So this has been a long time coming. I've come and gone on here but I think I'm ready to jump into writing again. My availability is limited but I can commit to one to two lengthy posts a week. This is why I'm suited for one x one rpgs.
I can play either role, male or female but I prefer male.
The show is Peaky Blinders that I've become obsessed over. We can also do an original spin on the show focusing on a gang based in England or America, around the same time period.
I don't need to be explicit in my writing but slightly graphic with gore. We would also fill in for other characters too as necessary. I would just love the opportunity to play Thomas. I just love his character.
I would do this over pm or email. Message me if you are interested.
Here's a sample post. Granted, it's an introduction but this is my style. This one is a little more geared towards old victorian ways of speech. Each style or genre will get a different feel.

The gallop of a horse shattered the silence of an open field. Tha-thump. Tha-thump. Tha-thump. Mighty, was this steed, huffing with each tap of the reigns and shifted direction upon order. The rider was in sync with the breathing of the horse as if it was he doing most of the action. Tha-thump. Tha-thump. Tha-thump. Faster. Faster, the rider urged the horse until he came upon a fence. With another flick of the reigns, the rider and the mighty black stallion were airborne, gliding through the warm spring breeze. All he could hear was the heartbeat of his own intertwined with the horse, colliding back into reality when the hooves of the animal reacquainted with the earth. “Easy boy,” the rider whispered, “Take it easy.” The rider guided the horse into a small triumphant trot. The horse took a moment and reared proudly in the sunlight letting all who looked upon this creature, admire its power and beauty. The rider ran a hand through his chocolate curls, brushing strands out of his eyes as he found himself reattaching to reality. “Good show ol’ boy,” he commended the steed with a hardy pat on the side of the animal’s neck. As if the beast comprehended the compliment, it snorted as it trotted towards an aged stable house. The rider heaved a sigh as he wished to remain on the field until another hours’ end. Unfortunately, he knew his time of mindless swift ventures were over for the day, which was confirmed by the shouting of his name near the white wooden building.
“Master Darby!” the voice called, “We are going to be late, sir. The ball is in two hours from now and I do believe mistress Josephine would be quite irate with you, sir..”
The dark-haired lad dismounted the black stallion, passing the reigns off to a stable boy that swiftly emerged from within the depths of the stables. “Thank you, Henry. Please do make certain that Jack gets his treat today. He was a definite good ride,” Theodore commented as he brushed off the accumulation of soil and grass from his once-white britches. The stable boy nodded aggressively and guided the stallion back into its quarters to rest along with the other fine fillies in their dens. “And Walter..,” the man then shifted his attention to the properly dressed servant, who was now poised near a carriage with the door wide open, “Josephine shall not dare near be ready by the time we reach home. And even still, I bet you five shillings that I shall be waiting for her once I bathe and dress.”
“Yes, well, very good sir. Five shillings, indeed,” the servant nodded and assisted Theodore into the ornate carriage, pulled by two dapple grey ponies. The man then signaled for the driver to depart and then climbed into the carriage himself, closing the door behind him. The young gentleman with dark curly locks sat properly in the carriage with his arms secured against his chest. His eyes locked on the ever-changing scenery outside the carriage window with the sun trickling away inch by inch from its high perch in the skyline. “Sir, is there anything on your mind?” Walter interrupted the silent stare with the question in a concerned tone, “Are you not excited for the season?” Theodore offered a weak-hearted smile and patted the older chap on his leg, “Why, who wouldn’t be? My only concern would be to protect Josephine from all the subpar suitors. I contemplated carrying my pistol..”
“Sir! That is most inappropriate,” sputtered Walter with widened eyes.
“A mere jest, my man. A mere jest,” Theo chuckled as the countryside vanished and stone structures began replacing the fruitful foliage. In all honesty, Theodore was not at all excited for the “open season”. In his opinion, the whole societal escapade mirrored an open season of wild game. Were not the women targets and the men the hunters? The reward was to court them, wed them, and promptly fuck them as opposed to serving them for dinner. How much of a difference was there between the two? Clearly, not by much. Theodores’ wandering mind came to a conclusion with a level of clarity as the carriage halted before a large, lavish stone building with more windows than one could count on their two hands. Walter immediately stood and opened the door, guiding the young lad out of the fine carriage. The servant retraced his steps once the lordship made his way inside to rid the satin white seat cushions of any remaining dirt and debris from the britches of his master. Once satisfied, the servant made haste in copying the footsteps of his lord.
Theodore aggressively pushed the large wooden doors of the entrance to an open, releasing the high energy within the estate. Maids were scurrying around the hall, only to pause and greet the lad as he drifted by. “Theo!” a sharp voice shouted from down the hall, belonging to a young girl no more than twelve years of age. “Ada!” he chirped as he bent down with wide-open arms. The young girl with picturesque blond curls came bounding down the hall, only to abruptly stop before collision. “My goodness, you are filthier than when Esther fell into the pile of m..”
