Philosophy: Alton Frey is a deep man of honor and the law - taking things on some occasions literally. Holding both his brother, cousins and siblings and their families to a high standard, in order to improve their lot in Westeros.
Bio: Alton Frey happened to be one the 'younger' brother of Walder Frey from House Frey - having spent his earlier years helping his family manage and run the Twins, writing up laws and rules that helped increase the livelihood of both those crossing their bridge and the smallfolk in their lands. Not to mention, with House Frey as large as always - he set up 'unwritten' rules and boundaries that helped keep everyone from going after each other.
Sadly the relationship of Alton and his brother wouldn't last - as the son of one, was caught pillaging one villager' hut during a drunken rampage. Instead of excusing and paying for his crime, Alton instead decreed they be hanged or 'take the black'. This ended up alienating him from House Frey entirely - since while he wasn't head of the House, he did cause enough trouble among the smallfolk when he informed them of small details and whom might be responsible. In the end, Alton got his way - while also being banished from his home for being a 'rat'.
Granted Alton' reply at such a situation was to call them all 'rats whom ate other rats' - and calling Lord Walder the biggest 'rat' of them all. As it was Alton had thought of spending his time travelling the lands as a hedge knight, and upholding justice. Although, before those thoughts could be implemented - Aerys Targaryen would end up burning Rickard and Brandon Stark - starting Robert' Rebellion.

"Are you honest with yourself?" asked Alton from Walder, it had been several decades since their father and mother had passed away - yet Walder treated the chair like it belonged to him since birth. "Your son killed two young girls!"
"They were peasants, it is their duty to serve us anyway. Just pay them off, and be done with it..." replied Walder, looking down at his younger and in some sense more physically capable brother.
"No. I won't...and neither will you," he replied, staring down the man that many others in the Twins feared.
"What have you done, Alton?" asked Walder, looking like someone had slapped him at this moment.
"I told the truth. The smallfolk know, it was one of your own. Now, you can either hang him, give him the black or have several dozen angry peasants at your keep..." he replied, not breaking the stare.
"You! Rat! Arrest the man!" roared Walder, although before the guardsmen could get at him - Alton, got his bow and arrow nocked at Walder.
"Go ahead. I have been meaning to do this, since you showed me - what kind of hedonistic old fart you are," replied Alton, keeping the arrow nocked and aimed straight. Even age hadn't diminished his strength.
"You'd be cursed a kinslayer..." replied Walder, although sat down and gave the order for his men to stand down.
"Rather a kinslayer. Than spend one more day in this place. You want to know why everyone laughs at us? Look at you. You have coin, you have a keep, you have lands. What do you do with them? Spend time eating, drinking and fucking up one poor girl after another. They laugh at us, since you treat yourself as a joke. You have no respect or decency. You are a rat, who eats other rats. And you...dear brother...are the biggest one of them all."
"And does that make you?" replied Walder, only for an arrow to hit the lantern above his head.
"A rat...escaping this sinking ship you call a House..." replied Alton, walking out the Twins - ignoring the curses and insults that his brother was throwing at him. Five minutes later, he was mounted on his horse 'Grasshopper' and was on his way to Riverrun - hoping that his liege lord might offer him some employment or if not, at least a roof for a day or two - until he could get his thoughts in order.
