Hey folks, it's your friendly neighborhood heathen! Just to get my brain working, I'm going to throw out a few ideas and see if I get any bites.
As usual: medium to full depth, I forgive typos, and my themes/writing can get dark and adult. If you're not over eighteen or comfortable with that, then you're probably not the partner for me. I also work a lot and sometimes will not reply for a couple days - you can thank work, school, and my mental health for that. Despite the gaps, I will keep in contact annoyingly well. Discord is where I typically will chat, but I adore keeping up with things.
As a note: While I traditionally only write female roles, and I'm trash at writing as male or anything in-between, I think I might try writing a male role or two for the experience with the right partner. With that said, I don't care where your character falls on the gender or bio sex spectrum!

Mystery and Intrigue
- A string of violent murders has been happening within a small town, mostly being called "animal attacks". Local law enforcement/rangers or even something higher on the command chain knows that it isn't being done by animal nor human. Suspicion falls upon a drifter that showed up around the same time, but can they work together to keep the town safe? (This idea can definitely expand into world building!)
- During a dig/construction, hidden chambers are found that had been wiped clean from history. Ancient power locked away, kept from the world until those with the knowledge to awaken the entity within, leaves those who discovered it a choice: free the sleeping being in the tombs or seal it back away forever. (I have a few ideas for this, two of which being a dragon or an earthbound angel.)
- A. Rumors have swirled for years that the militaries all over the globe have been performing experiments to create super soldiers. What if it were true? Serums that change a person into something else entirely exist, but so do the cruel things these experiments have endured. With the technology advancing, can it be safe to let the public know about it? (I have a character in this program. Opposite her could be a handler, another experiment, a scientist, etc.)
- B. Rumors have swirled for years about government experiments, but a young soldier/veteran finds themselves in an odd situation when they become the handler of one.
- Small town USA, good community and great place to live. Except there's been strange things happening: animal mutilation, hikers going missing, hunters not coming home. Animals are acting strange at the treeline: dogs won't chase rabbits, horses refuse to go on trails. Then, amongst all this mess, a stranger appears and wants to help. (Obviously supernatural, with my role being the stranger. It could be anything: wendigo, werewolves, vampires, etc. Up for discussion.)
- While out fishing, YC runs into a wolf. They could just be roaming/hunting or, if the spot is productive enough, ends up being saved from a bear or other predators by it. The beast is large, unafraid of humans despite keeping a distance, but doesn't stay. Later, the same wounds are found on a strange new bartender in the town who drifted in not long ago.
- A demon finds themselves explicitly pulled to a small town, following the trail of someone or something supernaturally powerful. Can they remain hidden among humans, or will they blow both their covers?
- A. A werewolf passing through town finds themselves injured and taken in by a kind person or family. They just see a large lupine, not knowing the truth. Could they learn to accept a non-human in the midst?
- B. Alternatively, a hunter finds this werewolf injured after trying to save someone else from another baddie. She is the only witness, but can they spare her to hunt down the real problem?
Historical and Fantasy
- A war is rising on the horizon. A royal/noble seeks a warrior that has made a name for themselves as a war hero, offering his daughter's hand in marriage to unify military prowess and secure his place within the courts. Little does her betrothed know that this young woman is more than she appears and may play a large part in securing victory and honor for the kingdom. (Obvious fantasy elements here, and obviously non-humans are welcomed!)
- Time travel! A woman pulled back in history or someone pulled forward by several different means. Artifacts, spells/curses, etc.
- Caught in a trap, a shifter is unable to get the powerful jaws off or snare free. At the mercy of the elements, will the one who finds her choose mercy or murder?
- A newly turned werewolf is in need of a pack to show her a new life. Can they accept her, and her them?
- A refugee flees from her war-torn country to what could be relative safety. Is it truly a sanctuary or are there much darker secrets?

Slice of Life & Modern
- Childhood sweethearts end up split up after high school for some reason and she returns with a child. Whose child is it and will he choose to be in her life again?
- Two strangers meet on Tinder, not knowing that dark things could be around any corner. Criminal activity, crazy ex, etc! Trauma and romance abound.
- Coming out of the closet; this ties into my Tinder ideas. A woman is learning how to finally realize that she wasn't miserable dating, she was just miserable with men. I could play either role in this.
- High school sweethearts meet back up after years of being apart from anything from military service to going to college or what have you. A catch: she's either pregnant or has a child now, and it isn't his. Can he still fall back in love with her and be the protector and father he always should have been?
- Stripper/call girl with someone rough and tumble. Biker, mafia, et cetera - a way to change her life, but it would be walking into something potentially far more dangerous. On the other hand, it could be a good guy- undercover cop, for example.
- A couple of kids promise that if they aren't married by a certain age, they'll marry each other some day. That time has come, but how have their lives changed in that time? Has one been in jail? Become mixed up in unsavory things? Become famous? Divorced? Shenanigans could be abound.
- I’m a MASSIVE SUCKER for second-chance romances.
New, Fresh & Cravings
- Every day, you return to your apartment and say, “Honey, I’m home. Oh wait, that’s right… I live alone.” But then one day, a voice replies, “I picked up some pizza.”
- Your family member passes away, leaving you $500,000 in their will under the condition that you resume care for your hundred-year-old home. (Ghosts? Monsters? Demons? Or just a cutesy story to bond with the staff and people in the nearby town?)
- Pet dragon transforms into a person!
- A woman has been dating guy after guy, but it never seems to work out. She’s unaware that she’s actually been dating the same guy over and over; a shapeshifter who’s fallen for her and is certain he’s going to get it right this time.
- Open to suggestion!
