"Indeed, my love." Ivy pecks his cheek and goes to the kitchen, bustling to prepare dinner.

Arthur nods and begins to swing the pick with a vengeance at the ground

Winter whistles quietly at his anger, shoveling the loose parts away. 'What did the ground ever do to him?' 'I did tell him to release his anger.' 'Breaking news from the weather station. Watch out for random streaks of lightning as teenage boy has temper tantrum, releasing his wrath upon the world upon request.'

Ivy finishes supper, and changes into a cropped sweatshirt with athletic leggings and white tennis shoes. She jogs into the living room from her room, putting her hair up in a ponytail. "Ready, Jacob?" She puts the dinner in a pot and puts it in the fridge. A note on the counter reads 'DINNER IN FRIDGE IN BIG POT- Ivy'.

Jacob calls down" yeah" he walks downstairs in some sweatpants and a white t-shirt

Arthur keeps hitting the ground

Winter pulls her shirt over her mouth, having had developed an allergy to dust. She shovels the pieces away into a wheelbarrow.

Arthur wipes the sweat off using his shirt and keeps digging

Winter coughs quietly, using her shoulder to wipe the sweat stinging her eyes.

Arthur sees winter coughing and summons a light drizzle so that the dust settles down

Ivy shrugs. "You were taking too long," she teases, grinning cheekily. "My lady," she bows, holding her hand out.

Winter uncovers her mouth to give Arthur a small appreciative smile. "Thank you," she sneezes.

Ivy squeaks in surprise when he picks her up, closes the door behind them, then starts laughing. "You don't know where to go, do you?"

Winter sniffles, returning to her work. After a while, she suggests a water break.

Ivy smirks in satisfaction. "Just go straight for now."

Winter sits down and tosses him a bottle of water. She gulps down some water, then pauses, unable to keep the question dancing around her skull down much longer. "Why?" she asks softly, cautiously, staring towards the pick, slightly damaged from his powerful swings.

Arthur looks at her after taking a long drink of water " why what? "

Ivy cuddles into his chest slightly. "Right."

Winter looks at him, a little nervous, looks at her hands, then closes her eyes. After a deep breath, she opens her eyes and slides them to his, any hint of nerves, apprehension, fear, gone. "Why were you, are you, so angry? You don't have to answer," she says quietly.

Arthur drinks some more water" I'm angry because Devon has the nerve to threaten someone I care about in front of my face then expects me to agree " he says drinking some more water

"I'm planning on having the point spiral out from the inside edges to form a point, which will disable the blow-dart once activated, but will hurt like hell."

Adam wiggles his eyebrows goofily. "Oh? Care to share with the class?" he asks, slipping out of his seat. He traps her against the table with an arm to either side of her and leans in with a smirk. His eyes dance darkly. "Anything I might want to know for," he leans in, breath ghosting across her ear, "future use?"
