___________________________________

//Abilities, Physical Skills:
Supernatural Abilites | Old blood Abilites: As an Old Blood who has lived for 100 years, Nicholas possesses greater powers than other vampires, capable of easily slaying over younger vampires or Kolas Children with ease. Nicholas's Old Blood heritage and his mark left by the Kolas King leaves him immune to the Kolas Bite.

Mind Compulsion: Mind Compulsion is an ability of vampires. Nicholas possesses this ability as well he can compel any human or vampire younger in age and strength to do what he commands. Compelled beings usually follow the instructions given to them by the vampire who compelled them to the best of their ability, sometimes even those that would otherwise be beyond their "normal" capacity (i.e. being forced to forget a very recent and otherwise unforgettable experience, cause them to develop new skills, and even create new personalities). Needless to say, this ability plays a vital role in keeping the existence of Vampires.

Physical Skills | Nicholas due to his old blood status possesses power that surpasses that of most black blood vampires; he is physically strong enough to cut through stone with little difficulty, and has often overpowered multiple opponents at once. He is extremely fast, able to jump to great heights, or even to balance on a moving objects. He wields a long katana which has a blade made of silver, which is deadly to Kolas bloodline. He has master multiple techniques in his long span of life. Making even even the most deadly opponent a fool to underestimate him.

Powers Listed | Supernatural physical abilities such as super strength, reflexes, coordination, speed, resilience and stamina, regeneration (Healing) and heightened senses. Telekinesis. Telekinetic Shockwave- A blast of telekinetic energy. Kolas Immunity- Cannot be turned into a Kolas Child

Personality:
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Nicholas possesses a very calm and mature attitude for those who he cares for. He is very devoted to the Sage bloodline and holds dear to his memory of the Lady Eve. Nicholas personality became increasingly complex. Much of Nicholas' personality as a human transcended into his vampire personality, although his basic human traits became significantly more heightened. Although Nicholas became increasingly darker by nature due to his vampire nature, he still retained the same basic personality traits that he had as a human. Nicholas would be described as mysterious, brooding, inscrutable, intense, kind, caring, empathetic, compassionate, loving, affectionate, noble, selfless, brave, intelligent, protective, and loyal. On the dark side, Nicholas can be incredibly self loathing, and self-destructive. He carries much guilt for not being able to save the Lady Eve. So much so that after the defeat of the Kolas King he isolated himself for nearly a half century after.

History
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
Nicholas was born during the early era of the 17 century. He raised in comfortable station due to his father lucrative shipping business. Nicholas was provided with a very extensive education as child, from literature, mathematics and languages. He was groomed to become his fathers successor. Which was something Nicholas accepted but he secretly longed for more. His chance came at eighteenth year when he enrolled his majesty's navy and began a tour around the continent. His relationship with his father began to strain then, with his sire wanting him to return home. Possibly even marry. Nicholas having finally tasted the freedom and adventure he longed for continued to serve. He enjoyed the discipline the navy offered and naively he enjoyed the thrill of the exploit. He did not want to give that up to run a shipping company his father would never allow him tour on. Nicholas was determined to make his own way. So he remained until he gained the title of captain in his own right at his 28th year. It was also the year everything ended for him. It was also the year he had met her.

His mission had been simple. He was too escort ambassador the earl of Havenshire and his companions to the Vienna to report to the earls new post. It had all seem so neatly wrapped up and straight forward on the surface. Nicholas of course had had his suspicions. Something routine was always something far more complex. In the end it had been so much more. That was when she had come into his life Audrielle Mistmourn. She had been mysterious and her beauty ethereal. Nicholas could not help but be drawn to her. The earl had called her the Lady Eve but when Nicholas had pressed the man he had become tight lipped. That only fueled his suspicions more and made him believe their orders was so much more than just a escort for the earl. The Lady Eve was clearly connect to all of it as well. So like any good captain Nicholas investigated. In the beginning she hadn't desire much to do with him but over time slowly but surely she began to open up. Nicholas had begun to enjoy his time with her and eventually he found his feelings growing deeper than that.

He had fallen in love with the Lady Eve, yet Nicholas knew their desires would be cut short. For once the journey ended they would part and never see each other again. Or so Nicholas had thought. They had been two days from the coast of Vienna when it had happen. A ship hoisting black sails came into view at the distance and attack. Both ships fought mercilessly but in the end the black sails boarded Nicholas' ship. His men fought bravely to the last, pushing back the invaders. Protecting their charges with their lives. Nicholas too fought in the fray against the captain of their attackers. He had been fast and his face covered as they fought on the deck of the ship. However unlike his crew Nicholas' fight had been more of challenge. With every move his opponent made it became clear to Nicholas he was being out classed. It came as no surprise when the final blow came. Nicholas had seen it coming. He had just been unable to dodge. The sword had pierced his heart. Nicholas knew he was dying but before he closed his eyes. He saw Eve. She was their standing with the earl.

