@Kenshi awesome, how does the rolling work in this game? do you tell us when to roll, or do we roll whenever, or do we tell you what we're doing and then you roll to see what happens?

Actually this is something I wanted to pitch for a while. At the start we choose one of the following stats:

STR / Strength For combat, endurance and physical skills.
MN / Mental For spell casting, puzzle solving and mental skills.
AG / Agility For sneaking, evading attacks and skills requiring good hand-eye coordination.

Race: Halfling
Class: Rogue
Alignment: Neutral-Good

Appearance: 3'4" with brown hair and hazel eyes.



Inventory & Equipment:
  • Thieves' Tools
  • Brown Leather Armor
  • Crossbow with a case of bolts
  • Falchion(main) and dagger(off-hand)
  • Boots of Spider Climb


Racial Abilities:
  • Small and nimble - You can move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than yours.
  • Brave - You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened. (not sure if applicable to an RTD)
  • Lucky - When you roll a 1, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll. (if GM allows)


Skills & Powers:
  • Stealthy
  • Pickpocket
  • Lockpick
  • Backstab

So for instance a character who chooses AG will have an easier time with skills requiring deft hands than a character who chose STR.

That could be interesting if you allow it to apply to even rolls of 1 - then characters with that particular attribute wouldn't ever be able to fail disastrously (only a normal failure). Am I understanding that correctly?

ACCEPTED, I was really hoping someone would make a Rogue, she probably just saved y'alls butts.
