Chieftain Magura

Appearance: Magura is a massive man, standing at about 6'3" with a broad build and strong muscles. He has wild long black hair which comes down to about his mid-back, and a massive beard to compliment it, both of which are often braided in places for decoration. His eyes are dark brown in color, appearing almost black, and his skin is dark copper. His hair has become streaked with silver and gray, mostly around the temples, as has parts of his beard. His face is lined, and lately there has been a weakness in his demeanor betraying his age and illness. Magura's favored outfit is a pair of pants made from brown bear fur, a simple but sturdy pair of boots out of mammoth hide, and a large cloak made from the pelt of a musk ox.

Personality Traits: Magura is a loud and jovial man for the most part, easy to get along with when in a good mood. He is fond of telling and hear stories around the campfire, and likes to get to know the others in the tribe individually. Still, he is not always so jolly; when angered, he becomes like a storm, ominous and sometimes destructive, though he would never hurt a member of his tribe without very, very good reason. Even so, such is the change that some say lightning crackles in his beard when he is enraged. He can punish harshly for mistakes, especially if it put people in danger. Though he can at times be stubborn and blinded by his own idealism, he tries to be realistic and logical, and will always listen to the council of the elders and druids, even if he personally feels they are wrong.

Special Skills: Magura is a very good hunter, though due to his size he is better suited to cornering and taking down larger prey- such as bears and mastodons- more directly, as opposed to sneaking up on smaller forest prey such as deer. He has always had relatively poor eyesight, something which has only gotten worse with age, but he has always still managed to function well enough regardless, as his other senses compensate. As of late, his hearing has also begun to get worse, making it more difficult for him to get around with the combination of bad sight and hearing.

Druid Tsuka

Name: Tsuka

Appearance: Tsuka is a bit odd-looking, many of his traits almost seeming mismatched. He is rather small and quite unimposing, standing only about 5'7" and with a slender frame. He is overall fairly delicate, almost fragile in appearance, and the way he shuffles around makes him look quite a bit older than he is. His shaggy hair is naturally two different colors; most if it is dark brown, almost black, but he has a wide streak of pale blonde above his right ear. Similarly, his eyes are also two different colors, with the left being dark brown and the right being light blue-gray. His hair falls to about his mid-back, and he keeps parts of it in braids; as if to accentuate his natural oddity, he also tends to braid in different-colored strands of fur and hair from animals, as well as beads, feathers, and other odds and ends. He generally wears simple furs, preferring soft rabbit furs in pale colors. He also possesses a cloak made from the pelt of a white bear, with the head as a hood, and which is more than enough to cover his entire body.

Personality Traits: Tsuka is generally considered aloof and perhaps a bit abrasive by others in the tribe; not arrogant, but just a bit prickly. He is very straightforward and doesn't like to verbally dance around topics, especially unpleasant ones. For this reason, he can be a good person to go to to help solve a problem, as he is a logical thinker and is not afraid to tell people when they're being pigheaded. However, he has always had relatively few casual personal relationships (outside people seeking advice from he or the spirits), mainly because he is actually very socially awkward, perhaps due in part to his relative isolation from an early age while training to be a druid. He mostly just finds it difficult to actually relate to others or to engage in pleasantry, and so he generally doesn't bother to try. Besides that, he's a man of simple pleasures and can often be found doing or saying (mostly to himself) things that may seem a little odd.

Special Skills: Has very good balance and reflexes, but is otherwise quite unathletic. He is very good at gauging peoples' general emotions and attitudes by things like body language and the tone of their voice, and can usually tell if they're lying (though not always).

Kachiro: Hunter

Appearance: Kachiro is scrawny and thin, with a build more akin to a seeker than a hunter. He stands straight at 6'2", but he slouches slightly, so this is hard to discern. He has wiry limbs, long legs, and spindly fingers, good for running and climbing. Kachiro has long chestnut hair framing an ovular face, with tan skin and bronze eyes. He has slight stubble decorating his cheeks and jaw. There are three long scars across his chest from a cougar that he killed during his apprenticeship. He now wears its pelt as a cloak, along with pants from rabbit and raccoon skins and light sandals made from grass, wood, and bits of fur. He carries his spear with him, with a bundle of his throwing spears secured with twine to his back, and a small hide bag on his pants.

