Character One:
Name: Leon Argent
Age: 19
Appearance:
Notable Traits: Red orange hair. Brown eyes, used to be orange before posession.
Abilities: Fire manipulation – He can produce and control fire at will
Enhanced senses, increased strength, speed and cunning as a result of Kludde’s possession
Spirit: Kludde, a demonic spirit, originally sought Leon out as means to an end; possession. An issue presented itself in the form of a second soul, already attached to Leon that served as his former Spirit. This spirit was an adult Leopard with a particularly holy soul. When the darkness and light collided, a combination occurred, leaving Leon with his soul split, half of his former spirit, the spirit of Kludde and his own soul. Because of this, both the demon Kludde and Leon received a part of each other.
Leon’s soul was tainted by the darkness, corrupted to a certain extent but kept even by the power of his former spirit. Kludde received the same effect only in reverse. The holy spirit attached itself to Kludde’s twisted soul, changing it irreparably into something both demonic and holy. In a way, Kludde succeeded in possessing Leon. The problem is Leon succeeded in possessing Kludde as well.
Special Items/weapons: Leon is proficient in many styles of combat using various weapons, but has completely mastered only one specific weapon. His Rapier, a slender blade which he uses as his main weapon, he is most proficient in this style of combat as his reflexes are incredibly fast.
He also possesses a trinket given to him by his master. The trinket is a bracelet, made up of white braided leather with a silver ornament made from one of the city’s magical gems. The bracelet itself is nothing special, the gem however is another story. While wearing it, the darker part of his soul is suppressed. Kludde is much easier to control while wearing it and he is less prone to the rage that plagues him, but not immune. If the bracelet is removed, he becomes easily agitated, very on edge and has a much harder time reigning his control over Kludde, who will often times become more threatening toward people in his posture. His tricks become far less harmful as well, often times resulting in somebody being hurt.
Kludde’s chain, typically wrapped around his waist as a belt.
Bio: In Leon’s early life, he was outgoing, happy and lighthearted almost constantly. He could often times be found with a smile on his face and a spring in his step. Just being around him seemed to effect people, lightening their mood significantly in times of depression or sadness. He had many friends. This changed when Kludde came into his life at the age of thirteen. The darkness that fastened itself to his soul changed him over night. He remains the happy and lighthearted appearance, his personality changed very little and people still seemed to gravitate toward that constant aura he seemed to emit, but the inside changed completely.
Gone was the happy and carefree child. While he will not show it often, he feels constantly depressed. A heavy weight seems to press onto his chest constantly and he is much more prone to violence than he had been originally. A constant rage seemed to rest inside of him, constantly building up behind a wall until he reaches a breaking point and snaps, often times during stressful or dangerous events in his life. A fight that endangered his life would set this part of him off, and a reaper would emerge from the inner turmoil. Kludde remains, for the most part, passive and even happy at his side, much like his former spirit, Vajra had been. Leon refuses to even call Kludde by his name, referring to him as Vajra and only Vajra.
Leon was born in Malum to a woman named Maya and a man named Elijah whom he had to leave behind when he went to Omnia as a result of Kludde’s appearance.
Character Two:
Name: Myra Crowe
Age: Eighteen.
Appearance:
Notable Traits: Shockingly white hair reaching to below her waist. Light blue-grey eyes. Extremely Naive.
Unique Abilities: The advanced perception of spiritual and magical energies. High speed, agility, and endurance. Body heals quicker than a regular being.
Summary: Myra's beginning was never defined, the first time anyone could claim she existed was when an older gentleman found the young toddler wandering in the very dangerous wilderness. Easily recognizing the girl's immense spiritual energy and realizing she was something of a rarity he decided to keep an eye on her. This man was known as Isaac Crowe or to those who feared him 'The Black Warlock', a madman of an extreme power who along with a small group of equally powerful allies kept the world in check. However in his waning years, Isaac had become a lonely old man who decided to spend the rest of his days alone in a shack on the edge of the Wilderness. To most he was a crazy old man no one bothered to approach but often many would claim to see a strange young girl walking along with him. These claims became facts as the young girl was now a blossoming woman. Often she would travel to the local town claiming to be Myra Crowe granddaughter of old man Crowe, none the wiser who he truly was. It wasn't until Myra was seventeen which Crowe told her the truth of her origin and what he believed she was.
He had explained that Myra must have been born through some form of dark ritual or simply just a strangeness in the world. Her soul, the soul of a young female human had been combined with a soul from another dimension of existence. Early on, he had discovered his hypothesis as fact when one day a strange white fox with two tails and strange marking on its body came wandering around and eventually began following the girl around almost fascinated with her. A few months after the strange fox appeared, it had obviously made a spiritual pact with the girl making her one of the very rare (Spirit people we still need a name for?)
