He's wearing a mix of chain and hide, effectively a Chain Shirt. So 13+Dex.

Also note to self: don't roll before you actually make your maps. All my rolls are generically labeled so now I have no idea who's roll belongs to who or where it's going to.

I was wondering, do the pirates of Keratia use the Black Spot or some other kind of symbol to convey death threats to those who incur their wrath?

She wholly devoted herself to God. She prayed for the sake of people and for the happiness of the WORLD
But if GOD existed, how could this be
Here in this outlying church
This sacred place where she aids the weak and preaches the WORD of God
One would not expect
The smell of blood, alcohol and dirt
The stink of MAN
And now
The girl is filled with the stench of their DESIRE
The girl's FAITH flows out with the fluids polluting her body

I feel like I answered this question before, but no not usually. Might be one or two pirates that have a sort of signature style of showing their dislike or hatred against someone, but nothing common enough that every pirate would know the meaning if they see it. The closest thing to a Black Spot that most pirates would understand would actually be doled out by the Thieves Guild or their regional equivalent which is the Non Grata. Basically means that even thieves, smugglers, criminals, and other low lives and scums don't want to associate with these particular pirates, so they're outlaws even among outlaws. Again this is mostly doled out by thieves guilds and not pirates themselves, but it's not impossible for a particularly powerful pirate with strong connections to send a message to his rivals or enemies that certain waters are no longer going to be friendly to them.

I did not, I stole this quote from a porno. Hentai has a funny way of finding great bits of literary treasures of which I plunder for my own ends.

I was wondering, does Keratia have a god of piracy?

Not specifically. There is a god for Thievery, a separate one for the Sea, and one about Travel, but none specifically meant for Piracy. While superstitious in a way, most pirates rarely are devout to any god. The fact Talogan is a paladin pirate makes him considerably weird compared to most other pirates who aren't explicitly just a sea-borne cult.

He's known as Cannibal Katalmach because what is certain is that he had the Royal Family of Aerta, both the King, Queen, his three mistresses, all seventeen princes, and twenty two princesses, each individually killed, cooked, and served around the world to each lord, king, emperor, etc, as a statement of revenge.

Do people know what he wanted revenge for exactly?

Nah, and it’s a matter of much discussion even to this day. Like any royal family they are mired in controversy and politics, with many theories ranging from Cannibal Katalmach being a rightful heir retaking what is his by force, simply being an assassin who did what he did as a message, or just a rumor started to paint orcs and half-orcs in an incredibly bad light, as his name and races are one of the few things anyone knows about him. And there’s even debates on whether any of that is true or not.

Out of curiosity, have there ever been any cases of people in Keratia being born without souls?

Not exactly? It's possible, but most of the time no one really knows what constitutes having a soul in the first place. And even if they didn't, how would one go about figuring that out? There isn't exactly a spell called "Find Soul" or anything like that. Strictly speaking you're a human without a soul, you still ping as human for the purpose of stuff like hold person, charm person, etc.

Now having your soul removed, possibly at birth, in and of itself is not unheard of for those wise in the way of magics. Anyone who consorts with the likes of fey or demons would know that this is entirely possible, though this also typically kills the child and results in a stillbirth. And even so there's some debates about if that is truly the cause or if it's more a medical issue (Keratia is at that weird point in scientific development where they can try for a purely scientific method of healing, technology, and so forth, but magic adds in factors that no real-life science can explain sufficiently). Theologically speaking, it is your soul which joins with the gods after death, and it is also the soul that can haunt a corpse or location depending on the circumstances of one's death as well, so a lack of a soul means that doing either isn't possible for them. But for someone to live without ever having soul is almost unheard of. Even Lich's technically have souls via their Phylactery, so they are not truly soulless beings. Golems and constructs are generally considered soulless as the likes of Warforged have not yet been discovered (Buddy himself being a very bizarre entity even within Keratia).

So tl;dr is no, no one has ever been born without a soul.

Quick question, how many people are needed to sufficiently crew a ship?

While it depends on the ship, technically speaking one man could crew the Kraken. He'll just have to constantly be moving, adjusting, and praying that the weather doesn't fuck him over. But more people means that if something does go wrong you can rely on them to fix it while you do your own job.

I might've not been very specific, but during your crew's travel they're pretty much always busy. The only person who gets to rest is the captain and maybe whoever is assigned to the night crew, which mainly consist of Hurrik, Nyx, and whoever you or Tayang assigns for the Night Shift. Which is a standard rotation (2 hour watch, six hour sleep) anyways. A day that could be considered "smooth sailing" means that the crew can eat some of their rations while they work, but they will still be working. Hence why the crew enjoys shore leave when they can.

In short: One man at the minimum to make the ship go anywhere. Two if you want to make sure they go anywhere for longer than a few days.
