Hello!
In an effort to not have too many interest checks I've combined my Wayward Home and some ideas. I hope that's okay.
That being said I do have a few rules. The first is that I role-play on this site and this site alone. I do not move to discord or email. I don’t mind if we retreat to the PMs or do this via the threads, but I will not move to another site. The next rule is that I want my partner to be 18+. However, I do not do smut. At all. You’ll have to be okay with time skips or fade to blacks. I don’t like writing it. I do not like reading it. I will not do it. I’m okay with violence and darker themes. I’m like to keep the swearing to a minimal but can appreciate a well-placed impactful swear. I do not want it to be every other word. Please and thank you. The next isn’t really a rule it’s just something I feel potential partners should know. I can only post on the weekends. I can chat in the OoC all week long, but posts are a weekend thing. I try to make up for the lack of posting by the quality. I do my best to post longer posts that move the story forward. I try my best not to get wordy, but I do like delving into what my character is thinking.
Anyways I look forward to hearing from you if you’re interested. Have a nice day!
LadyAnnaLee!

Rather than being a series of plot ideas or pairing wants this is a list of characters, that for one reason or another, I want to use again. Some of them are from years ago. Some of them are from not that long ago. Depending on why they were originally written some of the profiles are more in depth than others. I have plot ideas for some of them, but not all of them. That being said if you have a story you think would suit one of them don’t hesitate to shoot me a PM. If you have any questions shoot me a PM. If you are in anyways interested, please shoot me a PM. I promise I don’t bite, and I try to be polite. I can only do a certain character in one role play at a time. For example, if you come to me wanted play with Ashe, but They are already in use I will have to politely turn you down. I will do my best to keep this check up to date. If you have any questions just shoot me a PM! :)
Full Name: Ashe Cross
Age: They were born October Nineteenth, 23 years ago.
Gender: Ashe is female, but prefers they/them pronouns.
Sexuality: Ashe had had enough experience to know that they are very firmly asexual. They think they are demiromantic but aren’t entirely sure on that one.
Appearance: Ashe has fair skin that is covered with freckles and loose brown curls. Their eyes are golden brown. Ashe is 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 150 pounds. They have legs that seem to go on forever. Ashe's fashion sense was most accurately be called 'crossdressing.' They enjoy dressing in clothes that are traditionally considered male. They tend to dress up in light colored slacks and colored button ups with suspenders. They accessorize with bow ties and matching hair ribbons. Their friends have called this fashion sense "Hipster Carny." Day to day they tend to wear jeans and polos. Occasionally, when the mood strikes them, they will wear something completely different; such as a sundress or a skirt. This is very rare. They keep their hair long. Sometimes they bind their size B bust flat. Sometimes they wear a push up bra. They like to be clean and neat appearing. They also prefer boots that come to just above their ankles to other type of shoes and are only willing to wear other type of shoes, if necessary, for the type of dancing there are planning on doing. They wear black leggings underneath black shorts with black boots and a black tank top when they “work.” It’s all skintight.
As for piercings and tattoos, Ashe only has two tattoos. Around their left wrist were their Soul Link would be on their other wrist is a matching band that is actually part of a chain that reaches around their arm and up to their elbow. The last link in the chain on their mid forearm is broken. The second tattoo is on the back of the shell of their right ear. It is in a slightly cursive font and reads, “Don’t Cross Me!” in black ink. They have matching piercings on both ears. There is small loop in their earlobes. As the piercings go up their ears the loops get smaller to end in a stud at the top of the curve of the ear. Ashe has a row of barbells along their left eyebrow. All of these piercings are copper colored stainless steel.
