i have to tell you something. i have never actually read any of the books. so if i write my post, i won't be able to utilize all the concepts that one learns from reading the books. i'm basically starting fresh.
woops... after writing my ic post, i just realized that you're in the south and i'm in the north. can you pretend you're in the north and is in the same weyr as me so our two characters can interact?
@Lunamaria Hawke I read your post and you have definitely not read the books. lol. but I think I can still work under this AU premise and not completely as if was Pern. but if you still want to know the background. There is a pern wiki that might help if you just google. So I will keep on playing still loosely based on pern but will follow your lead.
do my people in my weyr know about the concept of INBETWEEN? do my people know that you came from the future or the past or from another place on pern (and teleported to your current location in my weyr)?
@Lunamaria Hawke up to you really but this is an innate ability of dragons. I was going to toy with the idea of alternate dimensions as Pern dragons and riders don’t fight each other. I would play off you.
my original idea was that, in this alternate dimension, my hero uses your hero's teleportation ability to teleport to other weyrs to gain allies against the evil bad guy, Bryo
@Lunamaria Hawke yeah that’s fine. I could teach you about “my Pern” and you can teach me about yours IC. This should help explain why I know little of your reality and it would definitely be a tactical advantage in your war
