Detailed appearance. Imagery insufficient.
Marius is a human male of average height and lean build. His short brown hair is usually matted down due to the flight helmet he often wears. His brown eyes are unremarkable, but functional. The only defining feature of his face is a scar over his left eye that he claims he received during his childhood. When not in his flight suit, Marius sports a regulation t-shirt and BDUs, along with leather boots. On his hip is his standard issue blaster pistol. His bearing and mannerism is by the book, and he snaps his salutes with precision.
Report on skills and talents, including level of skill.
Fighter Pilot: Marius is a skilled and experience fighter pilot with a number of kills to his name. His operational history includes both air defense and air-to-ground combat. Thanks to his ability (or luck depending on who you ask), he has been promoted to Lieutenant and commands a flight of three fighters plus himself.
Steady under fire: Marius has a reputation for being completely calm in combat situations, giving his men clear commands and not making snap decisions. This has been noted as a source of pride and occasional joshing from the pilots under his command.
Respect for Authority: While not afraid to go for solutions not written in the manual, Marius treats the military hierarchy with respect and is not prone to stepping out of line.
Report on known combat experience, training and weapons training.
Pilot: Marius' fighter of choice is the Liberator-class starfighter, and he knows his ship very well. Having nearly seven years of combat experience, Marius has ascended to the unofficial rank of ace.
Blasters: Marius is a competent, if not remarkable shot with small arms. He occasionally practices on the range whenever he finds time, but he would much rather in a cockpit than in a trench somewhere.
Hand to Hand Combat: Marius is an exceptional boxer, though it is mostly self taught due to his rough upbringing. His is absolutely not afraid to fight dirty if it means winning.
Report on role, specialization and responsibilities pertaining to the subject’s military deployment.
Other than piloting his craft, he manages the logisitcs of his four man flight, files reports and trains replacements as needed.
Detailed notes on political influence and associates.
Marius personally does not have any affiliations or preferences in regards to politics. He usually sees them as necessary evils, at best. At worst, they leech of the backs of beings who actually work for a living.
Detailed notes on known rivals and enemies, within and outside the Republic army/navy.
Lieutenant Evelice Rufio: Human Female. Where Marius is cold and precise, Rufio is passionate and reckless. She commands her own flight of four fighters and, while clearly against regulations, the two lieutenants have a relationship between bitter rivalry and begrudging respect. Marius would never tell her, but he thinks that she is a brilliant pilot, with her recklessness the only thing that's holding her back.
List and description of other known associates, including subordinates.
Group Captain Wilan Denz: Male Kel Dor. Marius' commanding officer and something of a mentor figure. Marius was assigned to him straight out of flight academy and has been flying under his command ever since.
Ensign Tyda Banzora: Male Twi-lek. The most experienced of Marius' recruits, he has a similar business like attitude to Marius and follows his instructions very well.
Ensign Javert Dannen: Male Human. An aristocrat by birth and by attitude, he generally complains about any given situation he finds himself in. In spite of his bad attitude, he is a more than competent pilot, so Marius is willing to put up with his whining to an extent.
Ensign Glanda Wahei: Female Nautolan. The flight's newest member, Glanda is inexperienced and not confident in her abilities. Under Marius' watchful eye, she has been improving, and will soon stand among the finest pilots in the navy.
List of known belongings, including but not limited to planetary surface property, civilian and military vessels, vehicles, weapons, tools.
Liberator-class starfighter: Marius' personal fighter is well maintained and looked after by the flight crew. The only notable modification of note is to the concussion missile bay, giving him a total of eight missiles as opposed to the standard six.
Heavy Blaster pistol: Usually belted onto Marius' uniform or flight suit.
Personal Quarters: Well kept and tidy. Only notable feature is a holonet terminal.
Psychological evaluation of candidate.
Marius Ulven hides a rough nature behind a mask of professionalism. Having spent nearly the first seventeen years of his life on the streets of the Coruscant Underworld, he is willing to do exactly what is necessary, be it for victory or survival. Once he enlisted in the Republic Navy, he has had a remarkable career. Marius flies for himself first and the Republic second.
List and description of known and suspected flaws. To be put into restricted database.
Marius has no real loyalty to the Republic, but will do his duty as necessary. By his own admission, he believes the Republic has failed to help him and his mother from poverty, as well as others like him.