Personality Traits: Kachiro is quiet, confident, and cunning. As a hunter, he likes exploring and ambushing small animals, and in conversation, he does much the same thing. He is clever and skilled in conversation and rhetoric. He is quite introverted, enjoying solo hunting trips and spending time by himself. Kachiro is open to romantic relationships, but is aware that the closer in family you are with your mate, the more likely the children will be druids (genetically abnormal). He respects druids as a whole for what they do for the tribe, but doesn't want his children to become druids themselves, as he wants to maintain a close parental bond within the customs of the tribe. Kachiro places importance on customs and the culture of the tribe, and enjoys the ceremonies and rituals the tribe does. He admires his uncle, and his father. His mother, Kaa, passed away due to post-childbirth illness. His father, Chiro, after becoming to old to maintain his hunter duties, became a firetender, and Kachiro makes an effort to spend time with him.

Special Skills: Kachiro has sharp eyes and a good sense of balance. He is not very physically strong, but is quite agile, both in intellect and in movement. He is good at setting traps and ambushes, and is adept at using both his stabbing spear. He enjoys using his throwing spears, long thin lances of cedar whittled to a point, and has brought down deer with them before.

History: Kachiro was a quiet child. He was dutiful, always listening to the firetenders and providing help where he could. He liked to mimic certain words and phrases that the firetenders and adults of the tribe used, leading him to speak like an adult. He was always clever, though not necessarily mainipulative; he dislikes tricking other people, and has always disliked bullying, even when he was with the firetenders.

Ever since Kachiro saw his father use a spear alongside Chief Magura to kill a bear, he was enamoured by it; its simplicity, its duality, and its elegance. He knew he wanted to use a spear, so with that goal in mind, he trained. He trained tirelessly with whatever sticks he could find, and asked his father for help whenever he could. When he became old enough, he apprenticed as a hunter, and learned how to use traps. Still, he trained, and by 17, the hunters decided he was good enough to be taken on a journey.

The reason for the journey was simple: a cougar was killing game and stealing food from the hunters. It was fast and strong, and Chief Magura wanted it dead. So Kachiro, Chiro, and a few others set out. The journey was not long, but it was the dead of winter, and when night came the air was deathly cold. Kachiro sat shivering with his father and the other hunters, and decided he had to urinate. He went some way into the woods, but in doing so he came face to face with the very same cougar that they were set to track down! Knowing from his father that running away was useless, Kachiro picked up his spear and got ready.

The fight was gruesome. Kachiro managed to land several glancing blows, and had pierced the cougar's ribcage. However, Kachiro was not entirely unscathed, as the cougar managed to land a long blow across his chest that bled quite heavily. Woozy from blood loss and knowing that this was last chance, Kachiro rammed his spear through the cougar's mouth, then passed out. Upon regaining consciousness, he found that he had successfully killed the cougar, and that he had survived, although by a thread; the other hunters managed to apply enough snow and ice to staunch the bleeding so Kachiro could be brought back to the tribe. This was thought of as a miracle.

Following his fight, Kachiro had the shapers make the cougar's hide into a cloak, and one of the ribs into a curved skinning knife. After becoming a full hunter, Kachiro finally became satisfied with his spear skills. Since he accomplished that goal, he is looking for another one.

Relationships: Nephew of Magura, son of Chiro and the late Kaa. Admires Tsuka, would like to get to know him better, maybe become friends.

Other: His five-foot long spear is hewn from heavy oak, with a slightly crystalline rock filed to a sharp edge affixed to one end. He also has throwing lances, two feet long, which he throws by hand. He carries a bundle of twine, a skinning knife made from cougar bone, and a few especially sharp rocks with him, in a small hide bag.

Kachiro is interested in teaching Killik how to set traps for small game as a hunter. Killik peaked his interest, after seeing him use a spear.

Standing at 5'1", Killik is notably short. His amber-colored body is well-toned due to growing up as a rowdy child, and his training to be a hunter for his people. Despite the stature, he stands straight, and along with his expression it carries his confidence. His black hair is shoulder-length, and is almost always seen in a ponytail tied by torn vines aside from moments such as bathing. His attire was the result of his own hunts, gray wolf pelts gracing his small upper and lower body in a warm embrace, allowing Killik to carry the memories of his successful hunts with him.