The noble born gentlemen was holding the black sails captain by the throat dead in his hands. The Lady Eve said something to him and then turned Nicholas. She tried to say something to her but with so much blood being loss, Nicholas could barely hear as began to fade away. His final thought was that at least he got to see her once last time. He woke up three days later with Alice by his side. It was a welcome sight but Nicholas was confused. There was no way he could have survived his wounds. They had been fatal. Nicholas was certain his life had been over after he had take that blade to his chest. Yet here he was. He looked to Eve for answers. That was when he had learned the truth. He had died and his crew very much believed him gone. It was explained to him that he had been saved him but it came with a price many would hardly believe. Nicholas learned on that day that Lady Eve was far much more than just a mystery passenger on his ship.

She was an immortal being called a vampire. Nicholas had died and she had given him a new life in place of the one he had lost. It would be a lie if Nicholas said he hadn't been confused, or angry. He had died and his previous life was over. Let alone he had a new one as a vampire? It took him sometime to come to terms with that. He could never see his family again. That was the most traumatic revelation of his new life. Nicholas never blamed Eve. He was grateful she had saved his life. Yet the former captain could not help but mourn what once was. It had taken Nicholas some time to come to terms with everything. Though it all Lady Eve had been there. She had stayed by his side. She could have left at anytime, yet she had stayed.

Nicholas realized his companionship with her was so much more deeper. He loved Eve and vowed to stay by her side and protect her. Nicholas never regretted his decision. He spent nearly three centuries with her. Happy. Content. It had felt like a dream. Unfortunately... even dreams can't last forever. The year was 1950, a vampire who would later be known as the Kolas King emerged in the now modern day Americas and began spreading his lineage to unsuspecting victims. The Kolas Children, as his bloodline came to be known, differed from other bloodlines in that all humans (Or vampires) bitten by a Kolas Child would become Kolas Children themselves, a new breed of vampire. The ensuing chaos made the existence of vampires, which until then had been living in secret, known to the entire world. The conflict culminated from a rebellion into a war of cleansing. Humans and vampires worked together to exterminate the children.

To preserve the four core bloodlines Nicholas as well as the Lady Eve joined the conflict. Unfortunately for them that is exactly what the Kolas King has wanted. He had wanted the Lady Eve to ensure his bloodlines survival. Fortunately the kings plans hadn't come full circle but in his rage he would commit an act that would forever change Nicholas. Kolas King took the Lady Eve's life. Nicholas watch as his love faded into dust. In his own blind rage Nicholas fought the Kolas King and after a long battle he defeated him. Afterwards in his blind rage he hunted and nearly wiped out a majority of the Kolas children. An act of genocide vampires still look back on as event full of horror. It was from that day forward that Nicholas was know as the "Executioner." He walked off the battlefield and placed himself in self imposed exile for nearly half a century. His only thoughts was how he had failed Audrielle. His Lady. His Eve.

Audrielle 'The Lady Eve' Mistmourn

Age: 50 years (After Reincarnation)
Gender: Female
Species: Vampire (Source Blood of Chaotic Bloodline)

Appearance:
Audrielle has light blonde hair with hazel eyes. She stands at around 5'7" with most of her height being in her long legs. As far as her build, she no longer has the hint of muscle she did in her past body from being actively ready for a fight. Instead, with her absence of memories and new body, she hasn't worked to improve her body shape but her figure remains lean with her natural curvature.

Personality:
Upon first meeting Audri, one can will find that she's a rather warm individual, despite being apart of a cold-blooded species. She's friendly unless given a reason not to be and tends to have a decent—albeit a bit dry—sense of humor. She prefers to have a large circle of trusted companions, finding that loneliness is something that often plagues her for reasons she herself hasn't figured out. However, it would be wise not to mistake her friendliness for naivety. Despite her lacking memory and therefore, lack of experience, Audri has proven to still be incredibly sharp and intuitive to the world around her. Some of the Old Bloods closest to her have even found it difficult keeping her in the dark about her past while she was growing up due to it. They had once speculated that it was a sign that her memories would return but unfortunately, it just seemed to be a deeply ingrained trait.