Personality: While being kind mostly for the sake of being kind Ashe is highly introverted. For the most part they like to stay at home and play video games or practice dancing. If they are compelled to socialize, they will do so without too much complaint though they will be mentally counting down the minutes until they can leave without causing too much social upheaval. Different types of social events drain their so-called social battery at different rates. If they enjoy the activity, they will be able to stay out for much longer. Other events make they want to go home immediately. They do their best to not let anyone clue into the fact that they are getting ready to so home. Just because they are not enjoying themselves does not give them a right to be a “party pooper.” Everyone else is allowed to enjoy themselves as well. They still can’t wait to get home. If they are enjoying themselves, such as a dance party, they are usually right in the middle of things. If they are not enjoying themselves, such as a house party, they tend to stay at the sidelines.
Ashe is also highly competitive though they do not like to admit this. They have been taught that showing off for showing off’s sake is not polite and they try to avoid it and as a result avoiding competition is something they try to do. It doesn’t often work. It never really works. Ashe likes to compete. It doesn’t really matter what type of competition. They have been competing in dance since they were small, and their competitive nature has led to their current line of work. They are drawn to competitions of any type; video games, board games, even sports. The level of their competitiveness depends on the activity and the company. It varies from “That was good clean fun” to “I’m going to destroy you utterly.” Ashe does her best to reign that last type in.
Biography: The story of Ashe Cross does not start with them. Instead it starts with the story of Navy Davidson and Gregory Cross. That story starts on the eve before Navy’s twenty-first birthday. That was the day that Soul Bound woman decided that she was done with waiting for a person who was never going to show up. She decided that she was going to live her Best Life. She wasn’t going to let the depression most Unmatched suffered from set in because she wasn’t Unmatched. She just wasn’t going to sit around and wait for someone. Navy was going to have a fantastic life; just like any old regular Intact.
Originally romance had not been part of the plan for her Best Life. Then Navy met Gregory Cross when she was twenty-four. He was fifteen years older than her, a successful businessperson, and not Soul Bound. They decide that they were going to make it work. Gregory freely admit that he would never know what it meant to have that black band on his wrist. He freely admitted that he didn’t know what would happen to Navy as she became Unmatched. She still dated him. They still moved in together. They rapidly began to spend much of their free time together. It was almost inevitable even as she fought to live her Best Live. It was also inevitable that the two of them would fall hopeless and deviously in love. Gregory Cross asked Navy Davidson to marry him.
The night they celebrated the new ring on Navy’s left hand their protection failed. They had not planned on children, but when they discovered the error two months later, they were deliriously happy. The first bedroom was theirs. The second bedroom was Gregory’s office. They had planned on turning the last bedroom into a studio for Navy. Instead it was turned into a nursey that could turn into a bedroom and then into a haven as their baby grew into a child and then a young adult. They purchased outfits and diapers in bulk. They agonized over which crib to get. Before they even knew the gender, they were in love. This was the next step of their lives that defied all the odds. This was marvelous.
Then, when Navy was seven months pregnant the two took one last trip before, they became parents. One last trip as just the two of them. One last chance to be at least semi irresponsible. That was where they met Margret Wilson. To be more accurate that was when the other Soul Bound crashed straight into Navy as both hurried to miss their connecting flights in a very busy airport. Neither one of them made those flights as they were overcome by euphoria. They were kissing before they even got up from their fall. The three of them retreated to a café to talk. Gregory was sent to watch their luggage. He understood. Two Soul Bound had entered the airport. One Match was here now.
In the end the engagement was called off. Navy moved out of Gregory’s flat. Both she and Margret moved into a little house that he was paying the rent on. A second nursery was set up. Gregory was left both smiling and heartbroken. How could be anything less than happy for Navy. She had found her other half. It was just like out of a fairy tale or rom-com movie. She was in love and Margret was in love with her. That didn’t change the fact that Gregory still loved the woman he had purchased a ring for. That didn’t change the fact that even though he knew why he had lost her that he never truly understood it. The man shoved those feelings aside. He still had a child on the way and he still loved that child.