PERSONALITY

Killik is a very confident individual; Eager to prove himself as well as a bit of a show off, and willing to put himself forward in any situation. Often judged harshly for his childish antics and thrill-seeking, he's easily bored roaming around the village and tends to go find trouble instead of waiting for it to come towards him. Despite being so eager to jump into danger, he doesn't do so as recklessly as one might think: Underneath the young man's antics he's a surprisingly quick thinker. Where the average man would still be considering their method of attack, Killik would have already decided his optimal position and prepared his ambush.

In his community, Killik is an extremely helpful youth despite his occasional annoyances: Always wanting to keep busy, he'll run errands, make deliveries, fetch things from the wilderness. But when he has nothing to do, he can be caught occasionally causing minor trouble for others, to make himself laugh. He would never do anything to harm his family, but poking at them from time to time amuses him. When it comes to other youths like himself, Killik is often competitive but friendly. He likes occasionally helping teach the children, but is a bad influence on them depending on who you ask. He would put his life on the line to assure their safety, though that would go for just about anyone he knows.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Killik's small but extremely agile and stealthy. Combined with his wits, he is perfect for hunting fast prey and creatures that would be highly alert. His ability to quickly make decisions while scanning a situation makes him competent when it comes to larger prey or even other people as well, setting traps and making distractions or even covering his scent to take advantage of his targets. A prodigy, explaining his large amount of confidence out in the wild.

At home, Killik doesn't make his worth with particular talents: Instead just making sure things get from point A to point B without hassle. He offers himself in a surprisingly small and humble role to ensure things go smoothly when possible, though claims to simply do it out of boredom because it's more productive than throwing stones into the lake.

HISTORY

When Killik was born, his survival wasn't assured. No birth really is, but he was quite small and appeared weak in the eyes of those watching over him. Not the expected image of the son of Magura, for certain. He had spent his first ten days being heavily watched over with uncertainty, his mark lasting nearly six of them and some would claim that was the sign that he was blessed to live for one purpose or another. Even after being revealed and named, he was treated with care as an infant given his exceptionally vulnerable appearance, but to the surprise of many he made it through perfectly healthy.

As he aged, the only strange thing about the child was his height. Compared to other males his age, he was shorter; He lacked mass compared to them but never let it get him down. He was a curious child but a quick learner; The firetenders had no issues with him aside from the occasional case of him getting distracted. When he put his mind to a task, he could execute it. When being a troublemaker, some of the adults even had issue keeping up with the boy, as he used his speed and size to scramble through places adults couldn't, and hid until he thought it was safe. He'd get in trouble once he came out, of course, but it didn't change the fact that he still escaped their grasp on multiple occasions.

Having not been physically blessed, the firetenders were worried about his eagerness to hunt. Tales from his father about his great hunts and witnessing the man bring his prey home was inspiring to the boy. He wanted to be able to tell glorious stories as well, and work in the favor of his tribe. But he was told with his body that they referred to as 'feeble' he should look into taking another role, but he refused and was insulted by their words. He was Killik; named after his grandfather on his mother's side, who in his own right was a talented hunter! Not to mention the son of Magura! Where others were naturally gifted, he trained his body to be as strong as he could make it while carrying those heavy names upon his back: Exercise, and eating the biggest juicy bugs he could find. He honed his skills; His improved strength aiding in his aim with a throwing spear, and his agility aiding with keeping up in hand-to-hand combat. All that running and hiding when he was younger evolved into the ability to easily traverse rough terrain and stealth. He proved himself worthy of becoming an apprentice hunter, and at age 13 that apprenticeship truly started.

His hunting skills required fine-tuning, but by learning from those around him and adapting those teachings into a method that worked in his mind, he greatly improved in his first two years of apprenticeship. He needed to keep his personality in check, but the skill was there. Now in his third year of apprenticeship, he'd surely only improve further as he made his way towards full-adulthood. Though if his thrill-seeker attitude or the harsh realities of life got him into too much trouble before then... Then that was just how life intended it to be.

