Auriole is silent, her breathing quiet. She watches Elias, and would watch him until he got back to the camp.

Elias stands up and stretches then practices some of his new spells . Using one of his shurikans he cuts his hand barely wincing then closing his eyes in concentration he swipes his hand palm pointing down and shards of hardend blood shoot out in a semi circle around him from the ground .

Auriole’s eyes widen in wonder as she watches. “Guess I’m not the only freak here,” she muses to herself, just loud enough for her own sensitive ears.

Elias signs and swipes his hand again causing the blood to liquify and he sits back down. He begins doing the journal part of his spell book .

Auriole watches, intrigued by Elias’ strange magic. She doesn’t notice a piece of bark digging into the soft pads of her forelimbs hard enough for two red drops to squeeze through.

Elias senses the blood and twitches a finger causing them to fly out a bit then congeal as two floating spikes pointing at her . "Whos following me?" He said and looked around

Auriole, still in beastgirl form, stiffens when she sees the spikes point at her. She sucks on her paw to stop the bleeding and silently runs off to hide. She hopes to keep her eyes on him without him catching wind of her.

Elias sighs when he doesn't get a answer and twitches his finger again the blood spikes falling to the ground as a liquid again . " great I'm being followed and don't know who it is. " he mutters then gets an idea. Closing his eyes and concentrating he reaches out with his mind to sense anything's heart beat.

Auriole had steadied her breathing, but her heart pounds quickly in her ears as she watches. She scrunches her face in concentration, trying so hard to get back to her human form. She quietly takes deep breaths, attempting to calm herself down.

Elias hears a fast heartbeat and runs to it tackling the source

Auriole had begun shifting back when she was tackled, covering her again in fur. She makes a small noise of surprise when she was tackled, then she lets out a feral snarl and rams her back into a nearby tree, then she circles her attacker, haunches raised and growling.

Elias had his shurikan out and multiple shards of blood until he saw who it was . " goddamn you scared me" he grumbles " why were you following me? "

Auriole realizes that he knows who she is, and she widens her eyes. “You can’t tell anyone,” she says quietly then she sighs. “I never feel comfortable when the group splits up, and I wasn’t about to leave you to be alone. I.. I don’t know why but I can’t.”

Elias sighs and puts his shurikan up" don't worry I won't tell anyone you're a beastperson" he says" what did you see when you were watching me? " he says

Auriole shrugs. “Magic. Enough to know your weird as well,” she teases with a smile.

The corners of elias's mouth turn up a little " that's true I am weird " he says then nods" also I'm going to assume you saw my book well I'm going to let you know even if you try to read it and trust me people have it always appears blank to people the old man I made a deal with made sure of that . "

Auriole smiles faintly. “Then I guess it’s a good thing I don’t know how to read,” she says lightheartedly, trying to make a joke. She frowns as she thinks over her last statement. “That wasn’t very funny was it?”

Elias looks at Auriole surprised " you don't know how to read? " he says

Auriole raises an eyebrow, as if the question is stupid and the answer obvious. “Well you kind of have to have someone who can read to teach you how. I was born and raised in a secluded beastperson clan in the mountains, so no I can’t read.”
