She loves her family and feels very deeply, but knows that sometimes it is better to swallow one’s pride and tongue for the sake of her loved ones. She is very afraid that her sister Ella’s wandering nature is going to get them split up or worse...
She’s protective and brave despite her rather nervous nature and works hard to keep the farm running.
Family: Two siblings; A mischievous little sister called Ella and a sweet and sickly younger brother called Edric.
Settlement: They live on a small farm a bit further in the woods away from Frostridge. There used to be more farms around them, but most of those got abandoned as time went on when the creatures grew more aggressive.
She has to travel back and forth from the village to the farm and vice versa if she needs anything she doesn’t have herself.
Their tribute consist of mostly wool and cheese provided by the sheep of their farm. Occasionally she sold off lambs and older sheep to lessen the toll of the tribute or to acquire medicine that the few traveling merchants that do come up to their village bring along.
With her being of age (18) she also knows that the Elders will start to push for her to find herself a match with one of the boys of the village since outsiders rarely stick around and she hasn't done so yet.
Selene knows it isn’t a bad idea, but she hardly has any connection with any of the villagers of her age safe for Marina her best friend and truthfully it would feel as if she was ripped away from her siblings, the very thing she didn’t want to happen.