Agleth stands at 5'5", and is a very stocky woman. She appears as if she could wrestle down most men in the village with her thick but muscly physique, notably big boned and bulky making some refer to her as a small bear or equally terrifying beasts. She has dark hair that curls as it grows out, and to keep it from being messy or getting into her face as she works, she keeps it very short. Above her large brown-colored eyes lay two thick eyebrows that help express her emotions, her face having a slight meaty chubbiness to it like a babyface except constantly covered in dirt or something else equally filthy. She has a small nose and similar lips, freckles dotting her chestnut-colored face. Agleth prefers to make her own attire, but usually just goes for something that is a bit bigger than she is for comfort. Anyone that wants to fight her on her using supplies this way definitely can.

PERSONALITY

Agleth isn't a bad woman persay; She's usually pretty chummy if not a tad on the free-speaking side. She's the type that doesn't have a filter, tends to say what she wants, and then will happily fight you if you get upset about it. Years of being judged by her own father for not being a man and treating her poorly for it has led her down a rather aggressive and tempermental path: Making demands of her is the easiest way to attract her anger and she'll relentlessly snarl and lecture until she thinks you've heard enough.

Agleth is an extremely protective person; Of her friends, but especially her blood. Her daughter is a prized jewel in the tribe in her eyes, and while she isn't safe from lectures, they come less out of actual anger and more out of fear for her safety. She isn't afraid to interrogate the youths too close to her daughter for the sake of wanting her safe; But knows that she can take care of herself and has to make her own judgement on individuals. Anyone who dares to cross boundaries and cause harm can expect Agleth to legitimately attempt to snap them in half; The woman relentlessly violent in retort to threats to her tribe as she takes no nonsense from outsiders.

That part of her terrifies even the men in the tribe; Knowing that if Agleth says something, she's willing to go through with it. Surprisingly blunt yet enthusiastic, you can't ever tell if she's joking or partially serious until it's too late. Most would decide it's best to leave the woman be; Let her work, let her keep to herself. But anyone who doesn't deserve trouble usually won't find themselves falling victim of her wrath. Unless a certain little girl starts lying.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Agleth is a shaper for a reason: She took the profession as a form of stress relief as she likes spending time working and having a reason to not be bothered. Be it a tool, a new home, or just some fancy accessory, Agleth is very crafty and can get the job done. To the surprise of some, she also has impressive trading skills: Her more fancy accessories attracting the simple-minded and allowing her to get better trade for her value. She's observant to the point of knowing when a scam was going on, and carries skepticism with every potential trade encounter with other tribes.

Other than that, Agleth is notably good at hand-to-hand combat. She has one of the strongest grips the village has ever seen; Once she grabs you, you aren't going anywhere. She'll snap limbs if necessary, showing immense brutality when threatened though is more merciful on her own tribe, insisting on knocking them out cold instead. She's also not afraid to headbutt, bite. or use dirty shots to get an advantage: Honor is a weakness in a fight, it's life or death, not some children's game.

HISTORY

Agleth was assumed male at birth: At least by her father and his eagerness to raise a son in the way of a shaper apprentice. When she was revealed to be female, he felt a ping of irritation and became more distant, leaving the girl in the care of her mother and the firetenders. She was a dependable individual; Perhaps a bit easy to anger but she got along with others quite well. Despite her younger years being distanced from her father, she still admired his building skills. While she was perfectly capable of being a hunter if she so chose, she insisted on learning to be a shaper.

This lead her to a bit of a reluctant apprenticeship with her father. He was rough on her; Insisted she toughen up more, and scolded her harshly over any small mistake while barely praising her success. This made Agleth more cold, but she learned and focused on her duties regardless. At this point in her life she was distant from most of the tribe; She felt hurt emotionally and a bit numb. At least until a boy came along.

He sat next to her while she was practicing her carving. Asked what she was trying to make. She said a stake to jab in his chest to try and get him to leave, but he laughed instead at her brutish comment. He said she was free to try, but all she'd be doing is losing a friend. She retorted they weren't friends: But he then reached out towards the carving she was surprisingly not ruining out of frustration, and he complemented her craftsmanship. She didn't respond to that, at least for a few minutes.

Eventually she thanked him, and he said their appreciation of eachother made them friends. This was gross to Agleth but she decided to tolerate and keep him around. He was a hunter apprentice by the name of Rinn, and kind of funny. As they grew up together they became better and better friends. The only person Agleth really liked being around, until he pulled her out of her shell and she got more social. As they both became full-fledged adults, they began to learn more about eachother than just friendship. They were close; Very close. And eventually, they decided to bond forever, exchanging their totems and partaking in the process of marriage.