Accompanying Spirit: Neru the Demon Fox
Physical Description: Neru is a small, male demon fox from another plane of existence who somehow traversed into ours, perplexed with Myra. In his most basic form, Neru appears as a small white fox, no bigger than a cat with strange red markings on its face and paws. When Neru begins to use his magical abilities, he creates small yellow balls of energy around his body. As Neru and Myra access more power, Neru will appear to enhance his appearance often gaining more markings, tails and growing larger while appearing more ferocious.
Appearance:
Equipment:
- Boots of the Crow - Small black leather boots with what appears to be crow feathers sewn into the heels and made to stick out. They allow the user to gracefully 'walk' through the air. A rare item indeed.
- The Hat of Eternal Wisdom - An arrogant and slightly abrasive hat who seems to have a near infinite number of facts. Occasionally however, he may require the person to do a task for him in exchange for information. Apparently, the hat can gain knowledge it may previously not had when very specific and ancient tomes of knowledge are placed within him although most of these are scattered and lost.
- Wooden Staff - A long black crooked stick with a large knot on the end. Working as both as a weapon and walking stick, the wooden staff is made from a rare ironbark tree making it as hard as most metals and more durable. The staff is used as a medium for higher level abilities.
Abilities:
- Lightning Generation - By utilizing Neru's massive spiritual energy and combining it with Myra's magical affinity they can generate enough power to create lightning-based attacks.
- Wind Manipulation - Using the magical energy Myra has, she can control the wind around her. Some aspects of this ability include generation of sonic blasts, manipulating wind currents and forming offensive or defensive spells.
- Rejuvenation - The excess spiritual power Neru has allows Myra to cleanse allies around her and heal them. She can use these abilities to detoxify a person, cleanse their wounds and afflictions and rejuvenate their overall stamina and energy.
The World
Cliffhaven - The wealthy city-state with the Royal family. Possibly located on an isle similar to Britain or a chain of isles with constant cold rain? The main keep is carved from the largest mountain in the land, Mt. (Cool name like Greystone Keep or something), the warriors here boast the most honor and the most troops. They utilize sheer numbers and their naval forces to do most of their fighting. They have developed a use for the magical crystal Omnia mines, by forging it into armors they can easily enhance the metals to to become extremely durable yet heavy (This would mean their weapons are the sharpest but they would have huge hulking knights with strong armor.)
Omnia - The underground city-state of magic, holds the high council of the Magi, the brightest minds in the world of magic. They use an army of battle mages, spellswords and arcane archers, all utilizing special forms of magic and magical infused equipment to defend their cavern.
Legis - A city located across the Grey Sea from Cliffhaven and its closest ally. They host a huge portion of farmland and produce the most livestock, although a weak military force they do the most trading across the land and seek protection from their allies by simply being valuable. Crowned the city everyone should go at least once, hosts a massively diverse culture.
Malum (Mahl-Uhm) - The town of the pride who give birth to highly noble people who excel in almost all arts, some refer to them as overachievers. Living among the beautiful emerald forest in the east. Boasting the highest military power thanks to the highly advanced spiritual and personal understanding of the world along with a highly advanced technology based around the use of 'Mana' a liquid magic fuel source created through unknown means (is that a good idea? Magic is the ability to warp physics but Mana is a liquid form of it, volatile and generally just dangerous.) Using their mana, they have managed to treat mail-based armor to become extremely lightweight, quiet and durable. (They would have lightweight and strong armor but their weapons would be very basic, more defense than offense.)
Jurgard (Jer-guard) - The evil city in the north, surrounded by huge walls of Ice sitting in the center of a frozen ocean. Those born here are ruthless, unforgiving and harsh. Stealing here is unknown, those who attempt are quickly attacked by any man, woman or child who witnesses it and face a public beating along with at least one extremity being cut off. These 'Barbarians' as some refer to them hold a small but extremely powerful group of warriors who focus on a form of physical based magic which makes a single warrior worth at least twenty regulars. (Think of Spartan Barbarians combined with the Huns and raised in Kung Fu schools, they will crush you.)
Neraine (Nur-rain) - The city lost to thieves, with no real ruler it is mainly run by warring crime families, warlords and local gangs who claim to own specific 'turfs'. Death, rape, kidnapping are commonplace here and any that survive to become an adult are ruthless in a way more cruel than those in the North, they work in the dark arts of assassination, espionage, sabotage. Rumors of necromancy and other dark magic exists here. A city lost in the southern swamplands generally ignored by most of society while sitting on the edge of the wilderness.