She does have a bit of a temper that usually stems from her pride or competitiveness. Audri never enjoyed being crossed or made a fool of before and certainly doesn't take it any better now. Though she's not quite the source blood she once was, she's still not one to roll over to the will of others. Unfortunately, her temper isn't her only downfall. Audrielle also tends to make decisions quite impulsively. Even in the past she was rarely one to thoroughly think through her decisions and it played a large role in her previous demise.

Abilities:

Due to reincarnation, Audrielle doesn't possess the abilities and strength that she once did. The Old Bloods suspect that she is still in a weakened state after her previous death. For now, the only know powers she seems to has is that equivalent of Black Bloods.

Present Life Background:

No longer the 'Lady Eve' that everyone remembers, Audrielle was reborn in the safety of the special zone as a baby. At first, none of the Old Bloods knew what to think and many had no idea how she had managed to reincarnate. There was great speculation of whether she had the power to do it to herself or if, perhaps, someone else was responsible for her rebirth. Regardless, answers never came. So, focus instead turned to raising Audrielle.

Fearful of losing her for good in such a weak state, the Old Bloods hid her away to raise her as human girl while the rest of the coven worked to restore their former power. During this time, Audrielle had a rather peaceful life raised by a woman named Aida. Her childhood was spent learning and reading. In her spare time, she played with toys in the safety of the small, yet cozy home. It wasn't a bad life, since she technically had everything she needed. The main upset was her lack of company. Even though the coven wanted her to have a normal life, they were still scared of others discovering her whereabouts so her interactions out in the town were controlled and always supervised. That alone didn't leave young Audrielle with many friends. As she grew older, she grew more rebellious against Aida and began sneaking out. It was then that she formed a friendship with some of the neighboring kids. Her and the human kids would often take trips down to a nearby river, which was eventually dubbed 'The Spot' by a boy named Chester. They became a tight knit group as they talked and joked with each other over the course of years. Unfortunately, all things eventually come to an end.

Nearing eighteen, Audri began to realize there was something strange about her relationship with Aida. She knew the woman wasn't her birth mother, that much had been made clear years ago, but to her, she was still a mother figure. However, the older she got the weaker that image got as she began to realize how distant Aida acted towards her. And that was just the start. With their relationship beginning to fracture and noticing other inconsistencies, the coven finally had to bring Audrielle back to them and shatter this human life that she had been living. Leaving behind that life without a word of goodbye, she was brought into the word of the vampires.

As the years went by, Audrielle adjusted to this new life rather quickly, learning the history behind her true species as well as the powers they possessed. The coven also tried to restore her memory with many different attempts but unfortunately, it seemed they were gone. Their next best bet was to unlock the powers she held but that attempt didn't go very well either. Unable to restore their lady, Audrielle has resorted to being a sheltered resident of the coven. In recent times, she's been spending most her time trying to figure out the powers the Old Bloods swear that she's supposed to have. While she has a very uncaring attitude towards her memories, she is intrigued by the abilities she's heard of.

Past Life Background:

Audrielle was once the 'Mother of All Bloodlines' and it was a title she held with unshaken pride. No one is really sure where she, herself, originated from. Some say in ancient times, she was born from the love affair of the God of Death and a mortal while other stories believe that she was a mortal who was instead cursed by the God of Death, meant to create his undead army but instead creating a new version of life. Unfortunately, it was a tale lost to time and even something that she wouldn't have a true answer to as one of her earliest memories involved waking up in a pond of blood with no recollection of how she got there or who's blood it was.

Her beginnings were trying times for Audrielle, as she spent a good majority of it just trying to navigate the world. The Lady Eve was known to travel around the continent for many years, as in her early years she was much like a curious toddler. With no formal education, most of it relied on simply experiencing the world and watching history be created. Eventually though, she began to learn reading and writing through a young woman named Aida, whom she had befriended on one of her many travels. Aida had been a daughter of a proud, wealthy man so she had ended up receiving more education than most women did at the time and she gladly shared it. Aida also had a deep thirst for adventure beyond normal life though and that became apparent to Audrielle in the time she spent with her. It caused the vampire to make a very grave mistake.

Thinking she was being helpful, she bit Aida, turning her into her own kind. Audri had believed that she was giving her human friend an escape but it turned out that it wasn't the escape Aida wanted. The scholar, at first, was devastated as she realized what she had become and forced the Lady Eve to search for a cure. Decades went by before Aida eventually lost hope and accepted her fate to roam the earth as a vampire. While she eventually forgave Audrielle and became a trusted friend, Audrielle never let herself forget the pain she caused her friend and vowed to have more care when changing someone.