At age 23, Agleth gave birth to a daughter. She cherished the baby girl, as did Rinn. But they both had to return to their duties and allow the young girl, named Thrinn, to be cared for by the firetenders. Things went smoothly for awhile: Both Agleth and Rinn loved to check in on their daughter and see how she was growing. It would be unfortunate that at the age of 28 Rinn had died in the wilds; Having been overcome by what could only be assumed was a vicious dire wolf, or perhaps even a pack of them. This left Agleth heartbroken, and she craved the blood of the creature that murdered her love: But never went out to seek the creature as she needed to be with the tribe for the sake of her daughter, and to provide her services to the tribe as a whole.

Ever since, she's tried to keep her positive attitude, but tends to spend time alone. She cherishes time she spends with Thrinn, and does interact with the tribe, however a looming cloud over her head keeps her down quite often, though she doesn't show it to anybody. Despite the time that had passed, she still hadn't grieved nearly enough. All she could do is carry on his will to raise a beautiful and healthy daughter, and to keep herself safe. For the sake of all he did for her, she tries her best to keep the gifts he gave to her. Especially the friendship that caused her to be the woman she is today, instead of the absolute loner she had at one point been burdened with being.

Appearance: Xaiel stands at approximately 5’7, most of her height coming from long limbs, toned with lean muscles after years of training. Her lithe form resembles that of a dancer with a delicate curve to her waist. She walks with grace, as if gliding across the ground and always is one to stand in confidence with a straight posture. A few noticeable claw marks run across from one of her shoulder blades and further into her back in a diangle pattern but she wears it with pride. Her face is a heart shape with eyes so dark brown that the iris gets lost in some areas of lighting, full rosy lips, and skin like that of a painted horse, the caramel tone that dominates most of her skin spotted with white to give her quite a unique look to gaze upon. The most noticeable variance of her appearance though is the fact that half of her waist length tresses are dark as ebony and the other half, pale platinum that seems to take on a silvery tone. Xaiel will often keep her hair flowing as is but every now and then she will split it into two separate braids or will add in multiple small braids decorated with different beads as well as feathers. She doesn’t care what kind of pelt she wears as long as the fur is soft since her skin is slightly sensitive in certain areas since the patterned spots appeared on her skin which is why she tends to lean to those of rabbits or the larger cats of the forest. It is also because of her skin sensitivity that she will wear body paint of different colors now and then as that seems to help against the sun.

Personality Traits: Xaiel is the kind of woman that always seems to be there when someone needs a person to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. She is very loyal and protective of her friends and those she views as her makeshift family. She is soft-spoken and caring to those around her which would make most think she is not cut out to be a fighter but that image of her will change rather quickly if someone gets on her bad side. She is known for having a sharp tongue and will cut you down to size flawlessly with her words if it is deserved. She won’t mind taking physical action if it comes to that but she has tried to get control of her fiery temper.

She can seem shy or nervous with crowds sometimes but this is mostly due to the new position within the tribe. She hates failure and is determined to prove herself in her new assignment just like in her old one. She obviously has insecurities but she knows that sometimes you have to keep moving forward to rise above those problems. Those that know her on a personal level then find that she is fearless and is willingly spontaneous on the fly. She is happy to give her input freely and always open to change, rolling with the punches of life.

Special Skills: She is incredibly flexible and agile, with fast reflexes. What she lacks in brute force, she makes up for with cunning tactics and quick thinking. She used to be particularly good at setting traps or even being the bait to lead the creature into one. She was also pretty skilled at fishing, having enough patience and practice to get multiples with ease. The sudden change in her life and adjustment to her new role, has proven that she is actually a successful healer of the physical form instead of the emotional. She can give advice but it doesn’t come as easily and naturally.

History: She was born in the time of year where the leaves are alight with dazzling color, under a moonless starry night. Unfortunately, the blessed evening was drowned in sorrow as her mother’s spirit passed on while trying to deliver her twin brother, the first birth having been too much of a struggle for the first time mother, her body not being able to handle it. During the three nights following their birth, only the Druids were present, the twins father having made a fatal mistake of wandering too far from the hunting group and was slayed in his prime before he even had a chance to know that he would be a father. The Druids watched as her brother’s mark faded after the first night and the boy becoming more fragile as time passed, whereas Xaiel continued to stay strong. It was decided on the third night that she would be presented to the entire tribe and given a name while her brother would remain behind.

