Gavyn Horne stands at 6’3”, weighing about 210lbs., a muscular structure and large, powerful hands. He has medium-long black hair pulled back and leading to a thick black beard. He has hard, strong facial features with triangular eyebrows, deep-set amber eyes, straight slightly pointed nose and a wide mouth.

Gavyn has an impressive skill set including: espionage, infiltration, hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, arms dealing, acting/voice modulation (able to use other accents flawlessly) and identical memory (can remember complex numbers and documents with nearly 100% accuracy).
Gavyn is a stone-cold Imperial Agent... most of the time. He comes across as cold, logical and observant but behind his Imperial shell he is an affectionate, hopeless romantic searching for companionship. Having come from a world of arms dealing, he has a flirty, scoundrel quality to him that he had abandoned for the most part when he joined Imperial Intelligence. In social situations, Gavyn is generally very open to conversation, but mysterious about the details surrounding his life and work. When he is working (which is, most of the time) he is no bullshit, to-the-point, hard working, ambitious and a risk-taker. When “off-duty” he often faces the memories of his wife’s murder—by the empire—years before.
Gavyn is an impressive agent, and all of his flaws lie in his personality, not his skill-set. He can be quite the risk-taker which has led him to some close calls and the memories of his wife’s murder have an incredible toll on him as he constantly suppresses them in order to fulfill his tasks so his daughter doesn’t fall into the same fate as her mother. He also has a loyalty problem which has led to some shaky relationships with his superiors.
Gavyn’s primary goal (at least according to the Galactic Empire) is to investigate a defected soldier that fled to the Coruscant Undercity. Gavyn’s real primary goal is to rescue his daughter from the Empire and flee to a region beyond even their grasp to build a new life.

Gavyn was born on Naboo into a successful family of nobility. He was raised to become a Senator that would one day help represent Naboo in the Galactic Senate. From an early age he despised the idea of being involved in politics, so after a lot of fighting he began stealing starships and going off into the outer rim to be an arms dealer with a friend of his. He became adept at running guns for the likes of the Black Sun, the Mandalorians and the Confederacy amidst the late Clone Wars. In the midst of the Clone Wars, he was banned from Naboo as his family had cut all ties with him; he was now alone in the galaxy.
A few years later he met Alena Dystra, a small-time mercenary who did odd jobs for the Black Sun. After crossing paths many times, they fell in love and were married within a year. They began to work together on running guns, as Alena wanted to get out of mercenary work. When she became pregnant with their daughter, Sara Horne they were poised to give up the gun running life and start a new, legitimate life as farmers on Dantooine.
A few years later, when Sara had turned about six years old, the Galactic Empire as greatly established throughout the galaxy, and as they began to finally, truly settle on Dantooine, Gavyn was given one last job that would give them the boost they needed to start a new farm. Little did he know that he was robbing an Imperial Weapons Cache, which got him caught by the Empire. He was arrested, along with his family who was later picked up by the Empire when his wife began to ask around about his disappearance.
The Empire saw use for someone of his skill, but when he tried to escape and rescue they killed his wife and forced him to gather intel for them. He agreed as long as his daughter was kept safe, which she was—imprisoned on Bastion along with others in her similar situation. Gavyn spent the next few years honing his skills until he proved himself worthy to become Cipher Agent 18. His first mission as a Cipher Agent brings him to the Undercity of Coruscant...
