This is an interest check for a concept I've had rattling my old think tank for a while now; a Multiverse-level Crossover RP that'll bring in all sorts of characters, good and bad, and see how they react and adapt to this drastically different situation.
Story-wise, it's pretty simple (to start with). Your character(s) were doing something back in their home universe when a strange incident occurs; sometimes it's unprompted, or perhaps something within that fictional world was triggered to cause this event. Whatever the case, by the end of it, they'll soon be realizing they aren't home anymore, instead being found on-board some form of hyper-complex, massive space station, seemingly outside of the time stream, though also eerily abandoned and in severe disrepair. The only thing they'll be able to figure out about the hulking construct for some time is this; for some reason, whoever or whatever made this station, created it with the intent of simulating dozens, maybe hundreds of different timelines, universes, and scenarios across all of time for reasons unknown.
So in-between trying to find out the true purpose of the station and finding a way back to their respective homes, the characters'll be visiting these astonishing simulated universes, both for simplistic reasons (I mean, ya ain't finding food on an abandoned space station, that's for sure), or more complex ones, not the least of which being these simulations might bring a sign of the purpose of the station, or maybe how the characters can return to their home dimensions. While this is all happening, there is no doubt those with more wicked intents are thinking of ways to abuse and manipulate the new system around them, and how to strike out at the heroes they oh-so-despise.
Character-wise, the sky's the limit! Though, given the nature of this RP, I suggest your character having some sort of combat prowess to speak of; most bad guys are more prone to violence than conversation, after all. Also, of course, stronger characters will be dragged down to a general level playing field to others, especially those with cheat abilities, like time manipulation of any sort, just to name one.
But enough about me yapping! Hopefully this catches the attention of some folk so I can find an excuse to actually make this thing. Here's hoping! And if you've got questions, I'm more than happy to answer.
