Carra sighs again and blinks away the sunlight. She sits on a bench and pulls out a wrinkled piece of paper from her pocket, and she smashes some leaves and petals together of nearby plants, painting with the resulting colors.
Carra walks inside and after a while her face scrunches in concentration, a mess of open cookbooks and various ingredients and mixes clutter the surfaces. Carra wipes her sweaty brow on her shoulder, her face decorated with different sauces and powders.
Carra frowns a little. “Thanks? Shit!” She exclaims when she smells something burning. She pulls it out, wincing slightly at her hands burning, then she rushes to whisk the mix and she runs around the kitchen like a headless chicken.
Lynn had sneaked through the portal before it closed and now was taking anything that wasn't jailed down shoving things into his jacket pockets and secret pockets
Carra finishes the sauce she’s working on, then, soon, they are finished. She drizzles the sauce over her homemade lasagna, silently praying to the gods that it wasn’t poison. “Okay, I think that’s it.”
She wakes up and looks around. She blinks and then gets up. She grabs her bag and walks out of the room into the kitchen. She smiled. "Oi! That smells good!" She called to Carra
Carra nods with a small smile. “Yeah, tell me about it.” She dips her head to Alexia in acknowledgment. “Thanks.” She stretches up to grab the plates, but she frowns when she’s not tall enough.