From there, she built her bloodline, giving rise to several vampires as the decades went on, sticking to willing victims that she deemed fit to join her. Though she hadn't been human herself, Audrielle had a deep rooted respect for humanity thanks to her many travels and time spent amongst them. They weren't just prey or subjects for her to turn, they were creatures that deserved as much respect as any vampire. So she had sworn off changing people impulsively like she had Aida but things change. Namely, she met him, the man that would later be given the title of Executioner.

They met during an escort at sea where she was setting sail with the earl of Havenshire to go to the Vienna. Her plan was to pass safely and quietly across the waters, returning to her coven and home after one of her usual trips away. Audrielle hadn't been planning for anything more until she crossed paths with Nicholas Blackthorn. He wasn't the first man to attract her attention so naturally, she didn't think much of him at first aside from finding his looks alluring. At first, she kept to herself, seeing no reason to get involved with the captain, but as time went on she found it more difficult to keep away. As they spent more time together, she let him in a bit more and found herself developing rather strong feelings for him. Stronger than any she had experienced with prior men she had been involved with.

So when the black sails attacked the ship, she was devastated to watch as the captain was run through with a sword. It was an injury no man could survive. At least not a human one. On that day, she broke her own promise out of a desperation to save the human she had fallen for. Audrielle turned Nicholas in an effort to save him. After the fear of losing him wore off, she began to realize her mistake and a heavy sense of guilt fell over the vampiress. So, the Lady Eve did the only thing she could do and remained by his side as he came to terms with his newfound life. She expected that he would resent her in a similar fashion that Aida had and also didn't expect their closeness to carry on after what she had done.

However, in time, she found out that she was pleasantly wrong.

As the years went on, the two grew closer and her trust for him grew deeper. Lady Eve gave her heart to him and with it, her blood as he was the only vampire she ever allowed to take any. She had been hoping to live her seemingly endless days with him by her side but things never go according to plan.

At the sudden rise of the Kolas Clan, action had to be taken to get rid of the monsters born because the tainted Blood Fount. Lady Eve launched into defense against the rebellion as the Kolas King directed his attack onto both humans and Old Bloods alike. When he entered the battle himself, Audrielle was even more than compelled to go toe to toe with the Kolas King, infuriated by his demand for her. Of course, the Old Bloods would never allow for it. There was too much at risk if she did get caught but that didn't stop Audri from wishing to end this genocide.

As mentioned prior, impulsiveness was always Lady Eve's downfall.

Unable to simply sit back while her coven fought against the Kolas Clan, she went into action one night with a plan to help turn the tides of the war. Sadly, that plan never even got to see a glimpse of daylight. Her impulsive decision made her an easy target beyond the safety of the Old Bloods and the Kolas King was all too quick to strike as soon as he saw the chance. Unprepared, she fell to the wrath of her enemy.

Rene Belmont

Age: 800
Gender:

History: An 800 year-old Source Blood born in France on April 1, Rene Belmont called 'Red-eye Belmont', is the bearer of the God's Flame a legend of the Dark Ages. Rene has many other titles including "The Ancient Dark Hunter", "The Follower of the Fire God", "The Red-eyed Murderer", and "The Prince of Blood". He is also one of the rulers the four affiliated houses of the Special Zone. He comes from a glorious bloodline linking to the great warrior, Asura and is noted to be one of the last of that bloodline. Having inherited the special blood of the war god Asura, Rene has a power called 'Eye Ignite', which enables him to create and control fire. Because he had to prove his bloodline long before coming a vampire, he is the only one that is left; which is also due to his lifespan of 800 years.

Personality: Rene has a very colorful personality. On the surface he is charming, and a very sociable individual. In reality he is those things and so much more. Rene is not above scheming, lying or using someone to gain the results he desires. The other Covens consider him a wild card and have a hard time predicting current or end goals. Rene has a soft spot for the honesty, and nativity of the Lady Eve. He has known her long before reincarnation and feels that her latest up bringing has stunted her growth as a vampire. He knows as a source blood that fate centers around the voices that come from the bloodline, passed on if they listen to the calling within the blood. He is the only one of the vampire leaders who willingly accepts Nicholas into the Special Zone as he enjoys his personality and benefits to his agenda.

Aida Drakos
Age: Nearing 700 Years
Gender:Female
Species:Old Blood

History: Born September 17 near the region of Tibet, Aida was once nothing more than the daughter of a nobleman and wife to another. Freedom wasn't something she was familiar with, however, education was. She had a deep love for learning and luckily that was a luxury her family could afford. Eventually, she ran into Audrielle during the lady's earlier days on earth. Audrielle was different than anyone else Aida had come across and with a thirst for adventure, she was drawn to the other woman out of curiosity. They formed a close friendship and Aida became the lady's teacher in exchange for the stories Audrielle had to share about the world she had seen during her many travels. All was well until it took a sour turn when Audrielle bit her.

