Winter blushes faintly when he brushes her hair out of her face. She sighs. “Let me guess. You get stabbed?” She says drily, trying to hide her true thoughts. ’My kitten, don’t you dare blame yourself. It’s just a horrible coincidence.’ ‘Is it, Bast? My first love gets killed, then he comes back for me to stab his broken heart, also my doing. Meanwhile, the man that made me feel again was kicked out of his family, his purpose, his way of life because of me, and now I get close to someone who literally came back to life just to die again in ‘honor’.’ ’Okay, a really horrible coincidence. Funny, cats are the ones that are supposed to live multiple lives.’

Charlie nods " yup I get stabbed in the back again " he says smiling " but hey I'm already living my afterlife winter I'll have no regrets when I die you on the other hand haven't and I'm hoping when you die the feather of truth seems you worthy to get into your afterlife "

Winter smiles. “That’s funny. I’m told I have a gift for getting people and turtles out of their shells.” She hugs him. “You don’t have to hide. Not anymore.”

Winter smiles a little awkwardly. “Well you said that you use humor and sarcasm to hide your feelings. I’m just saying straight out that you don’t have to. It’s harder, but it’s better to be open with at least one person.”

Charlie nods then smiles wryly and turns into a turtle then retreated into his shell " but I prefer to be closed off it gives me mystery "

Winter laughs and puts Charlie in her lap. She knocks on the shell. “Hello? I’d like to talk to Charlie please,” she jokes.

Charlie turns into human form " he is currently not accepting calls leave a message on the beep " he says jokingly

Winter crosses her arms and pretends to pout. “Not you too! I’m still on hold with Bast!” She blushes a little, as he’d be on her lap.

Charlie chuckles " let me check with him " he gets up and walks into a room then walks out in a black dress shirt,slacks,shoes,and vest with a chainmail tie he also has a nice watch witch he pretends to check and his hair is pulled back into a bun " oh winter hey I was just running my business " while he says this is can't help but give a devilish smile

Charlie smiles then winces and takes the bun out " don't know how you girls can handle that " he said sighing in relief then looks at her again " it's called Valhalla express just talk to me if you want a
free trip to Valhalla " he says smiling

Winter tilts her head, smiling a little. “Yes we girls go through more than you can imagine to get you guys to pay to attention,” she half-jokes. Her smile widens. “Can you really do that?” She gets up and takes the hair tie out of his hands. She conjures a brand new brush from the duat and she begins to brush his hair.

Charlie chuckles and let's winter brush his hair " I mean technically yes I could take you to see it but i would have to protect you from stray spears those things get thrown around all the time "

Winter steps around to face him, frowning thoughtfully as she contemplates his facial structure. She steps around to face his back again and she pulls his hair back into a bun. “Is that tight?”
