Her body felt rather heavy, as if it were being weighed down by something. What, specifically, she couldn't tell. Katherine blinked her eyes open and looked around, only being able to make out the fact that she was in a tiny, enclosed space. Her heart rate picked up, and she thought about what might have led her to end up in such predicament. It was then the memories began to slowly resurface, especially the one where she had been placed on a one-way trip to the Locke facility. But it was odd that she was awake...and alive.

Katherine attempted to push against the opaque glass a few inches above her, but she could barely move her arms without putting forth a great deal of effort. She flexed her muscles and attempted it again, this time finding it a little easier to move. The woman was expecting some form of resistance against her attempts, but once her palms made contact with the glass, it automatically slid open to the left, exposing her to a brightly-lit room.

The air felt a little colder. Katherine placed her hands over the edges on either side of the coffin-like enclosure and pulled herself up, looking around the large space. The first thing she noticed were the rows of identical pods surrounding hers, all of them evenly spaced apart but none of them opened.

"Hello?"

Katherine waited for a moment, yet she received no response. The situation was a little strange, and so she slowly climbed out until her bare feet touched the cold floor below. The woman had on simple white scrubs, her dark hair falling down to her mid back. She then noticed a door on the far side of the room and quietly walked towards it, some part of her expecting men in black gear making an entrance and either shooting her or placing her in some form of restraint. But as she went on, neither scenario occurred. Katherine eventually reached the double doors, which opened on their own once she was within range. She slowly peeked out into the hall, looking in both directions but finding no sign of life. Figuring by then it was safe enough to walk out, she wondered into the hall to look for anything-or anyone-that might help her figure out what was going on.