For decades, Aida was furious with Audrielle. As much as she had craved freedom, she didn't want to have to give up her family to get it. Unfortunately, there was no turning back. It took time and many years but Aida eventually accepted her new lease on life as a vampire. She became close with Audrielle, being a trusted friend and later a trusted advisor. Aida dedicated her new found immortality to learning as well as teaching to those willing to learn.

When the battle against the Kolas King occurred, Aida was devastated by the loss of not one friend but two as she witness Nicholas become the Executioner. She was the one that was chosen to raise Audrielle, since she was one of the eldests and the one who had been by her side the longest. It was a difficult task to watch and raise her old friend. When the truth eventually came out to Audrielle, Aida worked to restore a sense of friendship rather than whatever motherly bond had been there prior in hopes that it would restore the Lady's lost memories.

Personality: Aida is normally a quiet and reserved person with a passion for learning as well as teaching. She tends to be by the book and is known for being of one of the less morbid vampires. Even in her immortality, she tries to act as human as she can, never one for violence provided she finds a way to avoid it. Additionally, she's quite caring and kind, with a soft spot for all living creatures. Despite her softer nature, she is quite protective of the people she cares about. You may be able to cross her but it is not recommended to cross them.

Miscellaneous

  • Left behind not only a husband but a child when she was turned.
  • Knows a variety of languages, a good handful of them being ones lost to time unfortunately
  • Currently shares a home with Audrielle in the Special Zone

Louis Ragelance
Age: 235
Gender:Male
Species:Old Blood

History: Louis was born in England on December 11. He grew up in a poor family with two other siblings and was often quite sickly. Most of his childhood was spent sheltered from the outside world, lying in bed hoping to fight off whatever ailment he had acquired. However, during one of his few trips into town, he ended up meeting Audrielle. He had accidentally stumbled into her when his illness at the time had sent him into a dizzy spell. With his parents not around and his siblings off playing a game nearby, it was the Lady Eve who stopped to momentarily make sure the child was ok. The two spent a short time together and it was then that Audrielle realized that the kid likely didn't have much time left. So, she told him if his condition worsened to come find her again at the town, claiming that she had a solution.

Louis thought she was crazy at first but desperation eventually made him cling onto hope. His condition did worsen so he told his parents about the lady. Believing her to be a doctor, they took their son into the town as a last ditch effort to save him. Audrielle, was of course, there and took the family into the home she was currently residing at. It was then that she gave Louis the choice to become a vampire. After his family voted that it would be best, he agreed to it and Audrielle gave them a chance to say goodbye before using her powers of mind compulsion to make his family forget about their talk as well as believe their son to have passed.

After that, Louis grew up with the coven, being educated by Aida and following Audrielle and Nicholas' leads while forming other relationships with other various vampires he crossed paths with. While the life wasn't bad, he eventually grew tired of being looked down upon for his younger appearance. Despite decades having past, it was clear many still viewed him as the same child that he joined them as. He longed for more and started to push his way into the politics of the coven. Of course, there was only so far he could go as Audrielle often didn't seek much advice unless it was from the council or Nicholas.

However, his patience paid off when Audrielle was brutally killed. While others grieved, he launched into action to recover the coven that had lost not only their source blood but also Nicholas, another old blood who was highly respected. He did feel some sense of loss over Audrielle but it was simply too good of an opportunity to pass up. He rallied the coven back together and was finally in a position he wanted to be in. Unfortunately, it seemed it would be temporary as Audrielle was reborn and the only thing working in his favor is her lack of memories. Since then, Louis has continued to secretly undermine plans to get her memories and powers back, hoping to postpone the day that he'd have to give up his newly claimed power.

Personality: Born into a family with nothing but a once short life span, Louis craves all that he once didn't have. For a long time, he was satisfied with the comforts the coven had to offer. He got many things he never thought he'd get before including an education, a comfortable life, and to some degree, money. The only thing missing was power. Louis wanted to be a leader, wanted his voice to carry more weight than the child many looked at him to be. He's smart and crafty with a great abundance of patience and ambition. He might lack the makings of a natural leader but he makes up for it with his confidence and quick thinking.

Miscellaneous

  • Fears Nicholas' return
  • His growth, even as a vampire, has been held back slightly by the weakness he experienced as a human making him less physically strong than most Old Bloods his age.
  • Known for taking in stray cats he comes across. He has three currently.
