Zenith smiles. "It's nice to meet you as well." She closes her eyes and smiles when she smells something. "Mmm... what's that smell?" She looks towards the kitchen.
Zenith frowns faintly. "Oh no, it's fine. I love to clean," she smiles. "But if you insist," she sighs and gets a cookie. "Thank you," she smiles at Barry's mom, and carefully eats a cookie. She chews thoughtfully and she closes her eyes with a soft groan. When she swallows, she mutters, "Holy mother of children."
Zenith smiles. "Yes ma'am, but I don't particularly associate with any one religion. I just study cultures and I adopt what makes sense to me. If you don't mind me asking, what about you?" She pauses and frowns faintly at Barry, and she rubs his back. "Teddy bear, are you okay?"
Barry nods " I'm ok " he said he had just been focusing too hard on a small detail
Marline smiles " oh were Catholic but we've relaxed in recent years we used to be very strict on Barry confession every Sunday and Wednesday that sort of thing " she says then hears zeniths nickname " teddy bear? " she says smiling
Zenith smiles gently at Barry. "If you're sure." She smiles and nods when Marline explains their personal evolution in their Catholicism, and she blushes, smiling sheepishly when she asks about her nickname, then she smiles at Barry. "He's very cuddly and makes me feel safe, much like a teddy bear in the middle of a storm." She thinks back on her words and she ducks her head shyly, blushing even deeper.
Zenith smiles sheepishly at Marline, and she smiles wider when Barry talks to her. She kisses him gently. "Good, I called you that for the first time on our first date, remember? We were at the waterfall." She smiles brightly.
Zenith smiles, getting lost in his eyes when Marline came back. She smiles at the woman. "Thank you so much for hosting and for the delicious cookies."
