That’s fine! I’m staying with my in laws right now and haven’t had access to WiFi, so I can’t write yet. Tomorrow is probably the soonest I’ll be able to get any posting done, if I find the time.

So I did a scientific experiment today after lunch. I wasn't quite sure why I felt drunk until I realised there was a lot of brandy in the mince pie I just eaten lol. XD

I think its added after in the butter cream and stirred in rather than cooked in the minced fruit.

That's fun. We're staying with my parents until Sunday and then heading home. Everyone else also left recently, so I can start working intermittently on my next post now! I should be able to get it done tonight.

I had a small idea on how to drag the story out further, across decades even to bring it to the present. Maybe by first delaying Victoria's transformation for a year or so if she goes missing at the Wynter's hands to keep her away from Vail. Then when she is a vampire, she'll live for a very long time working for The Order and she could even take over in the future. Then there is the question of Vail and Victoria standing the test of time, maybe have children.

All of that sounds good to me. If we do a year long time skip, how/where are you thinking we should pick it back up? And would we still have her be turned the same way as we planned (injured in the fight against the Wynters; Vail turns her to save her)?

I also enjoy having a main conflict/antagonist to keep things interesting, so do you have any ideas for something like that when we move forward? I was thinking the feud with the Wynters could escalate somehow, since I can't imagine that they would give up after their plan to use Victoria is foiled. That, and/or maybe a new threat could rise up, maybe a power-hungry clan from the European mainland? Just some ideas to consider ^^

I think we'll stick to the original transformation plan for Vail to do it to save her.

There could be many new threats from vampire hybrids, werewolves, witches etc. Always something new being evolved and developed. Then of course the enemy of human intelligence and advanced technology being kept up with.

Okay! And I also just had a thought that we could even include some minor conflicts with infamous serial killers. It could be interesting to throw Jack the Ripper into this, with a twist that he wasn't actually human or something like that.

I did think he was a cannibal myself if he had removed organs, he may have eaten them. But we can make him whatever best fits his psychopathic nature.

That's what I was thinking too. There's a creature called a Wendigo that eats human flesh, so he could have been one of those. I'm also fine with deciding on a race later

It's one thing to bring her back to the manor but to sleep with her under his father's roof is a very big rebellion.

Vail definitely wasn't thinking about his father when he did that xD Not that it would have changed anything though, since he's been getting fed up with being told what to do when it comes to his love life.

If Diana gets to the Hygrace manor before Vail leaves, I figure he'll ask her how Victoria is doing rather than run off to find her.