Thankfully that was one thing Navy agreed upon. She and Margret were not going to try and push him out of his baby’s life. Navy said she understood that for Gregory the situation was bittersweet. She was willing to do whatever it took to co-parent. Margret agreed as well. The child would have at least three parents that loved them; maybe four if Gregory was ever ready for that again. Margret didn’t have parents, but the other four grandparents were ecstatic that they were welcoming a new member of the family. For the Cross grandparents this was their first. For the Davidsons this was their second. The child may not have been raised in a traditional home, but they would be absolutely loved.
That only lasted for the first three months after Ashe Cross was born. Then one Friday Navy and Margret dropped Ashe at Gregory's so the two soul mates could get away for a weekend getaway. When Sunday night came and the two women did not come home he started to get worried. None of his text messages received answers. He contacted Navy's parents to discover that Navy hadn't contacted them either. In a panic Gregory rushed over to the home he was renting for the two women. Their he discovered that the locks had been changed. Breaking a window got him in the house where discovered that the women had taken nothing with them. Their clothes, their cell phones, their cash. It was clear they had taken nothing. The police investigation lasted months, but it was soon clear that Navy and Margret could not be found. It was clear that they had just left with no intention of returning.
As a result, Ashe Cross was raised by a brokenhearted man. A brokenhearted man that loved them with his whole being and wanted nothing more than for them to be healthy and happy, but still brokenhearted. They were raised wanting for nothing, including discipline. They grew up knowing they were loved. They grew up being punished when they broke rules, but never abused. They grew up understanding the importance of taking care of people who just needed a little bit more help. They grew up kind, considerate, loving. They grew to be a strong as Gregory could make them. He loved his child with everything he could give. Yet he couldn’t hide the sadness that always hid between his eyes.
It wasn’t long before Ashe realized that the band on their wrist was the same band their mother had sported. It wasn’t long before Ashe learned the story from both sets of grandparents. It wasn’t long before Ashe realized that they hated their mother. They understood some of it. They had the yearning as well. They craved to fill the emptiness that had always been there in their soul. Ashe could understand why Navy had clung so tightly to Margret that even her engagement meant nothing. Ashe didn’t hate their mother because she had been Soul Bound and then Matched. They hated their mother because Navy had chosen to leave for no reason to who the flip knew where. Not even Grandma Davidson had heard from her daughter since. What Ashe hated her mother for was leaving her family behind without having to suffer any of the consequences. From that hate came a decision.
Ashe was never ever going to do something like that. They were never going to make a decision that they wouldn’t make as just a Soul Bound. Matching was not going to change their life to the point of cruelty. If they did find their soul mate and it was either a Platonic or Romantic bond Ashe was not leaving their father behind to have his heart broken yet again. If it was an Antagonistic bond Ashe wasn’t letting that person into their life to hurt their family. They rather be Unmatched than make a choice they wouldn’t as just a regular person. Besides; who was the universe to take the choice of person they wanted to spend their life with away anyways. If they ever did meet their soul mate, they were going to make sure that spending their life with that person was their choice and theirs alone. Until that day came Ashe wasn’t waiting for happiness to find them. They would find it.
As such Ashe has taken dance lessons all their life. They haven’t picked just one style they like and that frustrates their teachers. Even though they have grown up in privilege they have not wanted to ride that privilege all their life. They have worked one job or another since they were sixteen. First, they were a checker at a big box store colored red. Then they were a shop associate at a small boutique. They worked as a volunteer librarian and a lifeguard. They have taken a few classes as community college but aren’t sure what they actually want to do with their life. Perhaps they will pick a specialty dance soon. They are not sure.
