Aurora tilts her head. “You know what you are, how others see you. That makes you not a monster,” she says quietly, then she smiles a little. “I refuse to believe that someone so kind is a monster.” Her cheeks heat a little.

Aurora smirks dangerously. “All I’m going to say is there’s a reason they call this lovely face a monster.” She’s sarcastic about calling herself lovely, and she doesn’t seem to register how he’d gotten closer. “When I act out, it’s something even the worst demons can dream of on their best days.”
Aurora smiles mischievously, “Hell yeah.” Then she blushes when he calls her lovely. “I-I was being sarcastic, but,” she clears her throat. “Thank you.” She’s lost in his blue eyes, leaning in slightly.
“I- I don’t understand.. I don’t understand what’s happening,” the blush deepens as Aurora struggles to find the words. “Here, between us. Or is that just me?” She rambles in a whisper, very nervous and now embarrassed.
Aurora’s eyes are wide, her face matching her red eyes. She freezes when he kisses her, but she relaxes a little and leans into the touch on her cheek. She feels herself kissing him back, if a little awkwardly.
Aurora, stunned, and possibly overheated by how much she’s blushing, is too euphoric to notice the sting of a trickle of blood on the corner of her mouth, where his fangs had punctured her skin. “Wow,” she breathes. “That was.. new.”
