Let's Write!
Welcome and thanks for dropping by! I'm Buzzingbee, Buzz, Bee or honestly anything along those lines. I'm looking to hopefully start up a couple new longterm roleplays. I like a wide variety of things but honestly I will always have a soft spot for medieval plots. Preferably ones with low to no fantasy element but I'm certainly not crossing out high fantasy ones! I'm also open to any other genres though and certainly open to hearing plots of all kinds! But before we get into the fun stuff, here's what you need to know about me as well as what I'm looking for in a partner!
About Me
- I prefer female mains, but I am capable of rping males so I am open to doubling if that is an issue. Also love a large side cast of npcs!
- Romance is prefered but not required! I'm a bit of a sap and I love a good romance but I don't want it to ever be the only thing going on in the plot. At the moment, I'm open to MxF and FxF pairings.
- I am 18+.
- I consider myself a casual to high casual writer. I can pretty much guarantee about 3 paragraphs each post.
- Since I am 18+, I am ok with mature themes. Though, I prefer to fade to black for explicit things. I will not write smut.
- OOC chat is welcomed and encouraged! I love to world build and plot or just chat as we write.
- My posting frequency can change depending on my work schedule. I aim to post at least once a day if not more but life can wear me out at times. If I'm going to be gone for more than a day or two I will let you know.
- I'm ditch friendly! I understand that things come up or you lose interest in the story. It happens to all of us and I won't be upset if you decide to back out at any point c:
- As stated earlier, I like a wide variety of genres and themes but have a soft spot for medieval. I also love supernatural plots as well. I'm open to hearing plots or ideas that I don't have listed below!
- I prefer to write over threads (just find it to be easier to keep track of) but may be convinced into a PM.
What I'm Looking For
- Hopefully long term partner or two!
- Someone 18+
- Able to post on average around 3 paragraphs or more. While I consider myself just casual, I am willing to take a shot at advanced writing if any advanced writers are willing to have some patience with me! I'm always looking to improve my writing and challenge myself a bit.
- Someone who's hopefully into world building and character development :D
Plots
1. Dystopian/Political - Set in a dystopian society where one elite council rules over all, a new rising star begins to garner fame. MuseA is a politician with their eyes set on a soon to be opening council seat. While MuseA has the support of the people, they don't have the support of the council. Wanting to disrupt MuseA's claim to power, one council member hatches a plan. They hire MuseB, a lesser known government worker, to worm their way into MuseA's life in order to uncover any dark secrets as well as to plant other such scandals.
2.****(really want to try this one) Medieval/Fantasy - In the kingdom of Argarth, MuseA and MuseB live secluded in a forest. They are witches/wizards who were forced to flee from their coven after the latest king declared witchcraft illegal. The two have managed to keep a low profile by removing themselves from most of society. It has kept them safe from the witch hunters for a couple seasons. They are just beginning to settle into this new life when a stranger walks right into their peaceful life. Well, more like collapses. MuseC comes out of nowhere one night, injured and in need of help, and passes out right at the sibling's doorstep. MuseA, going against the wishes of MuseB, decides to use a healing spell to same MuseC's life. Unfortunately for MuseA, MuseC might not have been as unconscious as they previously thought. (There's plenty of ways we can go with this story! Also open for doubling and/or potential love triangle plot. Can be low to high fantasy!)
3. Superheroes/Light Hearted - In a large city with high crime rates and known villains, two heroes, MuseA and MuseB, rise to the challenge at the same time. At first, they view each other as coworkers of sorts, usually crossing paths whenever evil is afoot. Their once casual interactions, however, soon begin to turn competitive as the citizens/reporters of the city begin to question who's the hero and who's the sidekick. With neither MuseA or B willing to accept that title, the two heroes develop a rivalry. I view this idea as a more comical, action packed one that may develop more serious/dark themes as we dive into the story.