The days passed, the Druids ever hopeful but it was not enough and on the seventh day, her brother had joined the rest of her family. Orphaned, Xaiel was instantly placed in the Firetenders hands instead of bonding with her parents or family members as one usually did. This did not last long however as a couple came forward, having only lost their own daughter a few weeks before and deciding to take her in as their own. They bonded with her and made sure to tell her about the two people that had brought her into this world so she would know where she came from. Under the Firetenders and her adoptive famiy’s care, she flourished. She took the knowledge she was given, soaking it up like a sponge. She tried not to cause them too much trouble though she found herself to be a bit stubborn everyone once and awhile. The years passed and when it came time for her to pick an apprenticeship, she had gone for being a hunter like her birth father before her, much to the worry of her adoptive parents.

She had debated on many of the roles leading up to her 13th year of birth, from being a Shaper like her father, building homes or finding something to craft but she had never felt very creative as he was. Jahal could just look at an empty spot and envision what to create or build exactly what someone needed before they realized it was necessary. Tinkering came naturally to him and she couldn’t see herself succeeding. It was then that she thought like being like her mother, Maati, exploring the land and assisting the tribe with all the goods they managed to scavenge on their trips or updating the maps of the area as times changed. It had been far more tempting than being a Shaper but it still had not called to her as strongly. Xaiel has the greatest urge to protect and while the other jobs do the same thing in a different manner, she wanted to be with the hunters. Fighting to keep everyone else protected and fed or defending those weaker than herself even if it meant brute force. The thought of building traps, coming up with solutions like a puzzle was thrilling. It was all she ever thought of doing.

The years passed and she proved herself to be quite skilled, easily joining into the fold with the other hunters in the group. Endless days of learning to track, trap, provide , and protect awaited her and she loved every second. Everything felt perfect and for a time, it was. It was when she reached the age 15, that she earned the worst wound that had ever been inflicted on her by an animal. Xaiel took an attack from a Saber-Tooth, protecting one of her fellow hunters from a sudden attack. The creature's claws would have slashed at his throat from where he stood frozen in terror so instead, she had quickly shoved him back and curled protectively into herself, as well as around him. She knew she wouldn’t have enough time to attack or run so she did what was best to save another. It had been searing pain and if it wasn’t for the adults jumping in quickly to attack and defend, it probably would have been her death.

Xaiel had fought through the pain, running on pure adrenaline and assisting her group to the very end even though they had told her to stay back due to the injury. She had been stubborn and angry, not wanting to give up or retreat like a coward. She had been the one to make the final landing blow before passing out. It had been a long time before she had been healed enough to be without the Druids care or constant hovering and even longer before she was able to get back into the hunt. Those had to be the worst days of her young life. The only thing that has made it a little better, was the creature's pelt that had been gifted to her and to this day is one of her favorites. Things settled down for her after that time, no problems arising until a year later. It hadn’t even registered to her at first, just some simple pale spots on her hands and a bit on her feet. She passed it off as nothing, skin changes all the time and new marks appear so nothing to worry about. It grew into a much greater issue the more it spread, spots of her hair slowly changing color and what was just a bit on her hands and feet were now noticed on her arms, legs and face.

It was when these larger changes started happening that she was sat down to explain the change in her role. It was rare to be chosen not as a Druid later in life but it was hard to deny their choice. Only a few were granted this honor and she wasn’t one to turn down something so important. It was certainly a large change and one that felt out of place for her. She faltered a lot in the beginning, leaning on others for support as she pushed to learn and be better. She found herself missing her old role but at the same time, there were things she really enjoyed doing with her new role. Xaiel liked healing people, supporting them and listening to them while trying to provide advice. Slowly, things didn’t feel so strange and her life moved on. It felt like this was actually the place she belonged to.

Thrinn: Apprentice Seeker

Name: Thrinn

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Role: Apprentice Seeker

Appearance: Thrinn is the pure definition of what one would call small, standing only at a short 4’11. She has a pear shaped form to her body, legs starting to become shapely with all the walking she performs, but her arms while they don’t appear very strong are actually quite the opposite and are probably stronger than her legs at this point. She has what most would call baby-faced with her large doe-like eyes colored a honey amber brown, thick lips, and relatively short nose. Her chestnut skin dusted with dark freckles across her nose and shoulders. She can’t stand long hair as her curls end up a tangled mess so she keeps it cut short. She doesn’t mind what kind of furs she wears, just as long as she can move easily in them.