Right now, Ashe Cross makes money as Noble_Dancer in the video game Gamer’s Nightmare. Gamer’s Nightmare is the first video game of its kind. Using a virtual reality headset along with sensors in specially designed boots, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, a belt the game tracks the real-world movements of the player translating them into the avatar’s movements. It requires physical action and motion on the part of the player to play the game. Since Gamer’s Nightmare is an action adventure game set in a traditional rpg world full of monsters, players who are not physically fit have a hard time keeping up. Many sports stars, soldiers, and athletes have been drawn to the game. It originally wasn’t something Ashe was interested in. Then one day a friend of theirs challenged them to a PvP fight. Ashe gloated the moment they won the first fight. The dare and the bet to place in the next PvP tournament was not something the competitive Ashe could ignore. To their surprise they placed in the amateurs’ tournament and had more fun than they had expected. Ashe was hooked. After a few rough starts Ashe started studying a few traditional fighting styles including various martial arts, fencing, and archery in order to keep up with players that have been fighting in some manner all their lives. Now Noble_Dancer is the fifth highest ranked avatar in the world and the third most popular due to the fact that their movements are closer to dancing than actual fighting. The androgynous elf’s catch phrase, “Don't Cross Me!” trends on social media every time they live stream. The real-world identity of Noble_Dancer is a complete mystery and Ashe plans to keep it that way.

This is most certainly a soul mate story. The premise is that not everyone in the world has a soul mate and the ones that do are called Soul Bound. If they don’t find their Match or if their Match rejects them, they slip into depression and die. The story would be that Ashe and my partner’s character are Soul Mates. I wouldn’t mind if the bond was Romantic or Platonic but have no desire to write an Antagonistic bond. I don’t really care about the gender or asexuality of the other character. Just know that I will not be “curing” Ashe of their asexuality.
Full Name: Tabitha Jackson. Her nickname is Tabs.
Age: 18
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 155 lbs.
Brief Bio: Tabitha is the oldest of three children. When she was 14 her mother was in a car accident. Her twin brothers, Samuel and Darius, were 9. Their father was a prominent businessman and wasn’t sure what to do with three young children. He does love them, and he does do his best. He just doesn’t really know how to parent. He’s solution is to make sure he uses his sizable wealth to make sure his kids don’t want anything. However, he doesn’t really take care of them. So, Tabitha became responsible for things like dinner and keeping the house clean. That does mean she had to grow up quickly. She is quiet and introverted in public. With her brothers she is playful and joking unless she needs to be stern. They all go to prestigious private schools. Their father takes the two boys to school while Tabitha takes public transportation. She keeps to herself. As she reads, plays on her phone, and people watches.
Likes: Tabitha practically adores her brothers. She likes playing video games and reading. Her favorite foods are enchiladas, McDonald’s chicken nuggets, and gingerbread. Her favorite color is lilac. She enjoys dance class. (She’s not good. She not bad either. She’s just average, but she still has fun.) Her favorite subject is History, and she is going to college to study archelogy or history. She hasn’t decided. She also enjoys sleep though she is a decent studier.
Dislikes: Tabitha hates bullies, arrogant jerks, and prideful people. She hates anything mint or peppermint flavored and hates pudding with a passion. She’s not fond of writing by hand or running for no good reason. Neon colors hurt her head. She hates the fact that she had to get up as early as she does.
Daemon: Incrementum is Tabitha’s daemon. His nickname is Ink. He has not settled yet. For a while both he and Tabs thought he had settled. For the week after her mother died, he took the form of a small white rabbit with black marks that looked like a pot of ink spilled on him. They were both surprised when he shifted to a huge wolf to protect the twins and their daemons from a bully. Even now he favors the small white rabbit form though he doesn’t think that’s what he’ll be forever. His forms are always white and look like a pot of ink spilled on him though the ink pattern changes. Neither he nor Tabs think he will be settling any time soon. Neither one of them are quite ready to grow up.

This is a story about what it means to grow up and mature why still being completely yourself. It’s a story about heartbreak and triumph and hope and despair. It’s definitely a slice of life story. It has a modern setting. Other than that, I am flexible. It could be fun.
