RUMORS

Word from the under city is that the Thieves Guild are facing a competition. A new band of cutthroats looking to take hold of Draydon for themselves.

Calimshan Black Raiders are alleged to be lurking about in the ports and Harbor District. The mass of writhing tattoos and markings across their bodies said to be proof.

The city is rattled by a long list of mass disappearances in the Common District over the past few months. Rumors persist of blood mage involvement despite the city guards’ attempt at diffusing such fears.

A mage of the Academy is looking for someone outside of the Questers Guild to retrieve a specific artifact from an island off the coast of Draydon.

NEWS

The Temple of Ilmatter in the Commons District has reported grave robbery, as the embalmed corpses of several recently deceased women have been removed from burial. The city guard are leading an inquiry.

An entire retinue of Holy Paladins of Ilmatter have gone missing in the Sword Mountains while allegedly hunting a coven of fiend worshippers.

Well! I planned on finishing my post today but work kept me busy, and is keeping me busy, likely late into the night. I'm in the military and we're getting slammed with inspections and extra duties today. I promise I'll have something tomorrow when I'm dismissed for the weekend.

A nice TL;DR for those wondering what the event is, it is a public execution in the Temple District. Ringing church bells announced the event, but there were also a lot of people there as well. So you could be drawn to the event because of those reasons.

I’ve updated the codex with “religious links” to mentioned dieties. Further updates will be made through the day. I will also add additional rumors either tomorrow or Tuesday.
