I'm just gauging interest for an idea I've had floating around my head for awhile. Basically it's an episodic RP revolving around two factions with time travel technology. The first faction, the antagonists, for some reason to be determined by the plot are seeking to alter major historical events for their benefit. The second faction is assigned to follow the first faction in order to prevent them from making such changes to the established historical time line in order to prevent disaster in the present day(you know, because of all the paradoxes and stuff).
This would obviously be a darker RP with a lot of gritty scenarios thrown in and possibly plenty of violence as well. The time periods/events visited would obviously change each episode as well. For characters I'm thinking well-balanced teams of specialists from varying fields. A person could even create multiple characters, especially if they intend to kill any off. Players could also even come and go as it's episodic in nature.
Anyway, may be a better idea in my head, but I'd love to try it. I have a fascination with both history and all the time travel paradoxes we so often see in fiction written about the subject.
