I noticed there’s the OOC here for any chat/plot discussion we need as well :D

Plot info:

I’m going with they knew each other as kids like maybe 9-11ish, I’m going to write in an event where Joseph suffered a head injury at that time (which Elissa doesn’t know about) that has largely made him forget quite a lot of stuff (also partly why he’s involved in piracy) but I’m sure some triggering will bring some memories back for him eventually.

I don’t mind if she stole back the dagger, if you need it as a plot device just now, Joseph was going to have a think about it and examine it later, but it will be some time before his memory begins to trigger in any case, right now he just thinks Elissa’s a bit nuts hahaha, so she might have to accept he doesn’t really remember right now, that might also impact how she feels about how much she is worth to the pirates, if she’s not really useful for a negotiation then what reason do they have to keep her. Joseph is a pirate and although he isn’t particularly cruel, all he really cares about is money and the Gallant.
Also, Elissa isn’t the only woman on the ship, there is one other :P she may or may not be helpful to her.

I wondered if the one standing beside him at the wheel wasn’t a woman. If you don’t mind we can just pretend she took the dagger in my last post and you can go ahead and reply. I’ll probably write about it’s importance to her in another reply.

Ok so, btw, Joseph is definitely going to get veeeeeeery drunk at some point - they’ve had a good raid, they’ve got loads of booze, and being a pirate ship of course they have some rules and hierarchy, but naturally there’s a little anarchy and free spirit in there too, and he frequently has a good drink with his crew, he is a fairly lively drunk and will be a pain in the a** hhahaha

What’s your thoughts on the development of the current scene? :P

I really feel like we need something to happen soon to progress the plot along, that's one reason why I'm trying to get Rat to get revenge on Elissa. Perhaps once that happens Elissa at the female pirate could talk. I've really got nothing big planned after the revenge scene. What are your thoughts?

Okie doke, I tend not to rush it, I like to pace out events so the action isn’t all condensed, also to allow some character development. I wanted to see what Elissa would get up to in the cabin :p also it gives Joseph a break to think about things. It’s hard to react to too much dialogue or events all at once I find. I’m quite keen to see what you have planned for Rat’s revenge! I wouldn’t be upset if he faced some consequences from it…!

The sailingmaster is also highly respected and holds a high position on the ship, so she’s no small figure despite her physical size, she also knows Joseph really well, just to give you a little pre-emotive background :) she is also a pirate, so might not necessarily be friendly as such…

I made Elissa to be a strong character and I think the event with Rat getting revenge is going to get to show that off. I agree on spacing out big events. I hope that what I have planned with Rat's revenge will help to show Elissa's true colors. She really is one of my favorite characters that I have created.

It doesn’t matter to me if she goes back to her room or not. You can decide if he takes her to her room or not.

Okie doke, wasn’t sure what you had in mind. I swear down Joseph is not pleased about this haha, but it just makes sense in light of her condition I think, I also feel it opens up an opportunity for them to chat later perhaps