Name: Alistair Valent
Age: Really, he is 23 but his fake ID say 25
Gender: Alistair is a male-omega
Sexuality: Homosexual
Appearance: He is five foot four inches, lithe and slender, with big caramel brown eyes, and brunet hair the color of mocha. Alistair doesn’t eat properly, and it shows on his lanky frame. His hair reaches just past his shoulders and he usually ties it back in a French braid or pony tail. He has a thin pale scar on his collarbone and another a thick scar on his left leg that is just under his knee cap. His back is a crisscross of what looks to be healed belt marks. Just where his neck meets his head, he has a knobby scar that is hidden by his hair. His upper right arm has a series of parallel scars in various stages of healing. (As an aside, Alistair is left-handed.) His fingers are covered in callouses from playing the guitar.
Personality: Alistair is a flirt. He flirts with everyone, no matter their gender, until they tell him to stop. Then he stops, no questions asked. However, he has to be told to stop. He is energetic and cheerful though he can grow morose and depressed like flipping a switch. He is musically inclined and can play just about every instrument he can get his hands on. He prefers the guitar. Alistair is a free spirit that doesn’t make promises he can’t keep. He is fiercely independent and doesn’t let his omega status slow him down. He can be cruelly vicious when the situation calls for it.
Brief Bio: Alistair was raised by a single mom, Edith, until she married Kevin when he was 12. At 13 his mother lost the battle to cancer and found peace. Alistair presented at 14 which was when Kevin began to beat him for being a “no good sissy boy.” At 15 Alistair overheard Kevin talking to one of his friends about selling him when he turned 16. The friend was allowed to “sample the goods” a week before hand. Alistair then ran away the day before his sixteenth birthday. He never completed high school and since he can play just about every instrument ever, makes a living as a busker. He summers in New York City and winters in Orlando.

I guess I should start by saying this is an A/B/O story. I would like the person playing opposite Alistair to play a male alpha who is 15 to 20 years older than Alistair, a member of high society, and a seemingly hard fellow with a heart of gold, but I can be flexible. Alistair was created to basically check every box in every love story ever and to be honest sometime I need a simple story for both practice and fun. And Alistair is so much fun to write. I'm good working on the specific details of the world with someone.
Age:
Katrina is 26
Gender:
Katrina is female.
Race:
Katrina is definitely human.
Appearance:
If a passerby was to get one quick glance at Katrina, they would assume that she wasn’t dangerous and quickly disregard her. A second glance might revel the truth. She has grey eyes that go from unassuming to deadly in a literal blink of an eye. She is taller than even some men standing at 6 feet even in bare feet. She has a lithe fit physique that indicates years if not decades or physical training. Her hands are covered in callouses. When loose her think brown hair falls to her waist, but most of the time it is collected in a halo braid atop her head. She wears cotton pants as well as a cotton blouse. Over this she wears a steel breastplate, steel bracers, and steel knee high boots. Her coat is held in place with a leather shoulder pad. It is a heavy outfit that she wears with ease.
Personality:
Katrina is a private person that speaks only when spoken to. Even then she tends to speak only if her opinion is asked for or a response is necessary. Some find this disarming and she uses it to her advantage. Her thoughts tend to be sarcastic, cynical, and full of dry wit. She thinks over everything she says to ensure that this mostly rude thoughts do not slip out on accident. When they do, she physically cringes, but rarely apologizes. She simply moves on. She tends to do a job while others are in the middle of discussing it. She will simply do what needs doing. She has been caught helping down on their luck farmers for a day or two, handing beggar children sweets and coins, and bandaging up injured animals. She brushes off compliments and praise while inwardly screeching in terror while receiving them.
Class/Skills
Katrina is a fighter or possibly a ranger. She fights things with her fists and the variety of weapons she has on her person. She knows practically nothing of magic. Her fighting style is less head on and more duck and weave. She does her best to avoid being hit as she waits for the perfect moment to strike. When she strikes it is will almost deadly precision and staggering strength. That being said she is human. She falls prey to fatigue, hunger, thirst, and blood loss. She can go a longer than most humans and even if she is afraid of something, she will do her best to brush it off to continue the fight. Eventually she will succumb to physical and mental fatigue. She knows a wide range of martial styles and is proficient at almost all of them.
