It had been a couple of days since Ailin had left her hometown, and though she had yet to miss it, and her family, it was too soon to tell if it would continue to be true. She welcomed the peace, the solitude, and the unfamiliar environment, and it was not to say that she disliked her district, but it had given her the time and the means to ponder over this 'mission' which she had been assigned. She was uncertain if the pondering had helped, however, for it could have just led her to think much too deeply into this phenomenon. What if this answer was much simpler than she thought it was? What if it was right in front of her? How would this 'fifth element' even manifest itself?
The sky was getting dark, and Ailin figured that it was time to find a place to settle in for the night. It would seem that the nearest town was some way off, and she was contemplating on setting up camp in a forested area when she heard what sounded like the shifting of some earth nearby, and went to investigate. She watched from a distance as the young man finished his makeshift shelter, and then as another directly approached it to speak to the first. She could not tell when it came to the latter, but the former, like herself, had visibly been touched by an element. His powers were of earth, and she assumed that he was out travelling with the same goal as hers. She had been by herself for some time, and she finally decided that some company would not hurt.
She walked up to the two as they spoke and took a slight bow. "Good evening, gentlemen. I don't suppose I could share this area for the night? I'll help to fuel the fire that you're building, of course."
