Hey! Ehm, this is my first time posting something on here, so please forgive me if this doesn't cover everything necessary. But, i'm going to try regardless. Please bear with me, i'll try to cover everything i'm looking for as well as how you can contact me the easiest. Here goes nothing!
Before anything, i would like to note that i use Discord for my roleplays, as it's what i'm most comfortable with. It's also where i'm most active. I have a lot of free time since i'm looking for a job, so i'd prefer someone who is able to reply more than once or twice in a day.
An introduction, you ask? Hi! My name is Jace, i'm a 20 year old roleplayer who goes by they/them. Although i'm assigned male at birth, i'm genderfluid. Which means i don't always go by the same pronouns, hence the "they/them". I have been roleplaying over Discord ever since i got it somewhere in 2017, and before that here/there too. I've been working on the amount of detail i put out lately, and i dare say i've gotten to the point where i'm able to put out paragraphs/multiparagraphs. It all depends on what's happening during the roleplay, of course. If you are searching for something novella, then i'm afraid i won't be the person for you. Sorry!
Now, onto what i want from a roleplay, right? First of all, like the title states, i'm not interested in fandoms. That's not to say we can't take inspiration from them, or take characters designs. I simply don't want to roleplay as canon characters in a pre existing world. It's not my cup of tea. I'm more comfortable playing a single character each, since i do always feel anxious about potentially forgetting or messing up with one of the characters. I'm only comfortable with people over the age of 18, so please respect that.
Now, i understand that some of you might want to add NSFW parts into the roleplay. That's fine, but don't focus it around that, please. It becomes very uncomfortable if it's all my partner wants. But, if we do add it, my characters won't be the assertive ones. Definitely not at the start.
As far as plots go, i don't have anything specific in mind. Not because i'm lazy, but because i enjoy coming up with plots together with my partners. Romance is the one thing i absolutely love to add, but enemies to lovers is overdone for me. I don't enjoy it anymore.
I'll list some Do's and Don'ts, so please keep to them. If you do, i'm sure we'll get along just fine!
My do's:
Let me know who you are. Don't simply send me something boring like "Hi", "I'm interested", "Want to rp?". Those give the wrong first impressions for me. When i say "let me know who you are", i don't mean share sensitive information, rather.. How old are you, what are your pronouns, what gender do you want me to rp as, do you have any plot ideas/should we come up with something together? Those kind of things.
Have common decency. If an idea gets denied, don't be petty about it. There's nothing more annoying than someone who starts an argument over something stupid.
Be willing to work WITH me. Say more than "sure", "alright", "yeah/no". Please give me your input, if i get such answers constantly i'll most likely call the roleplay off. It's just super annoying, i'm sorry.
My don'ts:
Don't be toxic. It's just that simple. If you've got something to say, or something you disagree with, do it respectfully. "That's a good idea, but i don't think it's something for me" comes across way different than "That idea sucks, got anything else?"
Don't bring real life into it. What i mean by that is, don't ask for pictures of me, don't send any of you. Don't ask for sensitive information. Of course, if it's something like a picture of scenery, or a pet, that's a different story. I'm just very uncomfortable if people try doing things with sensitive information.
Don't ghost. It's that simple. If you don't enjoy the roleplay anymore, just mention it instead of ignoring me. Best case scenario we simply create a new roleplay. Worst case we'll just part ways. It's really not difficult and i see it as common decency to at least let someone know you're bored and don't wish to continue.
Don't be a male. I'm sorry, nothing personal, i've had too many bad experiences with male roleplayers lately. While it is true that i'm bisexual, i'm just currently feeling very uncomfortable around men. Especially on the internet.
Now, i could write on and on, but i'll just end it there. If you wish to contact me, the easiest way would be through my Discord:
No YOU'RE pretty >,<#7281
Capital letters, spaces, everything. It's a copy-paste, so that should work perfectly fine.
Thank you for reading, i hope everyone who made it this far has an amazing day! Even if we don't end up roleplaying! ♥
