weighs a little over 150 pounds. His short and relatively sleek stature allows him to fit the smallest of cockpits and weasel his way into the smaller crevices between ships. While on duty, he always wears the standard Republic uniform, with nothing standing out about it other than his rank insignia.
Report on skills and talents, including level of skill.
- Owecar is an ace pilot, haven proven himself in the Great Galactic war, especially in the Battle of Hoth.
- Owecar's time spent as a youth makes him a decent droid repairsman. He can repair droid that have basic damage in a timely manner, but he has to consult manuals and search the holonet for answers when it comes to more intensive droid care.
- As Owecar works as a team with Essex on repairing and maintain his starship, and knows the difference between his power damper and power modulator.
Report on known combat experience, training and weapons training.
While Owecar has trained with a blaster rifle and pistol, he is far from being adept with them. He barely passed the requirements in the firing range (which may have been fudged due to the need of soldiers at the time) and doesn't own a blaster rifle to this day. He keeps a basic blaster pistol at his side at all times, but it acts only as a last resort, were he to be boarded.
Report on role, specialisation and responsibilities pertaining to the subject’s military deployment.
After his time spent as a pilot in the Galactic War, Owecar switches between piloting Republic transports or flying Aurek Fighters into small skirmishes when the Republic needs to take care of galactic scum.
List and description of other known associates, including subordinates.
T7-E6, or Essex- An astromech droid that Owecar considers one of his best friends. Essex helps Owecar with ship maintenance, navigation, and anything with technology that Owecar can't wrap his head around.
List of known belongings, including but not limited to planetary surface property, civilian and military vessels, vehicles, weapons, tools.
- Owecar flew The Iron Tiss'Shar in the Great Galactic War, but now finds himself going from vessel to vessel nowadays.
- He keeps a blaster rifle on his hip for some personal protection.
- He has owned his astromech droid, Essex, since he was 15.
- He owns the several tools required for ship maintenance, as sometimes the things given to him by the Republic can be of "well worn" quality.
List and description of known and suspected flaws. To be put into restricted database.
Owecar's specialty relies strictly in the sky, and without a ship to fly or a machine to repair, Owecar can offer very little.
Major achievements on record.
Owecar's greatest achievement to date was leading Lima Squadron to take down two high priority Imperial targets in the Battle of Hoth, as well as several other imperial fighter ships.
Major failures on record. Confidential.
Owecar finished his military training with one of the worst accuracy and blaster proficiencies grades in his class.
Personal biography, as detailed by the subject for use in republic archives. Acquired shortly after last achievement of note. Some details may be used for training purposes.
Owecar grew up yearning to pilot his own ship in space. His dreams originated from his drifter father, Lawshaw Reieat, whose only stayed with Owecar and his mother, Celmon Pitfenn, when he needed to lay low from his smuggling jobs. When Lawshaw was around, he would tell his son about the adventures and wonders he experienced in space. The tall tales he spun filled Owecar with awe, much to his mother's dismay. Celmon was a droid repair woman and wanted Owecar to stay on Coruscant with her when he grew up, not be an outlaw like his father. As much as Owecar loved his mother, he would go against her wishes and train to be a space pilot whenever his father was in town.
However, the love Owecar had for piloting didn't detract from his interest with tinkering. Truly being a product of both his mother and father, Owecar loved playing around with machines almost as much as he wanted to fly. He spent most of his youth helping Celmon out in her repair shop and eventually became skilled enough to be one of her employees. When Owecar was 15, Celmon bought a damaged T7 astromech droid for parts. Seeing this droid as an opportunity to test himself and bring him one step closer to becoming a pilot, Owecar begged his mother to let him keep it to try and repair for himself. After staying many nights late to help her out, lots of grovelling, and a well timed Festival of Life gift, Owecar got his wish and was given the droid T7-E6, which he affectionately called Essex.
It took Owecar two years to make Essex fully functional. This was due to a combination of trying to get familiar with the droid and getting the right parts. But after getting the right perception filaments, Essex was fully online and functional. The two became close quickly, as a young boy would with a new pet. With his astromech fully repaired, Owecar was determined to start his piloting career as soon as possible.
Owecar was limited in the options to make himself a career pilot. One was to start from scratch, buy his own ship and try to sell his services to anyone who he could find. The second was to join an already established ship's crew, hoping one day to reach the rank of pilot. His final option was to enlist in the Republic Navy, where he would get plenty of time in the sky during the Great Galactic War. After a bit of internal debate, Owecar decided the best way to fly in space was to enlist himself into the Republic Navy.
Owecar's mother was not a fan of his plans to join the Navy to say the least. After he that he enlists without telling her, the two got into a huge argument, ending with Owecar storming out of his former home. To this day, he still hasn't returned to talk to make amends with his mother. Relations with his father weren't much better, as he stopped coming by their home since Owecar received Essex. With no one keeping him tethered to Coruscant, Owecar began his training for the Republic Navy immediately.
Owecar's training was quick, but effective. Due to the combination of the Republic needing pilots and him having a knack for flying, Owecar was approved to fly for the Republic in a little under two years. His first missions were nothing special, a few escort missions here, carrying some cargo there, just rookie level stuff. But the monotony of his work stopped when all available republic pilots were ordered to go to the nearest military base and be ready for the biggest fight of their lives. That fight being The Battle of Hoth.
Owecar was put into the hastily made Lima squadron, made of who was available at the time. Thrust into the heat of battle, Owecar flew an A-wing and more than proved his worth in battle. After an early death of the Lima squadron leader and no chain of command to follow, Owecar took over as the leader and dealt a heavy blow to Imperial forces. Owecar's slick dogfighting skills and leadership led to shooting down the Deference and Storm Fire.
While the overall battle was considered a loss by the Republic, Owecar's achievements were taken note of. He was quickly granted the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. Owecar's piloting skills only continued to grow after that, and with the help of Essex keeping his ships in top condition, Owecar was able to fight in the Galactic War numerous times.
Owecar was repairing his ship from a recent battle when the Sacking of Coruscant occurred. He wonders to this day whether or not his presence in the battle would have helped stop the Imperials or just get him killed.
After the Treaty of Courscant, Owecar figured his dog fighting days to mostly be over. He wasn't happy about the treaty and the probable return to menial work that it entailed, but Owecar eventually found the little things in the tasks he was given to enjoy. He was still flying, and that was all that mattered to him.
