While January has never met this woman before he knows of the great wryms from his own time. Although history has settled on its own version of events January would know that there were tales that the legions of Varus were destroyed not by Germanic raiders by by a great lizard that rose from the earth and breathed fire. Sightings of dragons have diminished over the years but they still dwell with their hordes, walking among humans in pleasing guise.

He would also have heard the tale of a great Wyrm that contended with Old King Crow in the folklore of the city. The Wrym and the Crow competed in three contests before Old King Crow emerged the victor.

From the way Barliman is looking at her he is just as scared of her as he was of the Ordo. She wants something he dosent want to give.
It seems clear to you that the Ordo came in when something was going down between Barliman and the woman. She only wants to get away.

She is going to keep her hold for now.

If you want more info you could try to put a face to a name, but probably not a great idea to stand around in the street and get gunned down while doing so.

Both of my questions are in the Synopsis hider of my latest IC post.

As for how the dragon could get January in her debt, January would certainly promise to do something nice for the dragon if she were to start treating her statue of Venus with the respect that the likeness of a Roman goddess deserves and promised to continue doing so.

You still have a debt to Yuki as she didn't need to compel you to follow her. If you had refused she would have called in the debt to attempt to persuade you.
