"Wait... what do you mean?" Alex asked quietly, darting his eyes over to Fae, who stared at the tavern.

[Aristocles]

"I mean, both girls want you as their boyfriend, silly!" Aimee explained. "It's called a love triangle."

[Fsphere]

"You mean they both...?" Alex paused for a moment, his mouth turning to a slight frown. "But I..."

[Aristocles]

"Don't be so embarrassed! If I were you, I'd be honored to be so wanted" Aimee replied, giving him a little wink.

[Fsphere]

"But Fae's my... Girlfriend..." Alex said tentatively, glancing over at a distracted Fae.

[Aristocles]

"Then you have a choice of female, it seems. Lucky you" Aimee told him.

[Fsphere]

"Ch-choose?" Alex asked, his eyes going wide. "I don't know if I can do that..."

[Aristocles]

"No one says you have to choose now, silly" Aimee replied.

[Fsphere]

"Yeah but..." Alex leans in closer to Aimee, quieting his voice, "I really like Fae... we've been together for a long time... but things just aren't the same..."

[Aristocles]

"I can't decide for you, Alex. You have to go with your heart" Aimee told him.

[Fsphere]

"But if I... if I choose one, then the other gets hurt..."

[Aristocles]

"Of course, but you can't have two at the same time" Aimee noted.

[Fsphere]

Alex nodded. "I just don't know how to do this..." he said quietly, gripping fur between his fingers and looking at the ground.

[Aristocles]

"Just let your heart decide" Aimee advised.

[Fsphere]

"Right... My heart...." he replied, trailing off.

Jay, awakened suddenly by voices from the real world, shook his head violently. He had been thinking of what would happen if anything should happen to Aimee. He replied to Rachel, "Y-yeah. You said you were going to distract everyone, right? That's fine. Let's go." He hadn't actually given the plan a lot of thought.

[Aristocles]

"So, Alex, if something happens, will you be able to protect us?" Aimee asked him.

[Fsphere]

Alex slowly nodded. "Y-yeah... Yeah. I can beat up a bad guy!" he stated, raising his fists in a comical fashion.

Rachel stepped in and scrunched her nose at the odor, but her bright green eyes were alert. She glared at some drunks coming near them, and turned to Jay, "So, where is she?"

Aimee smiled. "You should be more sure of yourself. It's cute to see a guy flustered, but not for long. Although most girls won't admit it, we like strong, confident guys. And tall ones too."