“Ada Marie Elizabeth Darby, don’t you dare continue to speak words of ill graces or I will have you rinse your mouth with soap,” the tone was harsh, yet familiar. This was the tone of voice belonging to the only true woman of his heart, his mother. The woman exited a particularly large drawing room that had gold embellishments galore with a backdrop of pastel blues and greens. She mirrored the elegance of the ambiance, clearly ready and fit for a ball. From head to toe, the woman was utterly proper. Her hair was pinned tightly against her crown with a small gold bobble adorning the top of her locks that shimmered with every capture of light. Her gown was of the most attractive color of sea green, which complimented the olive tone of her skin. This was her; this was mother. “My goodness, you look a mess,” she spat running her brown eyes up and down the young man, “Dear son, did you ride the horse or the horse ride you?”
“Well, mother, I’m sure there are times when I ride the horse and…” Theodore began but the woman held up her hand to silence his tongue before his words came to a climax. Understanding the gravity of the situation and the potential insinuation of his statement, Ada covered her mouth to refrain from a loud giggle. “Mama, shall I return to my studies?” the young brilliant girl asked the matron through small escapes of laughter. The woman firmly nodded and ushered the girl to move with haste. Mrs. Darby then snatched the boy’s arm and forcefully guided him to the unnecessarily large staircase, “Make haste, my boy. The Queen cannot wait all evening!”
---
After an hour passed, Theodore adorned an entirely different visage. The young man hurried down the second-floor hall, glancing down at the time on his gold pocket watch. The dark curls on his head became tamed with gel and appeared as if not cleaner than a finely polished spoon. He wore a dark suit made of fine material with a vest that mimicked the color combination in his mother’s gown: a sea green with gold embellishments. Their mother loved it when all the children matched in some manner or another and who were they to object to her wishes? Theo hurried towards the staircase but paused as he beheld his sister, Josephine, standing in the middle of the hall, at the bottom of the staircase, with their mother. Despite being his sister, the young female was a definite vision of beauty. Her hair cascaded off her shoulders with a delicate feathered pin just hoisting her hair away from her ears to allow onlookers to gaze upon her mother’s pearl earrings. Her dress was a fair green color made from taffeta, silk, and lace. Again, the sea-green embraced her beautiful skin tone almost giving her the appearance of a toymaker’s porcelain doll. However, her elegant features became interrupted with a scrunched nose of disapproval in her brother’s direction.
“And who is the late one this time, dear brother?” the young girl taunted as she nervously wrung her hand in her other. Theo rolled his eyes as he reached the bottom set of stairs. “...Quite right, dear sister..” there was no room for objection. Without delay, he swept the arms of his ladies of the evening and offered a very charming and sincere smile. “Let us be off!” he boasted, “And we will make well of the evening and if any man lay a tainted hand upon the breast of my sister…”
“Theodore!” his mother objected at the direction of his speech, “Have all those years of etiquette and manners fall upon deaf ears?” She huffed as she took the arm of her eldest daughter and guided her out the door, abandoning her son. Walter, standing by the entranceway, nodded to the beautiful ladies as they exited the Darby Manor but held out a hand when the lord came turn. Theodore softly exhaled as he dug a hand into the pocket of his quite tight pants to retrieve a few silver coins. “Right,” he mumbled as he plopped the money into the extended hand of his servant, “Five shillings. I do say my friend you should start placing bets in a gambling ring. I bet you would do quite well.” With that, Theodore exited the household, and Walter, grinning from ear to ear, closed the monstrous mahogany door to the fine estate. He chased after the family until everyone was secured in the carriage. With a simple knock on the side, the carriage was off into the cool spring evening with the destination being the Queen’s first open season ball.
The carriage ride to the Queen’s abode was not a mere short feat, yet, the escapade was enjoyable. The streets came alive with similar horse-drawn buggies with the destination one and the same. As the Darby family came to a stop before the home of the Queen, they sat in the carriage for a mere minute to coax words of encouragement into Josephine. “Now, dearest, you will do fine,” their mother began, “There is no pressure to find a mate at this mere ball..”
“Or at all until I run a check upon one’s line of credit, due balances, and assure that their family affairs are in order..” began Theodore until he was given a slap on the arm by their mother. “Honestly, it would not hurt for you to find a lovely young…” the woman began until she met eyes with her son. Those eyes, she understood well. Those stern hazel eyes of her son reflected traces of damage and forlorn. Those were the eyes of a man who made sacrifices for the well being of his family. Mrs. Darby smiled as she gazed at her children and took both of their hands, “Let us enjoy this evenings’ affairs. Your father would want this to be a very most exciting day for all of us.” The door to their carriage open and the ladies were escorted from their horse-powered vehicle by royal servants. There were already numerous carriages parked off the road, indicating the ballroom was already brimming with individuals with the same mindset, same cause, and same objective. Let the season begin.