Personality Traits: Inside her chest beats the heart of an adventurer and thrill seeker. Thrinn is always prepared to test her limits and try something new, maybe even something no one has thought of before. She is always running about, trying to be there for others and provide them with the exact thing they need to complete a task, if it is within her power to do so. She’s a very sweet and carefree girl but she does tend to have a bit of a streak in curiosity and troublemaking. Unfortunately, this also means she is likely to flood people with never ending questions about everything, always wanting to find the answers and explore. This tends to get her into trouble as she will listen in or sneak around where she shouldn’t be. She likes a good challenge and to create a little mischief since she believes it keeps you on your toes. She would never purposely harm someone or cause them danger with her fun though. Her gentle heart gives her the strength to always trust in people's good intentions, so she does not bear a grudge towards anyone who has wronged her. This isn’t to say that she is a total push over though as she has no problem picking a fight or standing up for herself.

Special Skills: She has a sharp mind and nimble fingers. She probably could have become a Shaper with ease but the freedom to explore was too great a call. Her petite stature makes it easy to get into places most can’t and she is very adept at climbing and even knowing which vines are safe to swing on. She also has good endurance, able to cross large areas of land without having to stop as often even though she has short legs. She also is very good at identifying different plant life and those that are helpful or poisonous.

History: Thrinn was born in the middle of spring, a product of the deep love her parents shared. The years following her birth went smoothly, both of them giving her all the attention and love they could even though duty called them now and then just like any other parent. She grew, being a normal carefree toddler and learning to make friends while the Firefenders watched over her. It was unfortunate that in the earliest years of her life, her father had been slayed by what was suspected to be a dire wolf or possibly a pack. She has very little to no memories of that time but she later came to understand that her mother lost a piece of herself with his death. She hadn’t changed towards Thrinn, giving more than enough love for two but she could still see the sadness in her mother’s eyes even at her very young age. It was the way she often asked for hugs, trying to chase away the sadness even if for a moment. She knew that her mama was strong but that never stopped Thrinn from worrying. That even holds true to this very day.

Life doesn’t miss a beat though, continuing on as it does. Thrinn went from precocious scamp to an adventurous child, roping her friends into joining on exploration and fun. She always seemed to be moving, energetic and having trouble keeping in line. She was sharp as tack though, soaking up as much information as the Firetenders were willing to provide. It still didn’t stop her from doing small pranks or being where she didn’t belong. Her short stature and climbing skills helped her get away, that is until they got her mama involved. She loves her but it was never wise to get on her mama’s bad side. This is usually where puppy dog eyes came in handy but she seemed to be more resistant to them than most. There were not really many moments that made her stand out from the rest of the tribe but to her, it didn’t matter. She knew that one day she would make her mark and do something amazing.

She just couldn’t wait for the day she turned 13, already knowing exactly what she wanted to do. It was the biggest stepping stone to achieve her dream but she is not foolish enough to dismiss the wise teaching of her elders and try to go it alone. It seemed like time moved so slow getting to that day but when it did, she picked Seeker and loved every second of advanced learning that she didn’t get with the Firetenders. The only part that was a little unfortunate is that everyone else she was around growing up had also moved on to their own apprenticeship which means less time together. Two years flew by, giving her more adventure than she could hope for and proving she has a natural gift.

Appearance: Skiylah stands at an average height of 5'3 and weighs just a little under for someone of her age. She has braided dark blonde hair with black roots and her eyes are a dark amber color of the light brown bark someone would see on a tree. Most Although she spends a fair amount of time out in the sun because of her role in the village, the sun has left her devoid of a tan leaving her skin almost as pale as snow.
Personality Traits: Skiylah has always had a rough exterior. Throughout the village, she is known for her stoic demeanor and dutiful attitude. A hunter must be fierce, strong, and in control of their emotions and this is what she tries to embody, some who personally know her would say she embodies it a little too well. She does have an emotional side, yet it shows only on rare occasions and around the right people, yet only her sister and some of the children around the village have seen it. Much like her sister, she shares her love for children with her sister