Equipment:
What weapons does Katrina not have? She has long thin knifes tuck into both sides of both her boots as well as thin sabers on both her calves. Then she has a pouch of throwing knifes on the outside of both her thighs. Attached to her right hip is a leather whip. Her left hip sports two swords, one a rapier, the other a gladius. Attached to the small of her back is a box containing a length of chain. Attached to the end of this chain is a battle fan. Various pockets on the outside of her coat contain smoke bombs of assorted sizes. The pockets on the inside of her pockets spot let more knives in a variety of shapes and lengths. She also keeps a few spearheads in there. On the inside of both her forearms short bo staffs are strapped. A twist of the base of both these staffs will reveal small blades. Attached to her wrists are grappling wire that she can shoot out to gain height, but respooling the wire is no fun. At her mid back are two short swords. Across her whole back is a broad sword as well as a quiver of arrows. She carries the short bow. She wears a set of knuckledusters on her left fingers, and a ring with a poisoned spike in it on her right pointer. Around her neck is a length of chain with a heavy weight on the end that she can unhook and use to beat people with. This is a short list. She’s that one person when you ask them to leave all of their weapons at the door you will both be standing there for at least ten minutes as she keeps remembering more things. If there is a space on her person that isn’t taken up by a weapon it’s simply because she hasn’t figured out how to put one there. Yet.
Other than the practical armory, Katrina has a small traveling pack that contains things like a sewing kit, a fork, knife, and plate, a basic bedroll, and basic stationary. It also has yet more knifes and everything she needs to keep her weapons in perfect working order. She also has a waterskin and basic spices. Besides her weapons she has just enough to survive till she gets to the next town. She also has a handful coins.
There is also Rolf, her hawk, that she took in when he still had his down feathers. She raised him and the hawk imprinted on her. She has trained him to hunt rabbits for dinner and to claw out the eyes of her enemies.
History:
Katrina Valance began training to be a monster hunter as soon as she could walk. She does not know if the person that raise her if actually related to her or not. All she knows is that the man that called himself her uncle was cruel and demanding. Mistakes were not tolerated and punished swiftly. She quickly learned to strive for perfection. As such she knows that she is good at what she does. When she was 18, she was given her first assignment. She was more successful than anyone thought she would be. She was given several more assignments. At 21 she left during the middle of an assignment and never looked back. Now she takes odd jobs in order to stay away from her so called family. Since she is not part of a guild she can’t charge as much for her skills as they are worth. Still, she doesn’t want to be connected to anyone ever again.

This backstory is the barebones version. Katrina's history/backstory has gone though so many incarnations it's not even funny. The only real similarities is that she is on the outs with her family. So, I would be willing to modify her backstory for pretty much any scenario. However, I don't have any real plot ideas, but I am open to ideas.
Exactly what that says. I’ll confess that I don’t have a lot of experience role-playing it. It is one of my favorite tags on AO3. I would be willing to try either role.
I mean the non-sexual part. I really mean it. Just because we are writing bondage or sensory kink doesn’t mean we need to include sex or smut. I used to write it all the time, but people always wanted smut at some point. I miss the kink. I do not miss the smut. If you’re hoping you can convince me to do smut, please move on. I would be willing to try either role, but I do have more practice in the sub role. There are a few kinks I’m not willing to write sex or not. Message me for a list of kinks I’m interested in.
This is more of a plot and could be good for a 1x1 or a small group. If we do decide to do a small group, I would like a Co-GM. The premise is that there are a bunch of super powered heroes in the world. They have powers like super strength or summoning demons. Then there are the regular people with no powers at all. Then there are the ones with useless powers like changing the color of their shirt or knowing the temperature of water at any given time or knowing what time it is in Mexico City no matter where you are. Basically, powers that make them not regular humans, but not actually useful in fighting crime or defending against alien invasions. We would be playing as members of this third group looking for support or our place in the world. Message with interest or questions.
Anyways I look forward to hearing from you if you’re interested. Have a nice day!
